EN→DEThe Motorola company is resuming active work in Ukraine, gradually expanding its line of smartphones, one of the latest additions of which was the Moto G72. The model offers a lot of interesting things for a relatively affordable price tag, so let’s see if it can renew the interest of buyers in the once-legendary series of smartphones.

EN→DEThe Moto G72 makes a pretty compelling case for itself. It's got a display that wouldn't be out of place on the phone twice its price; it has battery life to spare, charges quickly and takes solid pictures for its class. The lightweight body is a strong selling point, too, as is the audio package. And Motorola's software package that marries a Pixel look with extra in-house features is easy to like. Less exciting is the dated OS version, and the planned Android 13 update can't come soon enough. It's not going to bring 4K video recording or 5G connectivity, though, so if either is important for you, the Moto G72 is obviously a no-go. If, however, you're not big on video capture and you can leave the next-gen connectivity for your next phone, this Moto has a lot going for it.

EN→DEMotorola Moto G72 is a successful mid-range smartphone. Excellent screen, good performance and energy efficiency, juicy photos, stereo speakers, headphone jack, good battery life, and high build quality. Of course, there are some downsides: the lack of a 5G module, weak auxiliary camera modules, and only 30W charging. But these are small things, and the main feature for me is pure Android with useful features from Motorola. I can recommend this smartphone!

EN→DEThat being said, the phone comes with a huge asterisk -- lack of 5G support. The Moto G72 is the only phone in the company's portfolio of phones priced above Rs. 15,000 to not offer 5G network support. Those who want 5G support will obviously have to look at something like the Moto G82 5G (Review) for a couple of thousand rupees more. The latter offers better performance, the same multimedia experience, and all-day battery life while staying future-proof with 5G network support. Alternatively, if you want a no-compromise budget smartphone and don't want to jump on the 5G bandwagon, then the Moto G72 could certainly be considered. If near-stock Android experience is not your priority and you want to consider other options, you can check the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G (Review) or even the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G (Review).

EN→DEAfter going through all of the sections of the Motorola Moto G72 smartphone, we conclude that this phone is precisely tailored for the mid-range market. It might have some downsides, but those factors can be overlooked once if you are looking for a value-for-money deal. Generally speaking, if you live in metropolitan cities or you don’t want to compromise on features in your budget range, then the Moto G72 is an incredible deal. However, if you can’t overlook the 5G support, then we recommend you check out the Poco X4 Pro as an alternative option. But on the other hand, 5G connectivity only improves internet speed. Yet, the Motorola Moto G72 still looking for a tempting deal according to the 2022 standard. However, make the final call according to your requirements.

EN→DEI think that the Moto G72 is a device that should be considered for an optimal viewing and software experience. The phone also has the added advantage of clicking more than decent pictures irrespective of the lighting conditions. While the G72’s performance is not best suited for heavy-duty gaming, regular smartphone usage remains optimal. In addition to that, the phone also boasts a good battery life and acceptable charging speeds. All things considered, the Moto G72 could have the potential to be your choice under Rs 20,000.

These include the Redmi Note 11 Pro, Realme 9 Pro 5G, iQOO Z6 5G, OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G, etc. While most phones in this segment offer 5G network support at the cost of a higher price tag or compromised specifications, the Moto G72 ditches 5G in order to offer a good all-round experience. Should you consider buying this one over any other 5G smartphone under Rs. 20,000? Stay tuned for our full review of the Moto G72, coming soon on Gadgets 360.
