It basically borrows most of the experience and even hardware from the V40 and V30 before it, bringing in some new refinements. The main camera has been tweaked a little to now include a better OV50e sensor plus Zeiss optics for all three shooters. And there is now an even larger 6,000mAh battery with faster 90W charging. This year, the model introduces a new Dimond Shield Glass protection (in collaboration with Schott), which should be up to 50% more drop-resistant compared to the V40's first Schott glass. Of course, the trio of 50MP autofocusing cameras continue to be the star of the show.

Overall, the vivo V50 is a solid midrange smartphone. It looks like vivo decided to just package all the goodies into one V series phone and call it a day. I think this was a good idea, rather than have two V-series phones with minor differences. I don’t think you need to rush out and upgrade from the V40 Pro, though if you want a bigger battery, then certainly do it. But there’s not a lot here to make me want to move from the V40 Pro. Still, if you’re looking to upgrade from an older midrange smartphone, and you can get one of these, then the vivo V50 is a solid choice. I will add, if you can at all afford to purchase the vivo X200 Pro, that is the one I would buy over this. But price is a factor.

67% Vivo V50e 5G Review: Sharp camera, eye-catching design, but is that enough?

The Vivo V50e 5G stands out with its stylish design, vibrant display, impressive camera, and long battery life. While it handles daily tasks well, the dated chipset holds it back in gaming. A solid choice for casual users, but not ideal for power users or gamers. The mid-range smartphone market in India is more competitive than ever, with brands constantly trying to outdo each other by offering premium features at accessible prices. From vibrant displays to powerful cameras and fast charging, users now expect a lot without having to spend a fortune. Well, Vivo has just launched a new contender in this space—the Vivo V50e 5G– which is priced at Rs 28,999. With its eye-catching design, the phone looks well-equipped to take on the competition. But does it live up to expectations in real-world use? I spent a good amount of time with the device to find out how it performs across key areas like design, display, performance, camera, and battery. Here’s my full review of the Vivo V50e 5G.

Vivo:

Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.

Qualcomm Adreno 720: Grafikchip für Smartphones und Tablets, integriert im Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC. 

Diese Karten können nur sehr alte und sehr anspruchslose 3D Spiele flüssig darstellen.  Anwendungen wie Office, Internet surfen, Bildbearbeitung oder (SD) Videoschnitt sind jedoch ohne große Einschränkungen möglich.

ARM Mali-G57 MP2: Integrierte Grafikkarte der Mittelklasse mit 2 Kernen / Clustern (MC2 oder MP2) basierend auf die Valhall Architektur.

Einige nicht anspruchsvolle aktuelle Spiele können mit geringen Details noch flüssig gespielt werden. Für Office und Video natürlich ausreichende Leistungsreserven.

ARM Mali-G615 MP2: Mittelklasse Grafikchip für Smartphones mit 2 der 6 möglichen Kernen. Basiert auf die vierte Generation der Valhall Architektur. Bietet Variable Rate Shading.

Qualcomm Snapdragon:

SD 7 Gen 3: Mittelklasse SoC mit 8 Kryo Kernen (1x ARM Cortex-A715 2,63 GHz Prime Core, 3x ARM Cortex A715 2,4 GHz Performance-Cluster, 4x ARM Cortex A510 mit 1,8 Effizienz-Cluster) und einem X63 5G Modem. Der Chip wird im modernen 4nm Prozess gefertigt.

Mediatek Dimensity 6000:

Dimensity 6300: Die CPU arbeitet insgesamt mit acht Kernen, welche sich in zwei Cluster unterteilen. Der eine besitzt zwei ARM Cortex-A76-Leistungskerne mit jeweils bis zu 2,4 GHz, der andere sechs ARM Cortex-A55-Energiesparkerne mit jeweils bis zu 2,0 GHz. Als Arbeitsspeicher kann LPDDR4x-RAM mit 2.133 MHz verwendet werden, als interner Speicher wird UFS 2.2 unterstützt.

Mediatek :

Dimensity 7300: Der Dimensity 7300 ist ein Mittelklasse-Prozessor mit integriertem 5G Modem. Der CPU-Teil integriert vier ARM Cortex-A78 Kerne mit bis zu 2,5 GHz und vier Stromsparkerne vom Typ Cortex-A55 mit bis zu 2 GHz. Der SoC wird im modernen 4nm Prozess gefertigt.
