Der Einstiegspreis von 199 Euro war für das Vivo Y20s klar zu hoch. Der Preis ist mittlerweile um mehr als ein Drittel gefallen und drücken wir es diplomatisch aus: In diesem Preisbereich nimmt man gewisse Kompromisse bereitwilliger hin. Muss man aber nicht, denn auch um 150 Euro gibt es Smartphones, die mit aktuelleren Komponenten daherkommen.

Das vivo Y20s ist ein sauber verarbeitetes Smartphone mit einer schönen Displaygröße und einem großen Akku. Allerdings wird dieser mit einem veralteten MicroUSB-Anschluss aufgeladen. Auch die Auflösung des Displays lässt keine Freudensprünge zu. Einzelne Pixel sind erkennbar.

Its performance is what you would expect for an entry-level phone, and for sure, it will be priced as such. However, we still find the micro USB port and the 720p video playback resolution to be a bummer. If you can live with its limitations, then we can say that Vivo Y20s [G] is still a great phone for you.

Qualcomm Adreno 610: Grafikchip für Smartphones und Tablets, integriert im Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC. Die Performance ist vergleichbar mit dem alten Adreno 512 und daher in der unteren Mittelklasse.

Diese Karten können nur sehr alte und sehr anspruchslose 3D Spiele flüssig darstellen.  Anwendungen wie Office, Internet surfen, Bildbearbeitung oder (SD) Videoschnitt sind jedoch ohne große Einschränkungen möglich.
