EN→DEOverall, using the Asus ROG Flow Z13 has been an exceptional experience; however, there are a few flaws here that prevent this gaming laptop/tablet hybrid from achieving a perfect score. While you get over 60fps in most games, even when playing with 'Ultra' graphics settings, at this price point you can pick up standard gaming laptops that provide better performance. However, there's no denying that this is a very sleek device for easy on-the-go gaming. It’s lightweight, stays cool and quiet, and is extremely portable thanks to its compact design.

EN→DEThe ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is two things in one: a solid Windows tablet, and a showcase for AMD’s groundbreaking Ryzen AI Max 390 chip. Let’s be honest: the tablet itself is impressive but not life-changing. The keyboard could be better, the sound could be louder, and the touchpad isn’t exactly elite. But the chip inside? That’s the story. You’re looking at desktop-grade gaming performance from an integrated chip running under 85°C and sipping just 70W. This is the future of thin-and-light gaming, perfect for the next Zephyrus G16, or even a handheld console. Ironically, the only thing holding it back is the fact that it’s in a tablet. But maybe that’s the charm, and the challenge, of the Z13. Either way, AMD’s APU has just redrawn the roadmap for laptop gaming.

EN→DEOverall, after my time with the ROG Flow Z13, I think I'm over the whole Surface form factor. I've been an avid fan of the 2-in-1 convertible with detachable keyboard pretty much since Microsoft debuted it on the original Surface, but since then, especially as I travel more, I've come to realize that while this form factor has its place — content consumption, artists, and those who sit at a desk more often than not — it's not really for me. I won't let that cloud my judgement — I'm not everyone after all — but if you find yourself in a similar boat, the Flow will not change your mind. As for the overall verdict, the two main issues I have with the laptop are probably the same as many would have with this gaming laptop — heft and power.

EN→DEOverall, I really enjoyed my time with the ROG Flow Z13 gaming tablet. It has a great form factor, long battery life, and amazing performance all in a very compact package. There are no heating issues too, and if you're someone who loves drawing and gaming, this is indeed a perfect compromise. However, there's just one thing that bothers me about it. During my time with it, I used it mainly like a laptop rather than a tablet. Instead, I think of this more as a laptop with a detachable keyboard and a touchscreen rather than a tablet. Then there's the price - PHP 175,995. That is a lot of money for a tablet that you'll probably use similar to a laptop. At that price, you could get yourself a more powerful 14-inch gaming laptop possibly with an OLED display.

EN→DEFor go-anywhere gaming with very little compromise, the Asus ROG Z13 Flow is seemingly in a class of one. Stick one of these in your backpack with a gaming mouse or controller and it really can do it all, as long as you aren’t fussed about ray tracing. Even the latest titles run smoothly at high details and native resolution, yet it can be quiet and long-lasting when the GPU is put to bed in favour of desktop working. The form factor won’t be for everyone. More traditional gaming laptops might not have the battery life of the Asus, but they deliver the same (or better) performance for less cash. Many also have nicer OLED screens, and better connectivity. The price disparity is even bigger once you factor in the optional yet eye-wateringly expensive XG Mobile external GPU. And yet its sheer flexibility should still mean frequent flyers can justify the outlay.
