EN→DEGiven the Porsche Design hardware elements along with the Honor brand software and performance, this device is very clearly made for users in search of a uniquely memorable experience. You're still using an Android smartphone, at its core, but this is a different smartphone with features that are well worth their salt. Again, this device is not directly available for purchase inside the United States. If you find a way to have it shipped to you in the United States, take care to ask your chosen mobile data provider if the device will work with their specific radio bands — chances are it might, but that it's certainly not guaranteed. If you live outside the United States, to purchase this device you're going to either buy it from Honor's online store (according to your region) to head over to the Porsche Lifestyle GmbH & Co. KG online store.

EN→DEWhen I tested the Honor Magic 6 RSR last year, I said that although it’s wildly expensive, it justifies its price well, and this time around, I feel exactly the same way. I have loved using the Magic 7 RSR, and there’s not a single area where it feels like it’s falling short. In fact, I’d go a step further, because this time there’s a tangible benefit to choosing this phone over the Pro – the telephoto camera. It’s noticeably better on this phone, especially if you shoot in low light or like to take telemacro shots. There are plenty of incredible phones available at this price (and much lower too) but if you really need 1TB of storage, the Magic 7 RSR suddenly seems like a decent value. It’s the exact same price as the 1TB S25 Ultra, but you get a lovely premium case and two 100W chargers in the box, whereas Samsung only gives you a cable.

EN→DEI didn’t anticipate being sold on the Magic 7 RSR when I first used it. I’ve used and reviewed a number of past Porsche Design special edition phones, and they’ve always been pricier without any real experience upgrades. The 7 Pro RSR, however, is different. I found myself using the telephoto camera with its large 1/1.4-inch sensor and class-leading f/1.88 aperture most of the time, especially for food, people, and product shots, something I couldn’t do on a Pixel or iPhone. I also charged it very sporadically and never beyond 80 percent as I wasn’t worried about it not making it through a day, which wasn’t the case with the standard Magic 7 Pro.

EN→DEThe HONOR Magic7 RSR Porsche Design is a very pricey phone. There’s no getting away from that. At €1,799, not many people will consider it. That’s the price tag for flagship book-style foldables, some of them. Still, if you really want a phone from HONOR, and want something that will stand out, something that probably nobody else you know will have… the HONOR Magic7 RSR Porsche Design has you covered. You’ll get a great display, really nice design, outstanding performance, and also great battery life… not to mention really compelling cameras too. There’s a lot to like when it comes to this phone, that’s for sure.

EN→DEThe Honor Magic7 RSR Porsche Design launches at €1,799 (£1,549 in the UK) for the 24GB/1TB version, which is a hefty price tag for sure. Then again, this is cheaper than the 1TB versions of the iPhone 16 Pro Max and the Galaxy S25 Ultra, so it's all relative. The Honor Magic7 RSR Porsche Design is great at everything important - screen, battery life, charging speed, speakers, performance, camera, and connectivity. It may not be as competitive as the industry darlings from Samsung and Apple, but if you value its premium market positioning and exclusive features, the Magic7 RSR is worth considering.

The Honor Magic 7 Pro Porsche Design Edition is the company's most premium slab phone, and it comes with a very nice retail package. In this video, I'm going to do an unboxing plus a quick overview of what's new, along with looking at some camera samples.

EN→DEThe Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design smartphone provides everything that a flagship phone should and then some more. For starters, it has an incredible design and build quality, which lives up to the name of the smartphone. The display is equally impressive with great color reproduction and extremely high brightness. Essentially, you will have an amazing viewing experience on this screen. The phone also has a decent Android chipset and will run every game at the highest graphical fidelity. The battery and charging speeds are also equally impressive. However, the best part of this phone is its camera performance, which is extremely good and can go toe to toe with the likes of Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. On top of these things, the Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design’s 5G performance is extremely good.
