EN→DEThe Toshiba Satellite P775-S7215 is a great multimedia laptop with a lot of connectivity options, like WiDi 2.0 and WiMAX. Even its inclusion of Blu-ray will delight video enthusiast. It would have been nice, however, if Toshiba had included a bigger battery with the laptop. It may not be able to overthrow the HP dv7-6143cl as Editors' Choice, but if you're looking for a laptop with Blu-ray and you're not a huge gamer, then the P775-S 7215 can provide.

EN→DEThe Satellite P775 is nice enough to look at if you favour boy-racer kit, and puts in a reasonable performance too. It's just not particularly exciting and - compared to the similarly specced yet faster Samsung RF711 - overpriced.

Das Toshiba Satellite P770-10P ist ein 17.3-Zoller mit Stärken bei Leistung (CPU, HDD), Energieverbrauch und Akustik. Die zahlreichen Schwächen stellen sich jedoch sofort hinten an und verhindern eine Wertung über 80%. Heißer Brillenträger. Mit dem Satellite P775-100 3D Vision bringt Toshiba ein weiteres 17-Zoll-Notebook heraus, das 3D-Feeling zu Hause möglich macht. Ausgestattet mit einer kraftvollen Intel-CPU und einer Nvidia Grafik kann das Notebook auch 2D-Material in 3D umrechnen - sichtbar jedoch nur mit Shutterbrille.

Schönes Notebook mit 3D-Funktionen, jedoch stellte sich uns die Frage: Warum immer noch mit Brille? Dass es auch ohne geht, hatte Toshiba schon vor der IFA gezeigt. Das P775-100 3D-Vision basiert zu fast 100 Prozent auf dem Modell P770-10P (ohne 3D-Funktionen), mit allen Vor- und Nachteilen.

Alles in allem kann das Toshiba Satellite P775-100 sehr gefallen. Ein umfangreiche Ausstattung und eine große Anschlussvielfalt lassen nichts missen. Die Anwendungsleistung ist erstklassig und die Festplatten schnell. Die Spieleleistung überzeugt ebenfalls – zumindest im 2D Modus. Das große 3D-Display ermöglicht einen sehr authentischen 3D-Effekt.

EN→DEThe Toshiba Satellite P775-S7320 is worth considering if you're in the market for a big screen laptop with Core i7 power and a Blu-ray player. Granted, the 17.3-inch display is nice, but it would be even nicer if it could display full-blown HD content at 1080p. Despite its less than stellar Photoshop score it has more than enough power to make short work of your productivity and multimedia workload, and a relatively light chassis makes it a bit more portable than most desktop replacements. That said, the P775-S7320 can't match the gaming prowess of our current Editors' Choice, the HP Pavilion dv7-6143cl, which offers a discrete graphics card and a whopping nine-hour battery life.

While it does drop the Blu-ray drive and quad core processor in favor of a dual core, the addition of a dedicated NVIDIA graphics processor boosts the overall capabilities of what the laptop can be used for.

Einige nicht anspruchsvolle aktuelle Spiele können mit geringen Details noch flüssig gespielt werden. Für Office und Video natürlich ausreichende Leistungsreserven.
Intel HD Graphics 3000: In Sandy Bridge Prozessoren (Core ix-2xxx) integrierte Grafikkarte von Intel. Stärkere GT2 genannte Version mit 12 Execution Units (EUs). Je nach Modell mit unterschiedlichen Taktraten (350-650MHz) und TurboBoost Unterstützung (900-1350MHz).
Intel HD Graphics (Sandy Bridge): In den Celeron und Pentium Sandy Bridge (2. Generation Core) integrierte Prozessorgrafik. Technisch eine Intel HD Graphics 2000 (in Desktop CPUs) mit geringeren Taktraten. Die namensgleiche HD Graphics der Arrandale Prozessoren ist nicht baugleich!
Diese Grafikkarten sollten alle modernen Spiele flüssig darstellen können. Anspruchsvolle Spiele müssen jedoch in mittlerer Detailstufe gespielt werden. Ältere und weniger anspruchsvolle Spiele wie die Sims Serie können auch in hohen Detailsstufen flüssig dargestellt werden.
NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M: Mittelklasse Grafikkarte basierend auf dem GT 435M Chip (GF108) jedoch mit minimal höheren Taktraten und Unterstützung für GDDR5 und DDR3 mit 900 MHz.
Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.
AMD Radeon HD 6620G: In AMD Lliano Prozessoren (z.B. A8-35xxM) integrierte Grafikkarte ohne eigenen Grafikspeicher.

17.3: 17 Zoll Displaygrösse ist ein seit 2006 häufig angebotenes Standardformat für Desktop-Replacements. Die DTR-Laptops sind schwerer zu tragen, brauchen mehr Strom, dafür sind Texte leicht lesbar und hohe Auflösungen kein Problem. DTR sind hauptsächlich für stationären Schreibtischeinsatz vorgesehen, wo Gewicht und Energiehunger egal sind.

Dieses Gewicht ist für Notebooks durchschnittlich. Daher passt vor allem die breite Masse der Laptops mit 15 Zoll Display in diese Gewichtsklasse.
3.15 kg:
70%: Diese Bewertung ist schlecht. Die meisten Notebooks werden besser beurteilt. Als Kaufempfehlung darf man das nicht sehen. Auch wenn Verbalbewertungen in diesem Bereich gar nicht so schlecht klingen ("genügend" oder "befriedigend"), meist sind es Euphemismen, die eine Klassifikation als unterdurchschnittliches Notebook verschleiern.
