UMI Plus
Unter den vielen preisgünstigen Smartphones befindet sich eines, das sich von den Konkurrenten abhebt, nämlich das UMI Plus. Es handelt sich um ein gut gemachtes Unibody-Phone aus hochwertiger Aluminium-Legierung mit einer schönen 3D-Politur. Sein großes Bildschirm-zu-Körper-Verhältnis mit einem 5.5” Sharp HD 1080p Display rühmt sich der guten Lesbarkeit im Sonnenlicht dank Echtzeit-Kontrastanpassung. Um den guten Bildschirm zu ergänzen wird das Phone durch einen Helio-P10 Prozessor und eine Mali-T680 GPU angetrieben mit optimaler Energie-Ausgewogenheit zwischen Leistung und Standby. 4 GB RAM und 32 GB interner Speicher runden die Spezifikation ab. Zudem kann die Speicherkapazität um bis zu 256 GB erweitert werden. Dank des großen Speichers kommt das Smartphone gut mit leistungsfordernden Aufgaben wie Gaming und High-Definition-Videos zurecht. Da für die meisten User die Kamera ein wichtiges Merkmal ist, konzentriert sich das UMI Plus ziemlich darauf. Es verfügt über eine Samsung Phase Detection Autofokus-Kamera mit 13 MP Sensor, welche hochwertige Bilder ohne Auslöseverzögerung in nur 0,1 s aufnehmen kann. Dies sorgt dafür, dass die aufgenommen Bilder weniger Rauschen zeigen und dank Dual Processing ISP auch einen dynamischen Farbbereich haben. Das UMI Plus nutzt einen 4000 mAh Akku, der von Sony hergestellt wurde, um das Smartphone mit Strom zu versorgen und unterstützt Quick Charge PE+ für schnelles Aufladen. Bei typischer Nutzung hält das Phone 2 Tage durch, bei anspruchsvolleren Anwendungen wie Gaming schafft es mit einer einzigen Ladung zirka 15 Stunden. Wenn der Strom ausgeht, kann das Phone in 30 Minuten für eine Tagesverwendung und in zirka eineinhalb Stunden gänzlich aufgeladen werden. In puncto Sicherheit bietet das Phone einen Fingerabdruckleser am Home-Button, der das Phone fast unmittelbar gänzlich entsperren kann und es nutzt ein eigenes Verschlüsselungssystem als Sicherheitsmechanismus, um Manipulation zu vermeiden. Erkennung von bis zu 5 Fingern erleichtert dem Nutzer eine beidhändige Nutzung. Das Phone läuft unter Android Marshmallow mit reiner Android-Erfahrung, was kontinuierliche Updates von Goole sicherstellt. Obwohl es sich um ein älteres Build von Android handelt, läuft es flüssig und das Wechseln zwischen Anwendungen funktioniert gut. Zudem treten weniger Verzögerungen auf als bei aktuellen Android-Versionen. Bezüglich Schnittstellen nutzt das Phone VoLTE für High-Speed-Verbindungen und Unterstützung von zwei SIM-Karten erleichtert die Verwendung.
