EN→DEUltimately, the biggest drawback of the ProArt PX13 is its middling battery stamina, though the suite of built-in power profiles mitigate at least some of the concern for me. For anyone planning on docking the PC or leaving it plugged into AC at least some of the time, the situation is more than tenable. As mentioned earlier on, Asus has refreshed the PX13 for 2026 with a slightly newer AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, while also adding in the ability to move conventional RAM into VRAM. This 2026 model has a new and less power-hungry accelerated processing unit (APU) design that should improve the performance per watt ratio when compared to my review model. With this in mind, if you can find the 2025 PX13 at a discounted price, and you don't mind its somewhat middling battery life, it'll serve you well for the majority of intensive creative endeavors and gaming sessions you might throw its way.

EN→DEWhile there are flaws, I wouldn’t let the PX13’s 60Hz refresh rate or middling battery life put you off buying it if you make a living creating content. This is a gorgeous and performant laptop I think is the absolute business. Looking for cheaper alternatives? You can’t go far wrong with the MacBook Air 13-inch M3 (from $1,099), while the Microsoft Surface Pro 11 (from $999) remains a compelling 2-in-1 choice. After an AI laptop that’s a little bigger? Then look no further than the excellent Asus ProArt P16 (from $1,899). Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got more crappy dinosaurs for the PX13 to work its AI magic on.

EN→DEThe performance of the Asus ProArt PX13 is impressive from the outset. While some laptops and tablets rival its performance, Asus has struck a perfect balance with the PX13, making it highly appealing to the creative industry. Many creatives rely on Apple MacBook Pros, but the prohibitive cost of these machines has led to an increased interest in Windows alternatives. The PX13 packs desirable features into a compact design. The laptop's durability will appeal to creatives. The PX13 feels robust, and this is reinforced by its meeting military-grade standards. Its hybrid design enables it to quickly flip from a laptop into a tablet and with the addition of the stylus this becomes and increadibly powerful creative tool.

EN→DEThe Asus ProArt PX13 is a top choice for creators looking for a compact laptop that can easily get the most out of demanding apps like Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro. While its battery life could be better, it scored superbly well in our performance, graphics, and AI benchmark tests. With its sharp OLED display and 2-in-1 design, the ProArt PX13 is the complete package for creatives. The ProArt PX13 is especially well-suited for anyone looking to use their laptop for AI tasks like image generation or machine learning since the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 CPU crushed our AI benchmark tests. The ProArt PX13 can even handle AAA gaming thanks to its Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 graphics card. The Asus ProArt PX13 is easy to recommend for creatives and professionals alike. EN→DEIt's not cheap, but we can't think of another laptop that gives you this level of CPU and GPU performance in such a compact, convertible form factor. Whether sitting at the desk, on the move, or slumped on the sofa, it's a joy. If you don't need the portability, larger 16-inch models might give you the same or more power with slightly better ergonomics – and possibly at a cheaper price point - but where the small size matters, the PX12 can't be beaten. It's an exceptional device for power users and creatives on the go.

EN→DEAfter spending nearly a month with this laptop, I keep coming back to the same feeling. That this is what a Gaming MacBook would be, if Apple made one, other than the fact it runs Windows. This laptop looks and feels a lot like a MacBook Pro, and that’s what I love so much about this, along with the beautiful OLED touch screen, and pretty decent battery life. Despite the AI fluff on the ProArt PX13, it does indeed deserve an Editor’s Choice. It really nails just about every metric that it needs to. Sure, it’s pricey, but when you look at the specs – including an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 inside – you’ll understand why it is over $2,000. And that’s before the tariffs.

The screen, being an OLED, is as bright and contrasty as you might expect. It tops out at 60 Hz though, which is a mark against it in these days of 360 Hz laptops. However, its touch interface is fast and accurate, and having a stylus in the box instead of being an optional extra is great to see. It also has a really nice charging connector—a reversible rectangle not too dissimilar to a MiniDisplayPort plug but smaller than the one Lenovo uses. It keeps the Thunderbolt 4 ports free for video and fast data transfer uses, and there's a full-size HDMI 2.1 too, for that OLED ultrawide. Overall, the ProArt PX13 is a good laptop to use if you make money from your digital creations and want to play some games afterwards.

EN→DEThe ASUS ProArt PX13 is a great choice for creative professionals thanks to its efficient AI-powered CPU, sharp 3K OLED touchscreen, reliable GPU, and other useful features. It may not be the most powerful laptop on the market, but for a 2-in-1 laptop, it manages to offer reliable performance for tasks like video and photo editing, graphic design, digital drawing, and even a bit of gaming. The ASUS Dial integrated into the touchpad, as well as support for ASUS Pen 2.0, offers intuitive and convenient interactions with creative software, although they might take time to get used to. I really wish that laptop offered a display with a faster refresh rate , and maybe better battery life. But overall, the ASUS ProArt PX13 is a solid package.

EN→DEMaking things small is always a challenge, and making small things powerful is downright one of the most difficult tasks on the planet. Take any sports car with a super-high power-to-weight ratio, for example; getting its design and materials right is a painstaking process. But the joy of driving one is simply priceless. Similarly, small and powerful computers will always be more expensive than big and powerful ones, simply because it takes an immaculate use of available space in the most efficient way possible to create something that’s tightly packed and delivers an equally tight punch.Along the same lines, we find the ASUS ProArt PX 13. As its name suggests, it is a 13-inch creator laptop belonging to ASUS’s ProArt lineup.

EN→DEWith a price of Rs 215,990 for the Nvidia RTX 4050 variant that we have, the Asus ProArt PX13 is an investment. And considering its performance, stunning display, and thoughtful design, it’s one that’s worth making if you’re a creator. EN→DEThe AI robot mouse is unforgivable, but the ProArt PX13 deserves a rave review and Editors' Choice honors. It doesn't have the software-compatibility question mark the Arm-powered PZ13 tablet does, and its convertible design is more convenient for presentations and touch-screen apps if not sketching and scribbling. EN→DEThe Asus ProArt PX13 GoPro Edition has been one of the most thoroughly impressive laptops I’ve tested. Its AMD Radeon 8060S integrated graphics outpace another version of this 13-inch 2-in-1 laptop I tested previously, which was equipped with a discrete Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU. It’s wild how much better this GoPro Edition laptop is. Not only are all the benchmark scores higher, but I also saw over three times the battery life (up to 13 hours) on this new machine. Unfortunately, the big but here is the $2,999 price. That’s much higher than the standard Asus ProArt PX13, which costs a much lower $1,799. For your $3K, you get some nice bundled extras, including two cases and a smart pen – but they all have their own flaws. The pen, for instance, doesn’t stow anywhere on the laptop and comes with a specialized charger. Meanwhile, the cases offer a nice way to carry your laptop with some GoPro gear, but I would happily swap these for a lower price. The Asus ProArt PX13 GoPro Edition isn’t without other flaws.

EN→DEMy enthusiasm for the ASUS ProArt GoPro Edition (PX13 | HN7306) steadily grew over the course of my time with it. I went into testing this laptop with a healthy dose of skepticism; ASUS ProArt products are generally very good (I own and use a ProArt laptop myself), but the PX13 kept delivering new and welcome surprises at every turn. I initially believed that the steep price tag of the ProArt GoPro Edition might be too bitter a pill to overcome, but came away with the impression of a device that's worth what it costs. Thanks to a powerful processor and 128GB of unified memory, it's able to handle shockingly demanding processes, such as the fluid editing of 8K 360 video. The only serious downside here is that it runs Windows 11, but that's a complaint I'd level against most modern laptops. I would also appreciate a few design tweaks to make the laptop even more rugged. Overall though, the PX13 is one of the most well rounded devices I've tested, and it jives really nicely with the GoPro branding. I certainly appreciate the included accessories, and one might look at the ProArt GoPro Edition as a natural companion to a GoPro Max 2, or one of GoPro's enticing new cameras which they've been teasing. The ASUS ProArt GoPro Edition (PX13 | HN7306) is without a doubt the most versatile laptop I've ever used. It's available on ASUS's online store for $2,999.

EN→DEThe ASUS ProArt GoPro Edition PX13 builds on a solid foundation and pushes it further with a meaningful performance upgrade. The introduction of AMD's Ryzen AI Max+ 395 brings a massive jump in compute performance, significantly stronger integrated graphics, and capable AI acceleration, all within a compact and versatile 13-inch form factor. Add to that the colour-accurate 3K OLED display, flexible 360-degree hinge design, and thoughtful creator-centric features like the DialPad and stylus support, and the PX13 continues to stand out as a highly portable yet powerful machine for content creators. However, there are some compromises. The 60Hz panel feels limited at this price point, the webcam quality is below average, and battery life, while decent, doesn't quite match the efficiency of competing platforms. The lack of a full-size SD card slot may also be a concern for some professional users. At a steep asking price of Rs 3,34,990, the ProArt GoPro Edition PX13 clearly sits in the premium segment. It's not a device for everyone, but for creators who specifically need a compact, versatile machine with strong CPU performance, capable graphics, and a large pool of unified memory. For what it's worth, it offers a unique combination that's hard to find elsewhere.

EN→DEThe choices Asus and GoPro have made for the PX13 GoPro edition make a lot of sense if you’re building a mobile workstation for photo and video editing. The enormous amount of RAM, backed by strong CPU and GPU performance, makes it a smooth and responsive laptop to use in editing apps, and also as a general-purpose PC for whatever else you need to do. The high level of connectivity means you can set it up with external SSDs and monitors at the heart of a desktop setup only to whip it away when you need to head into the field for filming, and there's real value in that. The major downside of the PX13 GoPro Edition is its high price, though this has become par for the course for highly specced laptops, especially those with so much RAM.

EN→DEOverall, I've had a really great time using the Asus ProArt GoPro Edition (PX13) as my daily laptop over the past month. Thanks to the stacked hardware inside, I didn't miss my MacBook Pro at all, and that 128GB of RAM is simply incredible for multitasking, creative apps, and even gaming. That said, the price tag is the real elephant in the room. At $3,000, it's asking a lot. While the hardware backs it up, it's hard not to compare it to something like the 14-inch M5 Pro MacBook Pro with 2TB of storage and 48GB of RAM, which you can get for $3,000 instead. Still, if you're a creator who prefers Windows to macOS and want a portable, sleek, durable, and seriously powerful Windows laptop -- and you can justify the $3,000 price tag -- the Asus ProArt GoPro Edition (PX13) won't disappoint.

EN→DEThis is a laptop built for creators, so I tried to use it like your typical GoPro jockey. I had extra footage from amongst the many cameras in the Gizmodo office. I spooled back through current and previous historical fencing sparring matches and crafted a few clips for my friends’ social media accounts. The laptop tended to go from 100% to 50% in about 1.5 hours of editing video. This was on the maximum brightness setting (because without a bright screen I could barely make out the footage in a dark room). The laptop tends to lose juice rather quickly on standby power. A full 24 hours after shutting the laptop lid after a video editing stint, the ProArt PX13 lost a full 10% while in the carrying bag.

It’s a sleek, stylish laptop that achieves a feeling like it's worth the lofty price tag attached to it. EN→DEASUS is one of the few PC manufacturers trying to compete with Apple in the creator market, and with the ProArt GoPro Edition laptop, it has largely succeeded. This model offers excellent performance and battery life, a huge amount of memory, a very nice OLED HDR display, a nice range of ports and an excellent keyboard and trackpad. EN→DEThe ProArt GoPro Edition PX13 is a very capable and compact machine for creatives with a beefy Strix Halo chip, a dazzling OLED screen and a feature-rich set of ports. Its build quality is excellent, while the subtle GoPro nods are a pleasant touch. Just watch out for its dear cost, plus the okay battery life against rivals. The likes of the Samsung Galaxy Book6 Pro may not have as much raw grunt with its Intel Panther Lake chip inside, and its port selection isn’t quite as strong, but it provides an extra three inches of screen real estate, a 120Hz OLED screen and much stronger battery life for nearly £1000 less. EN→DEAs a side note, there’s another update of this series ready for 2026, with the TUF A14 FA401G refresh that bundles an updated Ryzen AI Series platform with up to an RTX 5060 115W (with 130W total sustained power in Manual mode). This is going to hold an edge in GPU loads and especially in games where DLSS 4.0 can play an important role, as it is somehow a higher power implementation than the 2025 A14 models. But this is going to run warmer and louder (45-48 dBA at full blast), even if the power increase might also come with an updated thermal module, perhaps.
