Das Toshiba Satellite Pro T130 überzeugt durch seine langen Akku-Laufzeiten. Da es dennoch eine angemessene Performance bietet, eignet es sich gut für einen ganzen Arbeitstag ohne adäquate Stromversorgung. Bei Verarbeitung und insbesondere in Sachen Tastatur kann das 13-Zoll-Gerät ebenfalls überzeugen. Verpackt hat Toshiba das Ganze in ein attraktives Chassis, das aber alle Hochglanz-Nachteile mit sich bringt. Das kontrastarme, spiegelnde Display trübt das ansonsten gute Gesamtbild.

The lack of an optical drive will be a deal-breaker for many. Don't expect higher end specs for the entry level price, and take that battery life estimate with a pinch of salt. Even with these caveats, though, we think the Satellite Pro T130 is a nice little computer.

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 4500MHD: Im GM45, GS45 und GE45 Chipsatz (Montevina Plattform) integrierte shared Memory Grafikkarte von Intel. Durch höhere Taktung und mehr Shader ist sie deutlich schneller als die X3100, jedoch immer noch nicht für Spieler empfehlenswert. Kann HD-Videos (AVC/VC2/MPEG2) dekodieren und so die CPU entlasten.
Diese Karten können nur sehr alte und sehr anspruchslose 3D Spiele flüssig darstellen. Anwendungen wie Office, Internet surfen, Bildbearbeitung oder (SD) Videoschnitt sind jedoch ohne große Einschränkungen möglich.
