EN→DEWith OxygenOS 16, OnePlus has made one of its most meaningful refinements in years. This update brings a sense of polish and practicality back to the software, blending speed and visual fluidity with AI-driven efficiency. The refreshed design language feels cohesive, the animations are smoother, and new smart features like AI Summarize, AI Writer, and AI Alert add value without feeling gimmicky. The ecosystem integrations – especially with the OnePlus Pad 3 – elevate the multitasking and continuity experience to a new level.Best smartphone The OnePlus Pad 3, on the other hand, is an absolute powerhouse that embodies OnePlus’ core philosophy – speed, simplicity, and smart performance.

EN→DEThe OnePlus Pad 3 succeeds by being remarkably well-balanced. It's not the cheapest Android tablet, nor the most feature-packed, but it hits that elusive sweet spot that few competitors manage. The performance is genuinely flagship-level, the display is excellent despite not being OLED, and the build quality feels appropriately premium for the price. The Rs 49,999 starting price is a significant jump from previous OnePlus tablets, and when you factor in essential accessories like the Smart Keyboard, you're looking at a nearly Rs 70,000 investment. That's real money that puts it in competition with some compelling alternatives from Samsung and other premium manufacturers. But for Android users who've been waiting for a tablet that doesn't force them to choose between quality and affordability, the Pad 3 delivers in ways that matter.

EN→DEIf you are in the market for a high-end tablet and want the most bang for your buck, then the OnePlus Pad 3 is a complete no-brainer. It is not perfect. The lack of a fingerprint scanner in this premium device is a total surprise – face unlock exists, but is not really secure. And there will be those who will be puzzled at the absence of a 5G variant, something that is becoming a bit of a given even in mid-segment tablets (the USD 175 Redmi Pad 2 comes with cellular connectivity). But even then, the spec sheet and overall performance of the OnePlus Pad 3 are unmatched not just at its price, but a comfortable Rs 10,000 – Rs 15,000 above it as well. It makes no sense to settle for any other tablet unless you are getting into iPad Air and Pro land…and perhaps not even then. And that perhaps sums it up best: OnePlus might have finally done what other brands have been unable to do: make an Android tablet that comfortably challenges Apple’s epic iPad series.

EN→DEWith a premium metal build, vibrant 13.2-inch display, and Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite power under the hood, OnePlus Pad 3 positions itself as a capable high-end Android tablet for both entertainment and work. Its software experience is equally polished, with OxygenOS offering fluid multitasking, and deep ecosystem integration that works well—especially if you're already invested in the OnePlus or OPPO ecosystem. Impressive battery life and fast charging round out the package nicely, even if the cameras remain average, and HDR support across apps feel inconsistent. For users seeking a powerful, well-built Android tablet with serious multitasking chops and thoughtful accessories, the OnePlus Pad 3 is one of the most well-rounded options in its price segment.

EN→DEThe OnePlus Pad 3 gets a lot of things right, and even exceeds expectations from the premium you are going to pay for it. The large 165Hz display is in a league of its own, and fits in fairly well with fantastic audio hardware. It also manages to impress with a large battery that supports segment-leading 80W fast charging, and well-executed thermal hardware that keeps it cool even when engaged in intense gaming sessions. OnePlus’ approach to the memory situation is also far more generous than Apple’s or Samsung’s. The Qualcomm silicon powering it is also top-tier and handles even the most demanding workflows with ease. Plus, that all-metal design is fairly well done, as well. Where it misses the mark is the inherent limitations of Android spanning a large canvas.

EN→DEWhere the OnePlus Pad 3 wins is in many areas, especially for that $700 price tag. A pleasing display, easy-to-navigate OS, speedy processing, excellent battery life, and decent tablet cameras are just some of the key features. Its faults are few (so-so speakers, only 3 years of OS updates, and no IP rating). If those things aren't a problem for you, this tablet is a great buy that'll feel value-packed for its price. As for performance compared to the iPad Pro, the OnePlus Pad 3 holds its own and could truly compete in terms of speed, battery life, and charging. The iPad Pro's OLED display still wins on contrast, color depth, and HDR performance. And, due to some creative app limitations on Android, professional content creators would probably prefer the iPad Pro. But for the cheaper price, you'd do well to pick up the OnePlus Pad 3 if content creation, the Apple ecosystem, and an OLED display don't matter to you.

EN→DEWith a starting price of €599/£529 for the 12/256GB trim, OnePlus Pad 3 is cheaper than its direct competitors from Samsung and Apple while offering flagship performance, excellent build quality and a refined software experience. You get a brilliant and spacious 13.2-inch LTPS LCD, which gets plenty bright and offers a fast 144Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 8 Elite chip delivered class-leading performance while keeping thermals in check, and the Open Canvas multitasking experience is one of the best implementations we've come across in the tablet market. The optional Smart Keyboard (€169/£169) and Stylo 2 (€99/£99) are great additions for productivity and genuinely transform the Pad 3 into a capable mobile workstation. While tablets may still not be ready to replace your laptop, OnePlus has delivered one of the best all-around devices in the segment.

EN→DEWhile the OnePlus Pad 3 undercuts its closest competitors with a $699 price tag, the experience of using it reminded me of flagship tablets that cost much more. From the larger 13-inch display to the reliable battery life and charging, you really have to nitpick -- and believe that the best tablets are the size of a book -- to find a reason to consider other options on the market. It helps that OnePlus is offering two of the three new accessories as freebies when you purchase the Pad 3. If you're planning to use the tablet for productivity and entertainment, I'd strongly consider the Smart Keyboard and Folio cases. If your use cases include sketching and designing graphics, the Stylo 2 is the better option over either of the other two. For alternatives, I'd recommend the OnePlus Pad 2 to those who want a similar software experience but in a smaller screen size.

EN→DEOnePlus Pad 3 is a technical powerhouse. It’s fast, beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and backed by 3 years of OS updates and 6 years of security support. If you want an Android tablet for media, browsing, and light productivity, it’s hard to beat. But for creators and and developers, the lack of pro apps and Android’s limited ecosystem remain bottlenecks. But if you can work with Android for these constraints, it’s definetly a sound choice.

EN→DEThe OnePlus Pad 3 is a pleasure to use thanks to its amazingly bright and detailed screen, and the amazing sound quality for a tablet. OnePlus has done a fantastic job in the design department to produce a large tablet that’s thin and lightweight with impressive processing power to boot. The price for the tablet on its own is reasonable, but buying the Smart Keyboard and stylus does drive the price up considerably, with the former being extremely useful.

EN→DEFor value for money, the OnePlus Pad 3 is a stone-cold killer. It's big, it's fast, it lasts long, and it's relatively cheap. There is no other model on the market that can beat the Pad 3 across all of those metrics. What's more, there are discounts to be had from OnePlus directly – the Pad 3, the Sylo 2, and the Folio case can be had as a bundle for just £529 – the three together make the tablet cheaper (£599). It is, pound-for-pound, the best tablet around.

While the OnePlus Pad 3's keyboard isn't the best and the tablet's display misses out on inky OLED blacks, if you need maximum screen size, macOS mirroring and file sharing, loads of power and fantastic sound, then this OnePlus slate is an excellent buy, out-speccing comparable iPad and Galaxy Tab products.

EN→DEIf you’re looking for a tablet that can handle both entertainment and productivity, the OnePlus Pad 3 makes a strong case. It’s got a 13.2-inch display, powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, long battery life, and surprisingly good speakers—all of which make it a great streaming, gaming, and multitasking device. It also supports fast 80W charging and runs Android 15 with useful features like multi-window and Gemini AI. But it’s not perfect. At 675g, it can feel heavy during long sessions, and the Smart Keyboard—while promising—has some limitations too. The lack of an OLED display is noticeable at this premium level, and the front camera could’ve been better for video calls. Having said that, the price for the Indian variant is still unknown. If OnePlus sticks to last year’s Rs 40,000 pricing, it’s a great all-rounder. But if it lands above Rs 50,000, well, maybe you would like to consider what else the tablet world has to offer!

EN→DEI am very impressed with the OnePlus Pad 3, and it has been a joy to use it for the duration of this review. It is a powerful tablet and ticks all the boxes that a typical tablet customer could want. I tried to use the tablet in a more “Pro” style of use as a tool for writing this review, and for the most part, it worked very well. The only time I really came up against any issues it was not due to the OnePlus Pad 3 but down to the Android Software. I am sure if I were to spend more time experimenting with this setup, I would be able to find sufficient workarounds for the shortcomings of the Apps that I was using in this review’s creation. If you are looking for a new tablet and don’t fancy paying the Apple or Samsung tax for their products, then this is a very good option, especially when you combine it with the array of accessories that are available to purchase (or get for free if you are lucky enough).

EN→DEIt's hard to say what the Pad 3 would have cost without the Trump administration's tariffs coming along, but it likely would've been $50 to $100 cheaper. So it goes. All things considered, the Pad 3 is still a decent value, particularly when you compare it to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE Plus, which retails for about $50 less but can't come close to matching the zippy performance that this model's Snapdragon Elite processor serves up. And it matches up quite well against Apple's similarly priced iPad Air M3, offering better specs in some areas and better overall performance, though iPadOS has some advantages over Android in general.

EN→DEIf you want a mid-range Android tablet that feels like a flagship, yes. For many people, the OnePlus Pad 3 offers everything most people are looking for in a slate. OnePlus has absolutely nailed the fundamentals here, with incredible performance, a stunning display and some of the best battery life I’ve ever seen on a tablet. You also get a flagship design and useful software features to help you make the most out of that big screen. However, it’s not perfect. While security updates will continue for six years, OnePlus’ commitment to major OS updates is half that. There’s also no official water or dust resistance, while the optional keyboard cover could do with some improvement. But considering its price point, the OnePlus Pad 3 is still a superb buy that’s easy to recommend.

The OnePlus Pad 3 is a quick follow up to last year's excellent OnePlus Pad 2. It's bigger, faster, with more power. In a vacuum it's a tremendous do-it-all Android tablet. But after seeing Huawei MateBook Fold's hardware, and what Apple's doing with iPad software, I think the tablet scene in 2025 has jumped a level, and conventional Android tablets like the OnePlus Pad 3 feels a bit boring. Let's move on to new form factors like foldable tablets or dual-screen tablets yeah?

EN→DE“Don’t buy a tablet, buy a real computer.” I am sure you have heard this advice from tech reviewers in the past. I don’t entirely blame my community—there was a time when tablets were too underpowered to handle basic computing tasks, let alone compete with a laptop. And I am not talking about a decade ago; even as recently as the Covid-19 pandemic, that was still the case. But something has changed in the past two to three years. Tablets have become significantly more powerful and have started to feel much more like real computers. Not all tablets, of course—but a segment of high-performance models has emerged, packing impressive power and offering features like built-in keyboard cases, multitasking capabilities, and long battery life.

OnePlus Pad 3 Review: One of the best tablets of 2025 isn't from Apple, Samsung, or even Google... Meet the OnePlus Pad 3 — a $699 Android tablet that blends premium hardware, smooth software, and surprising versatility. EN→DEBefore I even received the OnePlus Pad 3, I knew it was going to be one of my favorite tablets. Why? Because of what OnePlus and OPPO have been doing with software lately. OnePlus introduced Airdrop-like features for OnePlus devices to iPhones last year in Oxygen OS 15. OPPO introduced even more features for Mac with the Find N5, like photo syncing, remote desktop control, and multi-window. And given how great Open Canvas is, and how much I prefer it, I had huge expectations for the OnePlus Pad 3. On top of that, OnePlus is selling this tablet at an absolute steal. It’s actually priced in line with Samsung’s FE tablets, which is incredible. If you’re not embedded in the Samsung ecosystem, then there’s no reason why you shouldn’t get the OnePlus Pad 3, unless you just don’t need a tablet.

EN→DEIf you’re interested in pre-ordering a OnePlus Pad 3, you can do so now from the OnePlus website, where the double storage offer is still in place. However, the OnePlus Pad 3 Smart Keyboard, which was previously a free gift, is now on a half-price offer. I would definitely consider getting this keyboard if I were to buy the tablet, even if I had to pay for it, as it allows you to use it as a quasi-laptop. Unfortunately, since the keyboard can’t be included as a free gift, you’re now limited to the OnePlus Stylo 2, the OnePlus Pad 3 Folio Case, or a OnePlus SUPERVOOC 80W Dual Ports GaN Power Adapter Kit.

EN→DEWhile the keyboard was great for typing emails, it’s not ideal for heavy work. My main issue was the trackpad — though roomy, it often disrupted productivity by making text selection difficult and frequently triggered unintended shortcuts, like accidental screenshots. The keyboard’s stability also needs improvement; it still connects via pogo pins, which work well on a desk but feel unstable on your lap. Thankfully, Bluetooth support lets you detach and use it wirelessly. The OnePlus Pad 3 is even better suited for binge-watching, reading, streaming music, and light multitasking than before. The improved software update policy also makes it more future-proof. Software limitations prevent it from being a true laptop replacement or productivity powerhouse, but then again, few tablets are.

EN→DEI mentioned the OnePlus Pad 3 came closer than any other tablet to convincing me that I’d use one for productivity tasks, but it still falls short of the mark. I don’t think it’s a problem that can be solved for me. If you absolutely need a large, heavy tablet that can function as a quasi-laptop when you need it and a gigantic screen entertainment center when you don’t, have at it, because OnePlus has done an excellent job. However, for the rest of us, I’d still look towards more inexpensive options, like the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro, to get plenty of use for a lot less money. I can't fault the hardware of the OnePlux Pad 3. It's an excellent performer with a gorgeous display and fantastic battery life. However, it's tough to know who should buy one. The OnePlus Pad 3 is one of the best Android tablets of 2025 for battery life and performance, a proper rival to the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro and iPad. I've been testing the OnePlus Pad 3 for a couple of weeks so here's my verdict! The tablet is released in the UK on June 12 for £529. With its Snapdragon 8 Elite gaming performance, serious longevity between charges and premium specs, the OnePlus Pad 3 is certainly an enjoyable tablet for work or play. However, it's still a bit quirky and not cheap, especially if you want those accessories like the smart keyboard cover.I enjoyed multi-tasking with the OnePlus Pad 3, thanks to that 'Open Canvas' OxygenOS setup and beefy power. Gaming is a slick and smooth experience too, with top Android titles like Wuthering Waves running well on higher graphics settings.

EN→DEThe OnePlus Pad 3 really gets a lot of things right, as it's both performant and has a premium design. While there are a few quirks and frustrations, they aren't deal-breakers by any stretch. I hope that Google rolls out Desktop Mode sooner rather than later, and that OnePlus jumps on that bandwagon as quickly as possible. But even without that, Open Canvas should be more than adequate for multitasking until it arrives. For the first time in a while, the OnePlus Pad 3 is a tablet that I'd actually consider buying for myself, even with the iPad Pro and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra already at my disposal. And that price has not been revealed yet by OnePlus. The tablet is going on sale globally, however, from today and it has been priced at Euros 599. If that is indeed the price, in India you can expect it to land somewhere around Rs 55,000 when it goes on sale later in a few weeks. If that is indeed the price, I have no hesitation in recommending the OnePlus Pad 3 as the best Android tablet to buy in India. Sure, it is missing a few tricks. The Snapdragon 8 Elite is as nippy here as on the best smartphones, the display is a little brighter and more colour-accurate than before and the bigger battery delivers some excellent stamina. It boasts a gorgeous 13.2-inch display, speedy Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, 256GB base storage, plenty of RAM, quality speakers, massive battery with 80W fast charging, and a pleasant user experience thanks to Open Canvas – all wrapped in a slim, premium package that costs just $699. That’s $200 less than Apple’s 256GB iPad Air 13 and $400 less than Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. The OnePlus Pad 3 is not perfect, however. EN→DEIt’s hard to think of anything more I’d want from an Android tablet than this, regardless of price. The OnePlus Pad 3 is brilliantly well-rounded, with the sort of performance to handle just about any task, top-tier accessories that make it a proper productivity machine, and battery life that’s basically unrivalled. You could argue an OLED display would be the icing on the cake, but I honestly don’t feel it’s needed here. The Pad 3’s screen is a stunner in every respect. It’s as slim and easy on the eyes as an iPad Air, and a lot more wallet-friendly than any of Samsung’s big screen Android slates. For some creative types it’ll be the operating system that’s the limiting factor, with fewer apps than Apple. But if Android meets your needs and you want a tablet that can truly do it all, look no further.

EN→DEOnePlus proves it deserves to be considered the top Android tablet maker for another year as the Pad 3 refines its best features even further. If OnePlus could have fought off the necessity for a price increase and added fingerprint or facial recognition security, this would have been nigh on perfect. But as it stands, the still competitive price only makes the beefy performance, big and bright screen, and long-lasting battery even more appealing.

EN→DEOnePlus has struck gold with the OnePlus Pad 3; it offers a premium design with a large screen that’s ideal for both binge-watching movies and multitasking, solid battery life that seems to keep on going and support for high-end accessories that turn the tablet into a laptop replacement. But for me, it’s the sheer performance of the OnePlus Pad 3 that makes it stand out. The Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset offers incredible year-on-year performance gains, with the Pad 3 outpacing not only top-end Android tablets like the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, but even some iPads. It’s not quite outpacing the M3 iPad Air, but it’s not that far off either – and we’ve never seen that from an Android tablet before. Throw in great software tailored to the tablet experience, with handy additions like the ability to remotely access your Mac from the tablet, and you’ve got a remarkably impressive tablet, considering its £529/$699 price tag. For most people, this is the best Android tablet to buy.

EN→DEIf you’re looking for an iPad alternative, the OnePlus Pad 3 nails the essentials of having a stunning, dynamic display, top levels of performance, brilliant accessories and ecosystem integrations. It does all of this at a very accessible price point. There isn’t anything that I actively dislike about the Pad 3 apart from a few minor nitpicks. And for that reason, I have no hesitation in recommending it to you if it meets your wants and needs. Would you buy one instead of the iPad Pro?

EN→DEIf you're due for a tablet upgrade, the OnePlus Pad 3 brings a lot to the table for $1,000. That's obviously not cheap, but I think this device brings good value for what you're paying for. The light weight and thin design make this very comfortable to hold for long sessions in front of the screen. The display is gorgeous and vast. And you have a battery that just won't quit. The stylus attaches magnetically to the tablet. My complaints about the device are minor/common to nearly every tablet (the bezels are a little thick around the screen, the stylus doesn't stay securely attached) but overall, the pain points are so few I really had to think hard about what I don't like about this tablet because there's so much I DO like. Hopefully this review was helpful. I love to talk about tech so if you have any specific questions that I didn't answer, feel free to add me on Instagram and send me a DM.

EN→DEThe OnePlus Pad 3 is OnePlus at its most confident. It takes a successful formula and supercharges it with a bigger display, better performance, louder speakers, smarter software, and marathon battery life. However, it doesn’t escape critique. The lack of an OLED screen, average cameras, no cellular variant, and an IP rating keep it from being the undisputed Android tablet king. Still, if you want a big-screen Android powerhouse that feels like a serious work and entertainment machine without breaking the bank like some competitors, the OnePlus Pad 3 is tough to beat.
