The handset – if I can call it that – features a massive 6.8-inch display. As well as being a full 1.6-inches biggest than its smaller, flagship sibling, the Huawei P8, the Max is just 0.2 of an inch off lining up as a direct Nexus 7 rival.

As you can probably guess from the name, the P8max is a larger version of the P8 flagship handset but when we say larger, we mean huge. It features a 6.8-inch display meaning it really is questionable whether it falls into the smartphone category at all or whether we should have tagged it as a tablet instead, but Huawei is calling it a phone, so under phone it goes (for now).

Modell: Das Huawei P8max ist eine größere Version des Huawei P8 Flagschiff-Smartphones. Das Modell verfügt über einen massiven 6,8-Zoll-Bildschirm mit einer Auflösung von 1920x1080, der durch Corning Gorilla Glass 3 geschützt wird. Mit dieser Größe kann es schwierig sein, das Gerät in manche Taschen unterzubringen. In puncto Ästhetik ist das Handy mit nahtlosem Design gut verarbeitet. Es ist in drei Farben erhältlich: gold, champagner und grau. Bei einer Bauhöhe von 6,8 mm wiegt das P8max nur 228 g. Es verfügt über einen 2.2 GHz quad core Cortex-A53 & a 1.5 GHz quad core Cortex-A53, 3 GB RAM und 64 GB internem Speicher. Mit einer microSD-Karte kann die Speicherkapazität um bis zu 128 GB erweitert werden.
Die 13-MP-Kamera an der Rückseite kann mit bis zu 4160 x 3120 Pixel aufnehmen und verfügt über Autofokus und einen Dual-Ton-Blitz. Zudem gibt es eine 5-MP-Frontkamera für Selfies. Das P8 Max läuft unter Android OS v5.0.2 (Lollipop). Ein Schüsselmerkmal dieses Smartphones ist Dual-SIM-Fähigkeit mit Dual-Standby. Schließlich hält der 4360-mAh-Akku laut Herstellerangabe bei Videowiedergabe bis zu 10 Stunden durch. Insgesamt ist das Huawei P8max ein vielseitiges Gerät für User, die einen großem Bildschirm wollen.
