Das MacBook Pro 13 ist mit 2000 g Gewicht noch gut tragbar, aber kein Leichtgewicht. Die Verarbeitung aus einem Block Aluminium sieht nicht nur hochwertig aus, sie ist es auch. Es klappert und verbiegt sich nichts. Das Displayscharnier hat den Bildschirm fest im Griff. Gegen MacBook Air und MacBook mit Retina Display wirkt das Pro hingegen inzwischen altbacken, was auch am Display mit seiner geringen Auflösung liegt.

When my esteemed colleague Dabbsie reviewed the 2011 model last November he bemoaned the MacBook’s high price but concluded that it was justified as this was ‘the best bloody entry-level laptop in the world’. This year’s model is just as good, but the Windows PC competition is now catching up and, at this price, it’s hard to argue that it’s still the best.

Intel HD Graphics 4000: In Ivy Bridge Prozessoren (3. Generation Core) integrierte Grafikkarte in höchster Ausbaustufe. Je nach Prozessor (ULV bis Desktop Quad-Core) unterschiedlich getaktet.
Einige nicht anspruchsvolle aktuelle Spiele können mit geringen Details noch flüssig gespielt werden. Für Office und Video natürlich ausreichende Leistungsreserven.
