Der AMD Ryzen 9 5980HS ist ein Mobilprozessor für große Notebooks (z.B. Gaming Laptops) basierend auf die Cezanne Generation. Der SoC beinhaltet acht Zen 3 Kerne (Octa-Core CPU) welche mit bis zu 4,8 GHz getaktet werden (Turbo) und SMT / Hyperthreading (16 Threads) unterstützen. Der Chip wird im modernen 7nm Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt und soll Anfang 2021 vorgestellt werden. Die HS-Version ist im Vergleich zum normalen 5900HX (35-52 W) auf 35 Watt TDP limitiert.

Die neue Zen 3 Microarchitektur bringt im Desktop laut AMD eine um 19% höhere IPC (Instructions per Clock) Performance. In Anwendungs-Tests bei gleichem Takt waren es meist gegen 12%, bei Spielen noch deutlich mehr. 

Der SoC integriert neben den acht Prozessorkernen noch eine Radeon RX Vega 8 Grafikkarte mit 8 CUs und bis zu 2000? MHz Takt, einen Dual-Channel DDR4-3200 / LPDDR4-4200 Speicherkontroller und 16 MB Level 3 Cache. 

Der TDP ist beim HS auf 35 Watt spezifiziert (5900HX bis zu 54 Watt).

Der AMD Ryzen 7 5600H ist ein Mobilprozessor für große Notebooks (z.B. Gaming Laptops) basierend auf die Cezanne Generation. Der SoC beinhaltet sechs Zen 3 Kerne (Hexa-Core CPU) welche mit bis zu 4,2 GHz getaktet werden (Turbo) und SMT / Hyperthreading (12 Threads) unterstützen. Der Chip wird im modernen 7nm Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt und soll Anfang 2021 vorgestellt werden.

Der TDP ist weiterhin von 35 - 54 Watt konfigurierbar (45 Watt Standard).
