EN→DEThe Acer Swift is an affordable all-around device that may lack in the style department, but offers solid productivity and light gaming experiences out-of-the-box. Where the Swift X mostly stumbles are its connectivity which can be slow at many times thanks to the outdated MediaTek Wi-Fi configuration and the excessive software bloat the comes paired with the laptop out of the box. Besides spending about 30 minutes setting up personal Windows configurations, savvier users will probably spend another half hour to hour hunting down and uninstalling about a dozen useless resource hogging applications and suggested software on the Swift X. However, for around $950, what's two hours of set up for a device with above average battery life, dedicated NVIDIA GPUs and mobile processor that offers a relatively quiet and cool computing experience?

EN→DE Archive.org versionThis Acer SwiftX 14 is a balanced performance ultraportable able of snappy daily-use multitasking and some good capabilities in light workloads and games. It's also built well, offers a fair-quality matte IPS screen, alright IO, and long battery life. My gripes with this design are the single-fan thermal module that blows hot air into the screen and the poor audio quality, as well as the white-lit mushy keyboard. All in all, though, this is a good-value choice at around 1000-1100 USD/EUR, as long as you're willing to trade the performance you would get on a full-size laptop within a similar budget for the portability of this laptop.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Mobile: Mid-Range Notebook-Grafikkarte basierend auf der Desktop GTX 1650 mit Turing Architektur. Bietet keine Raytracing und Tensor-Kerne im Gegensatz zu den stärkeren RTX 2000 Modellen. Die Leistung soll etwas oberhalb der alten GTX 1050 Ti liegen. Es gibt eine Variante mit 1024 und eine mit 896 Shader.
Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.

R7 5700U: Mobile APU mit acht Zen 2 basierten Kernen welche mit 1,8 bis 4,3 GHz takten. Integriert eine Vega Grafikkarte mit 8 CUs und maximal 1900 MHz.
