If you're looking for a powerful smartphone under Rs. 30,000 that can play all your favourite games, has a great display, offers good battery life, and has a decent set of cameras, then the Poco X6 Pro is an excellent choice. HyperOS is also good; if you can ignore the bloatware, you've got a total bang for the buck. Apart from the camera performance and the IP rating, I'd recommend this over the Oppo Reno 11 Pro and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+.

Das Poco X6 5G ist im Prinzip ein Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G mit abgespeckter Kamera und glatter Rückseite. Prozessor und Tempo sind identisch, beide Geräte laden sehr schnell und bieten viel Ausdauer. Das Display ist gleich groß, gleich knackig und gleich scharf. Die Fototalente des Poco X6 zeigen sich nur bei Tageslicht. Wenn das reicht und eine glatte Rückseite nicht stört, ist das Poco X6 ein guter Deal.

The Poco X6 5G launched in India with its big brother, the Poco X6 5G Pro. Both smartphones roll out in the Indian market as competition that even pricier phones are afraid of. The Poco X6 5G launched in India at a starting price of ₹21,999, and believe me this smartphone is worth every penny. According to my testing and experience, the Poco X6 5G is a proper mid-range killer. Its beautiful and responsive display is as good as a sub-35K smartphone’s display. The processor is also a mid-range chipset, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 runs games and other apps smoothly. The low-light camera is an exception, but otherwise, the camera is brilliant including the front camera. Coming to its battery, it’s one thing that Poco should focus on. If that’s fixed….this smartphone is such a gem. However, I really loved the fast charging in this smartphone.

In a vacuum, the Poco X6 is a great purchase, it has excellent specifications for the price, and it’s very enjoyable to live with. The problem comes via its Pro sibling, which only costs £50 more and is a much more compelling option. The X6 Pro stands out as one of the best options for gaming in its price bracket, and that’s definitely not the case with the standard Poco X6. However, the display, speakers and charging speeds are still a cut above most of the competition. You still get that solid main camera, too. If you know you’ll never be gaming, or doing anything processor-heavy like video editing, then you could save yourself some cash here. In most cases, though, I’d advise saving up the extra and going for the Pro. Then you’ll get double the storage, Android 14, and a much faster processor. It’s also worth considering the Samsung Galaxy A34, which can currently be found for less than the X6 and offers longer software support and far less bloatware. With that model, you’d lose out on some performance and get a less impressive display, though.

With 67W fast-charging support, the phone refuels in no time and is ready to go again, with its 5,100mAh battery keeping the lights on beyond a day with ease. The phone also manages to click decent pictures but it does have some consistency issues in this department. While I like the design of the phone, if you hate using phone cases, you’d have a problem here as the protruding camera sensors cause wobbling issues while the phone is lying on a flat surface. In this price range, I cannot think of a phone that offers better performance, so I’d say that if you are looking for a phone that delivers on this front, the X6 is a no-brainer. However, if you’re looking for a better camera phone, you can go for other options such as Moto Edge 40 Neo, Realme 11 Pro, and Samsung Galaxy F54.

The cameras do well in broad daylight, but the low-light performance is mediocre at best. We did expect more. Finally, the Poco X6 should have launched with HyperOS like the Poco X6 Pro, but alas - it comes with Android 13 and MIUI 14. The HyperOS update is around the corner, but it will eat one of those three promised major updates right after you buy the phone, which is a terrible trick. Overall, the Poco X6 is a solid phone with competitive price and features. And that is why it is easy to recommend in spite of some not so major flaws - it is just a solid offer.

The AMOLED display is definitely something that you won't find in this price segment and is great for content consumption. The phone can also take good photos in daylight conditions. You get good battery life, and decent performance as well. At this price point, the Poco X6 Neo is definitely a hero.

Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.

ARM Mali-G615 MP6: Mittelklasse Grafikchip für Smartphones mit 6 der 6 möglichen Kernen. Basiert auf die vierte Generation der Valhall Architektur. Bietet Variable Rate Shading.

Qualcomm Adreno 710: Grafikchip für Smartphones und Tablets, integriert im Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. Laut Qualcomm um 2x schneller als die alte Adreno 644 im Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.

Diese Karten können nur sehr alte und sehr anspruchslose 3D Spiele flüssig darstellen.  Anwendungen wie Office, Internet surfen, Bildbearbeitung oder (SD) Videoschnitt sind jedoch ohne große Einschränkungen möglich.

ARM Mali-G57 MP2: Integrierte Grafikkarte der Mittelklasse mit 2 Kernen / Clustern (MC2 oder MP2) basierend auf die Valhall Architektur.

Dimensity 8300-Ultra: Die CPU arbeitet insgesamt mit acht Kernen, welche sich in zwei Cluster unterteilen. Im ersten Cluster sitzt ein ARM Cortex-A715-Leistungskern, der mit bis zu 3,35 GHz arbeitet. Dazu kommen 3 weitere ARM Cortex-A715-Kerne mit 3,2 GHz. Im zweiten Cluster befinden sich vier ARM Cortex-A510-Energiesparkerne mit 2,2 GHz. Als Arbeitsspeicher kann LPDDR5-RAM verwendet werden, als interner Speicher wird UFS 4.0 unterstützt. 

Dimensity 6080: Der Dimensity 6080 ist ein unterer Mittelklasse-Prozessor mit integriertem 5G Modem. Der CPU-Teil integriert zwei schnelle ARM Cortex-A76 Kerne mit bis zu 2,4 GHz und sechs Stromsparkerne vom Typ Cortex-A55 mit bis zu 2 GHz. Der 6080 ist technisch ähnlich zum älteren Dimensity 700.

Qualcomm Snapdragon:

SD 7s Gen 2: Mittelklasse SoC mit 8 Kryo Kernen (4x ARM Cortex-A78 2,4 GHz Performance-Cluster, 4x ARM Cortex A55 1,95 GHz Effizienz-Cluster) und einem5G Modem (bis zu 2900 Mbps Download). Der Chip wird im modernen 4nm Prozess gefertigt.
