The HP ZBook Ultra 14 G1a comes very close to eclipsing my MacBook Pro in terms of portability and beats the base MacBook Pro's CPU power, but it comes at the cost of battery life and a higher price. The base configuration of the ZBook Ultra costs $2,599, which is a bit steep for the average consumer. And it doesn’t get the full leverage of the Ryzen AI Max Pro chipset’s unified memory. If you need the ultimate combination of affordability, power, and battery life, the MacBook Pro 14 (M4, 2024) is still the way to go, especially if you don’t need to run Windows to access all of your applications.

HP: 1939 gegründet, ist das US-Unternehmen ein wichtiger Server und Druckerhersteller und eines der führenden IT-Unternehmen weltweit. Bis 2015 hieß das Unternehmen Hewlett-Packard Company. Nach einer Aufspaltung wurde der Computer-Bereich in HP Inc. umbenannt.
2023 hatte HP einen ungefähren Marktanteil von 22% am weltweiten PC-Absatz und war damit die Nummer 2 nach Lenovo.
Diese Grafikkarten sollten alle modernen Spiele flüssig darstellen können. Anspruchsvolle Spiele müssen jedoch in mittlerer Detailstufe gespielt werden. Ältere und weniger anspruchsvolle Spiele wie die Sims Serie können auch in hohen Detailsstufen flüssig dargestellt werden.
AMD Radeon 8060S: Die AMD Radeon 8060S ist eine integrierte Grafikkarte in den AMD Strix Halo APUs (z.b. AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395). Sie bietet alle 40 CUs mit bis zu 2,9 GHz Grafiktakt und nutzt die neue RDNA 3,5 Architektur.
AMD Radeon 8050S: Eine integrierte Grafikkarte, die zur Strix Halo APU Familie gehört. Sie basiert auf der AMD RDNA 3.5 Architektur und verfügt über 32 CUs.

Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 395: Eine sehr schneller Strix Halo Familie Prozessor, die im Januar 2025 vorgestellt wurde. Die Ryzen AI Max+ APU verfügt über 16 Zen 5 CPU-Kerne mit bis zu 5,1 GHz, eine 40 CU RDNA 3+ Radeon 8060S Grafikkarte und die 50 TOPS XDNA 2 Neural Engine. Technisch identisch zum Consumer AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 jedoch mit Support für Management und zusätzliche Security Features.
Ryzen AI Max PRO 390: Eine leistungsstarke Strix Halo Familie Prozessor, die im Januar 2025 vorgestellt wurde. Die Ryzen AI Max APU ist mit 12 Zen 5 CPU-Kernen mit bis zu 5 GHz Takt, der 32 CU RDNA 3+ Radeon 8050S Grafikkarte und der 50 TOPS XDNA 2 Neural Engine ausgestattet. Technisch identisch zum Consumer AMD Ryzen AI 390 jedoch mit Support für Management und zusätzliche Security Features.

14 Zoll Display-Grösse stellt ein Mittelding zwischen den kleinen Subnotebook-Formaten und den Bildschirmen der 15 Zoll-Standard-Laptops dar.
Der Grund der Beliebtheit mittelgrosser Displays ist, dass diese Größe einigermaßen augenschonend ist, gute Auflösungen mit brauchbaren Detailgrößen liefern und dennoch nicht allzu viel Strom verbraucht und die Geräte noch halbwegs kompakt sein können.
Früher waren 14 Zoll-Geräte sehr selten, jetzt stellen sie nach den 15-Zollern den Standard bei Laptops dar.
