Overall, the ASUS Zenbook A14 is a very sleek and minimal looking laptop, especially in this Zabriskie Beige color. The weight is also insanely light (thanks to the company’s Ceraluminum material) that you almost feel you’re holding nothing, it’s so light. The branding on the top lid is clean and simple, it’s just a very nice design and ultraportable thanks to the weight. The keyboard and trackpad are great, and the (non-touch) OLED display looks really nice. This is really an excellent package for most basic users who want an ultraportable and beautiful-looking laptop. The price is a bit higher or about the same as some of the competition with better performance, though. So shop around if you’re in the need of capabilities that ARM processors do not offer.

The Zenbook A14 kind of grew on me the more I used it. At first, it just felt kind of weird, with a surface that wasn’t quick like plastic but wasn’t quite like metal, either. But the more I handled it, the more I liked it. All the work Asus put into its Ceraluminum material wasn’t wasted. I wish the hinge was tighter, but that wasn’t at all a dealbreaker for me. And I love that even though it’s very light, it still got class-leading battery life with solid productivity performance. It’s right up there with the MacBook Air 13 (M4), which is saying something. If you’re looking for a 14-inch laptop that you don’t need for gaming or video editing, then you really need to give the Zenbook A14 some serious consideration.

Qualcomm Adreno X1-45 1.7 TFLOPS: Die Qualcomm Snapdragon X Adreno X1-45 ist die schwächste GPU in the Snapdragon X Plus SoCs mit nur 1,7 statt 3,8 TFLOPS an Leistung. Wahrscheinlich wird dies durch weniger Taktraten und / oder weniger Kerne erreicht.

Durch aktuell eingeschränkten Treibersupport und Spieleunterstüztung ist die 3D-Leistung und Kompabilität in Spielen jedoch nicht vergleichbar mit Nvidia und AMD iGPUs.

Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.

SD X Plus X1P-42-100: Der Snapdragon X Plus 8-Kern X1P-42-100 ist der schwächste Einstiegsprozessor der X Serie mit nur 8 Oryon CPU Kernen die mit bis zu 3,4 GHz takten.
