The LG Gram Pro 16 is an excellent Windows ultrabook thanks to its wonderful portability, solid power and fantastic endurance against key rivals. The high-res IPS screen is good too, as is its wide port selection. Just watch out for its rather high price tag. With this in mind, for a similar price, the Asus Zenbook S 16 (2024) offers more power and a gorgeous frame, as well as an OLED screen, for around the same kind of money, at the expense of less battery life. LG: LG Electronics Inc. ist ein Tochterunternehmen der LG Group. Es ist ein Unternehmen aus Südkorea und wurde als Goldstar Co., Ltd., 1958 gegründet. Der Konzern bietet Produkte aus den Bereichen Informationstechnik, Unterhaltungselektronik und Mobilfunk sowie Haushaltsgeräte an. LG Electronics ist weltweit der drittgrößte Haushaltsgerätehersteller. Als Notebook-Hersteller wurde LG erst 2005 am deutschsprachigen Markt einem breiteren Publikum bekannt. Nach ein paar Jahren zog sich LG großteils aus dem Laptop-Bereich zurück. Das Produktspektrum umfasst unter anderem OLED, LED/LCD- und Plasma-Fernseher, Heimkinosysteme, Blu-ray-Player sowie Audio- und Video-Player. 

Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 4GB Laptop GPU: Mobile Gaming-Grafikkarte die wahrscheinlich auf den GA107 Chip basiert. Bietet 2048 GPU Kerne und ist in verschiedenen TGP Varianten von 35 - 80 Watt erhältlich. Je nach Variante kann die Leistung deutlich variieren, da auch die Taktraten unterschiedlich ausfallen. Ältere Version mit 4 GB VRAM.

Intel Arc 8-Core: Integrierte Grafikkarte basierend auf die Xe LPG Architektur (ähnlich zu den dedizierten Arc GPUs, jedoch mit Fokus auf Effizienz). Bietet alle 8 Xe Kerne (128 Xe Vector Engines) und 8 Raytracing Einheiten.

Intel Arc 140V: Schnelle integrierte Grafikkarte, die in den schnelleren Intel Lunar Lake Prozessoren zum Einsatz kommt. Die 140V verfügt über 8 Xe²-Architekturkerne (Battlemage), die mit bis zu 2.050 MHz laufen, und 8 Raytracing-Einheiten. Sie ist DirectX 12 Ultimate-fähig und unterstützt alle modernen Video-Codecs.

Ultra 7 155H: Auf der Meteor-Lake-Architektur basierender High-End Mobilprozessor. Bietet 6 Performance-Kerne mit bis zu 4,8 GHz und 8+2 Effizienzkerne mit bis zu 3,8 GHz und kann 22 Threads gleichzeitig bearbeiten.

Intel Lunar Lake: Launching in September 2024 with Xe2 graphics and few CPU cores.

Core Ultra 7 256V: Eine obere Mittelklasse der Lunar Lake Familie Prozessor. Dabei handelt es sich um ein SoC für den Einsatz in Laptops und Tablets der schlankeren Art, das über 4 neue E-Kerne und 4 neue P-Kerne mit bis zu 4,8 GHz verfügt, zusammen mit der vielversprechenden neuen Arc 140V iGPU und 16 GB integriertem LPDDR5x-8533 RAM. Ultra 7 255H: Auf der Arrow-Lake-Architektur basierender High-End Mobilprozessor mit 16 Kernen aufgeteilt in 3 Cluster. Die schnellen 6 P-Kerne takten mit bis zu 5,1 GHz. 16.00: Dieser Bereich für Displayformate war und ist eine Seltenheit. Es ist größer als der allgemeine Standard von 15 Zoll, aber noch nicht im Bereich der großen Workstations. Man hat üblicherweise höhere Bildschirmauflösungen zur Verfügung, darunter leidet aber auch die Portabilität.
