Perhaps the tie-breaker for Lenovo is the Pen and multimode display action from the Yoga family. Converting this computer into a high-performance tablet with a pen could be a decisive advantage for Creative users. The Lenovo Yoga 9i is probably the fastest convertible 15.6-inch laptop.

On the less positive side, the design is a bit dull, and I would expect more ports on a laptop this size. Like all 15-inch convertibles, it's somewhat bulky and awkward, but that is the nature of the beast, and it's useful enough for displaying a movie or presentation in various setups. It may not be a machine you'll run out and tell your friends about in excitement, but it plays its role well.

The aluminum-clad Yoga 9i replaces the Yoga C940, and the 15” is a powerful 2-in-1 laptop with entry level gaming specs. It has a Wacom AES active pen in a silo on the laptop’s side, and is available with HDR 400 full HD and 4K displays. The laptop has a fingerprint scanner, webcam privacy shutter, backlit keyboard and Wi-Fi 6.

Intel’s EVO spec push has made an already nice laptop from Lenovo, that much nicer. There weren’t huge leaps in performance and Lenovo seemingly played it safe with a design framework that’s a proven commodity in the latest of its Yoga 900 series. For anyone in the market for a new laptop, there aren’t many other choices that top this year’s offering from Lenovo. I would also recommend getting the black leather option of the 14-inch if available because it just looks amazingly different in a sea of slate grey laptops.

If you've been on the fence about getting a two-in-one or sticking with a traditional clamshell laptop, the 15.6-inch Lenovo Yoga 9i strikes a happy medium. Also, thanks to its discrete graphics, it's an excellent compromise for those who want something that's a productivity and entertainment machine that also includes PC gaming.

It's not the prettiest laptop I've seen by a long stretch, and as always, I wish there was 4G LTE and an IR camera, but as I mentioned, I was able to use the Lenovo Yoga 9i 15 for anything I wanted to. That goes for video editing and gaming to work and consumption.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Mobile: Mid-Range Notebook-Grafikkarte basierend auf der Desktop GTX 1650 Ti mit Turing Architektur. Bietet keine Raytracing und Tensor-Kerne im Gegensatz zu den stärkeren RTX 2000 Modellen. Es sind anscheinend verschiedenste Versionen mit unterschiedlichen Taktraten und Spezifikationen erhältlich, die sich bei der Performance deutlich unterscheiden können.

Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.
