Die Auswahl ist ohnehin klein: Der Nova Go von Asus oder Envy X2 von HP waren die ersten Modelle, nun kommt Lenovo mit dem Miix 630 dazu, und der Hersteller hebt das eingebaute LTE-Mobilfunkmodem, die lange Akkulaufzeit von 20 Stunden sowie die Aktualisierung von E-Mails im Hintergrundmodus hervor.

As the first wave of Snapdragon-powered 2-in-1 devices the Miix 630 does well: it lasts for an age. Problem is the keyboard isn't great and this setup limits your app pool, which will be a major no-go for plenty of users. There's a lot of potential, it's just not quite there yet.

The Miix 630 is basically budget performance in a premium body, with 4G and a big battery to help sweeten the deal. It could be a great option for users who want a 2-in-1 laptop that’s easy to use on the go, without worrying about battery life or Wi-Fi connections, but only if you’re happy to stick to word processing and web browsing.

Later this year will be the Snapdragon 850 PCs, and those promise a 30% increase in performance. I don't know if that will be enough, but this platform should continue to get better over time. Unfortunately, that time is not now.

The Lenovo Miix 630 isn’t a bad by any means but it does have a few short comings because of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile processor and Windows 10 S. Much of it can be overcome though by just upgrading it to Windows 10 Pro if need be.

Based on looks and build alone, the Lenovo Miix 630 detachable laptop isn’t bad at all. The build quality seems top notch, it seems pretty light for what it is, and the keyboard case itself is pretty nice. I do like the fact that this can turn into a true tablet which makes it even lighter as opposed to the 2-in-1 convertible laptops where the keyboard just folds back but you’re still left with all the weight.

Qualcomm Adreno 540: Grafikchip für Smartphones und Tablets, integriert im Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC. Bietet eine vergleichbare Architektur wie der Adreno 530, mit leichten Optimierungen und höheren Taktraten dank 10nm Herstellungsprozess.

Einige nicht anspruchsvolle aktuelle Spiele können mit geringen Details noch flüssig gespielt werden. Für Office und Video natürlich ausreichende Leistungsreserven.
