Das neue Nokia 3.4 bietet zum Teil ordentliche Komponenten und gute Funktionalität zu einem sehr günstigen Preis, was man von dieser Reihe gewöhnt ist. Nokia-3-Geräte waren schon immer schicke und günstige Smartphones, angefangen beim ursprünglichen Nokia 3, das vom Design her an das ikonische Lumia 925 erinnerte. Das neue Nokia 3.4 ist in wunderschönen Farben erhältlich, das gut aussehende Gehäuse hat einen Metall-Rahmen und ein Display mit Kamera-Aussparung, wodurch die Vorderseite viel attraktiver erscheint.
Im Inneren des Nokia 3.4 steckt ein Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 Chipsatz. Dieser Prozessor integriert eine Adreno 610 GPU und umfasst ein X11-LTE-Modem, das Cat-13-Uplink und Cat-12-Downlink unterstützt. Es handelt sich natürlich nicht um den besten Prozessor, in dieser Preisklasse ist das aber verständlich.
Das Nokia 3.4 hat ein 6,39-Zoll-Display mit HD+-Auflösung. Das offizielle Datenblatt erwähnt eine Helligkeit von 400 nits, was recht durchschnittlich ist. All das wird von einem 4.000-mAh-Akku angetrieben, der dank des effizienten 11nm-SoC und HD+-Bildschirmes lange halten sollte. Per USB-Typ-C-Anschluss, der sich auf der Unterseite des Smartphones befindet, kann der Akku mit 10 W geladen werden.
Auf der Rückseite befindet sich die dreifache Kamera-Aufstellung, die aus einer 13-MP-Kamera, einem 5-MP-Ultra-Weitwinkelsensor, und einer 2-MP-Linse für Tiefenschärfe besteht. Unterhalb des Kamera-Ringes befinden sich ein Fingerabdruck-Leser und das vertikale Nokia-Logo. Zum Fingerabdruck-Leser gesellen sich noch biometrische Gesichts-Erkennung und eine Taste für Google-Assistant. Das Betriebssystem beruht standardmäßig auf Android 10.
Zudem gibt es drei Varianten dieses Smartphones: eine mit 3 GB Arbeitsspeicher und 32 GB Speicherplatz, eine mit 3 GB Arbeitsspeicher und 64 GB Speicherplatz, und das beste Modell mit 4 GB Arbeitsspeicher und 64 GB Speicherplatz. Auch in Sachen Farbe gibt es drei Optionen, nämlich Fjord mit Blautönen, Dusk mit Lila-Tönen, und Charcoal mit Schwarztönen. Insgesamt ist das Nokia 3.4 ein günstiges Smartphone, das einen Blick wert ist. Die Wahl häng aber natürlich von den Vorlieben und Bedürfnissen des Nutzers ab.

Qualcomm Adreno 610: Grafikchip für Smartphones und Tablets, integriert im Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC. Die Performance ist vergleichbar mit dem alten Adreno 512 und daher in der unteren Mittelklasse.
Diese Karten können nur sehr alte und sehr anspruchslose 3D Spiele flüssig darstellen. Anwendungen wie Office, Internet surfen, Bildbearbeitung oder (SD) Videoschnitt sind jedoch ohne große Einschränkungen möglich.

SD 460: Unterer Mittelklasse Octa-Core mit vier schnellen ARM Cortex-A73 Kernen und vier kleinen Cortex-A53 Kerne. Alle können mit maximal 1,8 GHz getaktet werden.
