OnePlus Pad

80% OnePlus Pad Review: First time's the charm!
Quelle: Android Headlines Englisch EN→DE
This is OnePlus’ first time making a large-screen device, and I think the company knocked it out of the park. OnePlus was able to give us a tablet with a sturdy design, a beautiful and fluid display, good performance, a pretty good gaming experience, and perfectly optimized software while keeping the price within a reasonable range. If you’re looking for a great tablet experience for a great price, then I recommend that you pick up the OnePlus Pad.

90% OnePlus Pad review: A new standard for Android tablets
Quelle: Tom's Guide Englisch EN→DE
The OnePlus Pad has a lot going for it. Its Dimensity 9000 CPU provides solid performance, and you get over 13 hours of battery life. Curved edges make it comfortable to hold for hours and its centered 13MP rear camera allows for easier photo snapping. The OnePlus Pad sets a new standard for Android tablets, especially at $479.

80% OnePlus Pad review: An excellent and passable laptop replacement
Quelle: It Pro Englisch EN→DE
Is the OnePlus Pad perfect? No. For the price, we'd hope that some of the niggles in this review would have been straightened out, particularly surrounding accidental touches to the screen, and the auto-rotate, which appears to have a life of its own, which could be down to a software bug or a false accelerometer. Nevertheless, notwithstanding it's a first stab, it's an excellent tablet, and with the accessories bundle, it's a more than passable laptop replacement for those on-the-go days and working on the sofa. It's not powerful enough to be your only machine, and regardless of the version, Android simply isn't a replacement for a desktop operating system, though each iteration has brought it closer to being a passable rival for PadOS. The lack of LTE support reduces its holy grail status somewhat, but it's also a fraction of the price of a Samsung Galaxy S9, yet offers the ongoing support that off-brand tablets simply don't give, making it a good long-term purchase. We like. We don't adore. But we very much like.

70% OnePlus Pad review: OnePlus boldly goes where it never went before
Quelle: Digital Trends Englisch EN→DE
For a first attempt at the tablet space, the OnePlus Pad is solid. It stands out among a sea of tablets with a unique and distinctive look thanks to the Halo Green color and brushed metal aesthetic. Even though it’s an 11-inch tablet with a unified metal body, the OnePlus Pad is quite comfortable to hold for prolonged sessions thanks to the curved edges. And with that massive battery, you don’t really need to worry about running out of power! It seems that a lot of tablets are also being made for horizontal use, and the OnePlus Pad clearly shows that. The centered camera on the rear is an interesting design choice, though, but having the front-facing camera on the longer side just makes sense, especially for video calls with Limelight. Just don’t expect high-quality photos and video with either, especially the front, since they’re just 13MP and 8MP, respectively. But for those times you need to take a quick photo or video call, they’re okay in a pinch.

85% OnePlus Pad Long-Term Review: Is This Really An iPad Killer?
Quelle: Gadgetbyte Nepal Englisch EN→DE
So that was all for my long-term review of the OnePlus Pad. All things considered, it’s a great device with an excellent design, a good display, solid speakers, powerful performance, and terrific battery life. And OnePlus is off to a fantastic start in the tablet industry. So if you’re in the OnePlus ecosystem and all of what I just said checks off your list, then this could be definitely worth it to you. Having said that, the OnePlus Pad is nowhere near to being an iPad killer. I don’t think any Android tablet could be an iPad killer at this point, to be honest. Not just from a performance standpoint but all the “Apple” benefits you get from an iPad are simply unmatched. The sad fact is that it’s not just up to Google or tablet makers to fix this mess either. And developers have to come on board to optimize their apps for large-screen Android devices as well.

OnePlus is late to the tablet game, but its first attempt has been worth the wait. The OnePlus Pad excels at the fundamentals of a great slate, with a stunning display, excellent performance and great battery life. You even get high quality speakers, all within a slick, premium design. But with only one storage option and no cellular or fingerprint support, it’s worth considering other options if these things are important to you. Ultimately, the limitations of Android on tablets means this a great tablet for entertainment, but not serious work.

90% OnePlus Pad Review: Best Mid-Range Android Tablet?
Quelle: NDTV Gadgets Englisch EN→DE
Until Google's Pixel Tablet arrives in India (if it ever does), the OnePlus Pad might be the best Android tablet experience you can currently get. This is especially true when you consider its high-refresh rate display, fast charging capability and quality accessories, which are offered at reasonable prices. At a starting price of Rs. 37,999, I did find it to be bit expensive when it was announced but after using it, I think there's plenty of raw performance available that should be good enough for light work or casual use, and it all comes in a package that's easily lighter than most laptops at this price point.

70% OnePlus Pad review: Smart hardware, not-so-smart software
Quelle: Gadgets Now Englisch EN→DE
For a debut device, OnePlus has made a solid and impressive tablet. The OnePlus Pad looks good, the display — even though not OLED — produces vibrant content and overall performance for basic tasks is reasonably good. The tablet alone is priced at Rs 37,999 and if you buy the Stylo and keyboard, it will set you back by Rs 4,999 and Rs 7,999 respectively, bringing the overall cost to Rs 50,997. At that price packet, it offers almost everything you will need in a tablet. What lets down the OnePlus Pad is the Android experience. And it is something that has continued to dog non-iPads for years now. There’s a mad rush these days to make Android tablet but at the end of the day most of them don’t seem real and fall short. They are tribute bands to the iPad, till the blend of software and hardware doesn’t produce a definitive experience. OnePlus has a good tablet on its hands but not the one that we can recommend without putting in the asterixes and mentioning that T&C apply.

OnePlus Pad Review: If iPad Ran on Android

Earlier this year in India, OnePlus announced the OnePlus 11 but the device that caught my attention was the OnePlus Pad. Like many of their smartphones from before, it's meant to offer something high-end for less. That’s enough of a reason to get excited but there's so much more this Android tablet has to offer.

OnePlus Pad Review: Android tablets get a flagship killer
Quelle: Tech PP Englisch EN→DE
The OnePlus Pad starts at Rs 37,999 for its 8 GB/ 128 GB variant, while a 12 GB/ 256 GB variant will set you back by Rs 39,999. At those prices, the OnePlus Pad comes within range of the iPad (10th generation) which is now available from some retailers at around Rs 40,000. While it lacks the software smoothness and accessories to take on the OG tablet, we feel that the OnePlus Pad right now does enough to rattle the cages of premium Android tablets. If that sounds a little far-fetched, then consider the fact that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is priced in the vicinity of Rs 54,000, and while it comes with an S Pen stylus at that price, you can get the OnePlus Pad with the keyboard cover and stylus for a lower price.

OnePlus has done so much on its part with its maiden tablet, yet there is a distance to cover. The OnePlus Pad is a decent first shot at the tablet market. First impressions are mostly positive, with a thin body and premium construction, along with a large, high-resolution display. The presence of a keyboard case and stylus at launch also indicates greater ambitions than just being a basic media playback device. Upon closer inspection, we were suitably impressed by the super fast charging speed and the reasonable quality speakers and cameras. Performance, for the most part, is also more than adequate. The optional keyboard and stylus accessories have their flaws, but they get the job done. Where the OnePlus Pad disappoints is in the display.

There’s a lot to like about the OnePlus Pad, even when compared to iPads, especially in the hardware department. Key features like a large 11.65-inch LCD display with a blisteringly fast 144Hz refresh rate stand out from the competition at all price points, while the 67W SuperVOOC charging gets the tablet from flat to full in just an hour. It’s just a bit of a shame that the charger doesn’t come in the box for some reason. The accessories are well-built too with the Stylo boasting an impressive 2ms response time, and the magnetic keyboard cover was good enough for me to write huge swathes of this very review. However, it lacks the software support of iPads, with odd bugs like the on-screen keyboard not disappearing when using the physical keyboard.

OnePlus Pad Review: An Affordable, Mainstream Android Tablet
Quelle: Hot Hardware Englisch EN→DE
The OnePlus Pad is a nice piece of hardware with premium design sensibilities and a comfortable 7:5 display. The screen's contrast and brightness could be better, but it's a great size. Most of Samsung's tablets have widescreen ratios, which make them less comfortable to hold for long periods, so we're a big fan of this 11-inch tablet's form factor. Despite Google's renewed interest in making Android work on the large screen, buying an Android tablet is a tough sell for most people. Sadly, OnePlus didn't do much to compensate for that with the software on the Pad. It's a magnified OxygenOS with even more iOS influences than we see on phones like the OnePlus 11.

OnePlus Pad Review: Incredible Size, Solid First Attempt
Quelle: Droid Life Englisch EN→DE
I like the OnePlus Pad for a number of reasons that I described above that definitely outweigh the couple of areas of concern I have. The shape and size and finish of the Pad are my favorite parts of it, plus the 144Hz display looks solid in the tasks I put it through. Battery life was great, performance met my expectations, and the OS didn’t completely turn me off like it often does on OnePlus’ phones. At $479, I’m not sure there are many tablets that match-up to OnePlus’ first big screen device. While not the best tablet on the market, this is a really good first attempt and a proper budget pick.

If you’re a OnePlus user and you’re looking for a slim, stylish Android tablet that’s loaded with features, the $479 OnePlus Pad seems like a no-brainer. The hardware is excellent, the screen is large enough to conveniently multitask, and the soon-to-be-released Cellular Data Sharing for 5G OnePlus smartphones sounds convenient. But even if you’re simply looking for a capable, non-iOS tablet with a larger display that can handle multitasking, the OnePlus Pad certainly fits the bill.

There is a huge gap in the Android world when it comes to brands that offer a multi-device ecosystem. It’s only Samsung that does anything near the scale of Apple, others try and do it but mostly revolve around their smartphone offerings. If there is a company that is somewhere on the Samsung path it has to be OnePlus, which has been adding devices to its ecosystem over the past few years. It has just added another, the OnePlus Pad. It is hard not to say this, but yes the OnePlus Pad is heavily inspired by the iPad. And that is not essentially a bad thing. You are after all trying to follow the best in the space, and maybe go one up in the process. The overall styling is akin to the iPad with a thin bezel going all around the screen. The tablet has a very thin frame and the metal back feels both stylish and premium. The only significant design deviation is the camera ring at the back that reminds you of the latest series of OnePlus phones.

The OnePlus Pad is a heck of a first-generation tablet from the company that's made a name for itself with its smartphone line. Its performance, display and battery life are fantastic, but don't buy it expecting an iPad Pro replacement. Android apps and the keyboard/trackpad experience are to blame for that. The OnePlus Pad is available to pre-order directly from OnePlus right now for $479. Preorders for the $149 Magnetic Keyboard, $99 Stylo and $39 Folio Case are also open. Deliveries are expected to start on May 8, and OnePlus plans to add more retailers towards the end of next month. If you're looking for a tablet that doesn't have an Apple logo on the back and you just want something for basic tasks like browsing the web, watching videos and light gaming, then the OnePlus Pad is a solid choice. However, if you're in the market for a tablet to use for triaging your inbox or working in and writing long documents or spreadsheets, then you're better off looking at the alternatives below.

OnePlus is throwing in a simple folio cover for the first buyers. OnePlus Pad Review

OnePlus entered the Android tablet segment with the OnePlus Pad having the best-in-class specifications and features and, no doubt, the OnePlus Pad is a flagship-grade tablet that offers superior performance (Dimensity 9000 & 12 GB RAM). The only thing we are concerned about is the LTE or 5G variant which we haven’t seen from the company. The OnePlus Pad looks pretty appealing with its slim form factor, it offers a premium and solid design. The large 11.6-inch 2.8K screen is gorgeous, it offers an enormous viewing experience paired with its quad Dolby stereo speakers which do sound impressive. The display performs smoothly with a 144 Hz refresh rate and offers good viewing angles. In addition, the OnePlus Pad equips a huge 9,510 mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging and comes with all those OxygenOS 13.1 perks for tablets. On top of it, it has a magnetic keyboard and stylus support that can be used for various activities such as note-making, designing, sketching, drawing illustrations, and even navigating through the interface. Overall, the OnePlus Pad is a great 11-inch performance Android tablet under ₹40,000 price segment and is extremely recommended.

The OnePlus Pad is a premium device like the iPad Pro and Samsung's Galaxy Tab, with an 11.6-inch Dolby Vision display, quad speaker setup and Dimensity 9000 power. It'll do everything you want and the UK asking price is £449 (499 in Euros). That Mediatek chipset happily handles side-by-side multi-tasking on the OnePlus Pad. This tablet can run three apps on screen simultaneously, with others working away in the background. You can even do some gaming on the likes of Genshin Impact, with a decent performance even on higher detail settings. The OnePlus Pad also offers a crisp IPS screen with 144Hz refresh, plus beefy speakers that are ideal for watching video in a noisy household. There's no expandable storage or LTE/5G support however, while accessories like the keyboard cover and Stylo stylus will cost you extra.

Overall, if you’re shopping for a tablet in 2023 and, for whatever reason, don’t want an iPad, you could do far worse than the OnePlus Pad. Its display and speakers are as good as Apple and Samsung’s top-tier 11-inch tablets, and it’s an excellent device for watching movies or reading on. And you can get those premium-level tablet features, like quad-speaker and fast-refresh display, for a lot less than the price of an iPad Pro or Tab S8. Of course, if you have an iPhone or Galaxy phone and want a tablet that integrates well with it, the OnePlus Pad won’t cut it. Nor is it really a great laptop replacement — this is a tablet that’s best at the traditional tablet things, and that’s fine. The Pad isn’t the only new tablet in the Android space this year, as Google’s long-awaited Pixel Tablet is expected to arrive imminently. Google is apparently targeting a bit different use case with it, though, and until we get our hands on it, it’s hard to say how much overlap there will be with the Pad and other tablets. But as a nice tablet that does tablet things well for a reasonable price, it’s hard to find too much fault with the OnePlus Pad. It’s nice to see the old OnePlus again.

70% OnePlus Pad Review: Dressed up with nowhere to go

The OnePlus ecosystem is here, and in true OnePlus fashion, the company rushed into it, leaving a few nuances behind. Don’t get me wrong, the OnePlus Pad is powerful, and this is the best device I’ve ever used running a MediaTek chipset. From its screen to its speakers, it has a premium attitude. For work, it’s a great machine, and once you’re in the apps you like, it performs excellently. Media consumption is also fantastic. At face value, there’s a ton to love here, but once the $649 CAD price tag ($997 with the keyboard and stylus) gets involved, it becomes harder to justify. First-generation products always have lots of wrinkles to iron out, and OnePlus is no different. I’m hoping once the Pixel Tablet releases and Android 14 rolls out, the OnePlus tab might get a little better as Android does more and more to support larger screened devices again, but there are no guarantees. I’m also excited to try out the Pad Connect features once one of my OnePlus phones gets updated (stay tuned for that). If you’re a fan of OnePlus and want a tablet really badly, nothing should stop you from buying this one. However, part of what makes a tablet so compelling to me is how strong the ecosystem surrounding it is, and in the case of OnePlus, it still has a long way to go.

80% OnePlus Pad Review: The iPad Casts A Long Shadow
Quelle: Slashgear Englisch EN→DE
Overall, this tablet is best suited to compete against Samsung in the productivity tablet space, which is very much needed. Samsung has long dominated the best-iPad-alternative tablet space, and it's about time another tablet stepped up. At $479 for the tablet at $150 for the keyboard, this is a very not bad device for $629, which undercuts Samsung by a fair margin. But Samsung has a major leg up here in the form of Dex. The Dex interface on the Tab S8 is great for multi-tasking and productivity and that's not something OnePlus can compete with at the moment. But, for a first effort, OnePlus gets major kudos for trying to build an ecosystem of devices that work together, and for making bold decisions like the 7:5 aspect ratio to maximize the usable space. The keyboard is wonderful, which is not always a given for a first effort, and most of the software can be fixed over time. So, should you buy it? If you're looking for a content consumption device, probably not. A tablet does not need to be powerful in order to watch movies and YouTube, and there are any number of lower-priced devices that will get you by. This device will display those movies better, with better sound, for sure, but this tablet is going to be for the more productivity-focused individuals. I typed this entire review on this device and for a couple of days, I performed every other duty required of my daytime job on this device, too. That's not a small thing, and the price is just right for a first effort that still has a little ways to go.

The OnePlus Pad delivers precisely what its maker is best known for: potent and good-looking hardware that gets impressively close to the class leaders, only without the premium price to match. Black bars aside, a vibrant display and energetic sound make it a great multimedia slate, while the optional keyboard cover and stylus are perfect for productivity. Android still has a ways to go before it feels totally at home on a tablet, though. OnePlus hasn’t customised the OS to the same extent as market leader Samsung, so it falls behind on usability and multitasking ability – and both take a distant second place to the iPad and iPadOS as potential laptop replacements. As an occasional work machine that can otherwise entertain, though, the OnePlus Pad is a valiant first effort.

80% OnePlus Pad review: Android’s answer to Apple’s iPad – or is it?
Quelle: T3 Englisch EN→DE
In one key way, the OnePlus Pad is the iPad of the Android world, if only because it has a more iPad-like screen aspect ratio. It’s less rectangular than most Android tablets, so will suit a certain kind of productivity-focused user. Specifically, it’s great for photographers who use Lightroom, video editors, gamers, and anyone after a tablet for getting work done on an Android rather than Apple slate. It's not so good for widescreen movie-watching, though, given the aspect ratio and resulting black bars. Frustratingly, however, OnePlus has inherited an Android problem: the OS just isn’t super-optimised for tablets, and neither are most Android apps. The fact OnePlus hasn’t gone as far as Huawei or Samsung to customise and optimise its Android experience holds its Pad back from greatness. But given its price, performance, and the screen’s quality and potential for productivity, while it isn't the best tablet you can buy right now, we can still absolutely recommend the OnePlus Pad for a certain kind of user.

Looking through the history of Android tablets, it's clear that launching a good one is a lot more difficult than you'd think. To that end, while the OnePlus Pad isn't a perfect tablet, I think it's a good first swing in this product category. Aside from some questionable design choices and a few software bugs worth ironing out, this tablet succeeds at nearly everything it sets out to accomplish, and I'm left mostly impressed. For just under $500, the OnePlus Pad represents a quality slate that is capable of going toe-to-toe with the iPad without embarrassing itself. That's no small feat, especially when it's easy to imagine a world where an inaugural device like this was seen as a mixed success. While Apple and Samsung will still continue to dominate this space — and Google is set to take another attempt at bat in the coming months — the OnePlus Pad represents a solid alternative to those bigger brands. And frankly, I can't wait to see its successor.

The specs for the OnePlus Pad are pretty good for the price you’re paying, especially with that display with up to 144Hz refresh rate. And while the software is okay for the most part, it still has some quirks, which is to be expected of most Android tablets. Again, I’m not sure if it’s the developer of certain apps or something with the OnePlus Pad itself, but hopefully, those issues I had get resolved eventually. Besides those small issues, though, the software works nicely, especially if you need to run multiple apps for work. The OnePlus Pad isn’t the slam dunk OnePlus may have been hoping for, but if this is just the beginning of more to come, OnePlus is off on the right track.

The OnePlus Pad is the first Android tablet I have used that is a serious contender to take on the Apple iPad. With fast, smooth performance, I could handle document pushing in Google Docs, enjoy hours of video content, and even sneak in a little gaming. When you add all those capabilities to it being one of the most enjoyable tablets to read a book on, it has been my best Android tablet experience. The only flaw I can point to is its knack of collecting more fingerprints than a season of C.S.I. Don’t forget the excellent audio, solid camera performance, and high-end design that feels elegant and sturdy. The OnePlus Pad has earned 4.5 stars and our coveted editors' choice award.

Ultimately, then, the OnePlus pad is a bit of a weird mix. The tablet itself is excellent. The display is lovely and beats the iPad for smoothness with its 144Hz refresh rate. Overall performance, while a little behind its rivals, is fine, and battery life is great. However, there are problems with the OnePlus Pad. The palm rejection on the touchpad is non-existent and there’s only one angle at which you can set the screen, while Android remains a frustrating OS to use as a laptop replacement. If you’re looking for a tablet that will double as an occasional laptop replacement, then, it’s probably best to opt for something different. Either of the iPad options (or even the Microsoft Surface Go 3) are better productivity tablets, notwithstanding the general quality of the OnePlus’ hardware.

Quelle: 91mobiles Englisch EN→DE
As I mentioned earlier, the OnePlus Pad sticks to the same ethos the brand’s devices have been known to follow — offering more for less. It’s a premium slate with flagship performance, and one that shines in almost all aspects. There’s no cellular option available, at least as of now, and while that might not appeal to many folks, does seem like a miss. A hotspot / data sharing is a quick and easy fix for that though. The tablet is priced at Rs 37,999 for the 8GB/128GB model and Rs 39,999 for the 12GB/256GB version, while the Stylo will cost you another Rs 4,999 and the keyboard cover Rs 7,999. While the stylus might not be useful for everyone, I think the keyboard cover does make for a useful addition, especially if you intend to use the device for work. The combo can be a useful companion while travelling, jumping between meetings, handling work calls via Zoom / Google Meet, thumping out emails etc. Not to mention the whole entertainment and content consumption angle — a use case where the OnePlus Pad shines as well.

90% OnePlus Pad review: The Android tablet to buy in 2023?
Quelle: Pocket Lint Englisch EN→DE
The OnePlus Pad is a great Android tablet, and likely the best in this price range. Samsung, for example, is selling its S7 Tab FE for the same price, and it has far poorer specifications throughout than the nimble OnePlus Pad. We're not sure it's quite as appealing as the 10th Gen iPad, but for those who want to steer clear of Apple's proprietary ecosystem, it presents a compelling alternative. There's also the Google Pixel Tablet on the horizon, but with concrete details few and far between, it's hard to estimate how that will compare. For now, the OnePlus pad is one of the best Android tablets you can find. The excellent display and speakers make it a delight for watching content, while the 7:5 aspect ratio lends itself perfectly to web browsing. It performs well, has superb battery life and can be improved with some top accessories. We think it's a bit of a winner.

We like the OnePlus Pad, especially considering it's the company's first attempt at making a slate. It's a gorgeous slab of metal and glass, and it includes a lovely display and appealing four-speaker sound. The battery life and connectivity are solid, and the software and accessories together make it a compelling Android workstation. The performance, however, lags behind the iPad in a big way. Further, the iPad has a far better app selection (particularly for work). And then there's the price. The iPad is $30 cheaper, and often on sale for less. Those shopping for an affordable do-it-all tablet should stick to the Editors' Choice-winning iPad, but OnePlus 11 5G smartphone owners who want a tablet that works specifically with their phone might find that the OnePlus Pad is the one.

The OnePlus Pad has a gorgeous design, and the aluminum chassis combined with the lustrous green color option give it an elegance that's unmatched in this category. The large screen has a 144Hz refresh and is good for streaming content, and you'll find four speakers in total here. Combine that with reliable hardware and a battery that lasts long enough to stream an entire season of a Netflix show, and the tablet covers all the basics. However, there are several problems: the design with the rounded edges isn't comfortable to hold, the software isn't optimized, and the screen tends to be laggy at times. Furthermore, the magnetic keyboard and stylus accessories I was sent were unreliable, and key software features are unavailable at launch. There is a lot of potential here, but as of now, that is unrealized — OnePlus has a lot of work ahead to turn this into a recommendable product.

Quelle: Mobile Syrup Englisch EN→DE

Quelle: Stuff TV Englisch EN→DE

75% OnePlus Pad review: A new challenger enters the ring
Quelle: Android Police Englisch EN→DE

80% OnePlus Pad review: premium tablet done right
Quelle: 91mobiles Englisch EN→DE

The OnePlus Pad is a compelling first tablet from the original flagship killer. It pairs a premium design with a powerful processor and smooth software, all tuned for a big screen with a unique aspect ratio that's great for streaming, e-reading, and more. It might not be priced competitively enough to pull the loyal iPad crowd away, but the OnePlus Pad is well equipped to take a bite out of the ill-served Android tablet market.

70% OnePlus Pad review: I really wanted to like this tablet, but it isn't worth it — for now
Quelle: Android Central Englisch EN→DE

The OnePlus Pad defies tablet history. Whenever a better tablet comes along, it always costs more (or maybe that’s just Samsung). What OnePlus did for smartphones – offering an impressive mix of features in a slick package for a better price – it does now for tablets… almost. The price is right, and you get more screen, more battery, and a cooler look than any competitor will offer. Some of the most important features for OnePlus owners are still only a promise, and those could determine if OnePlus has built an ecosystem to rival Apple or just a nice green tablet at a great price.

The OnePlus Pad is doing some unusual things with the tablet form factor, which appeal because of their novelty at the very least. The squarer shape and other unusual design flourishes have quickly established the identity of OnePlus' tablet line, while a responsive stylus and a useful keyboard cover, promising performance, battery life and charging speeds and other bells and whistles help mark it out as different from Apple and Samsung slades down to its silicon bones. All OnePlus needs is an attractive price to start stealing sales from Samsung's Galaxy Tabs, and maybe even convert the odd iPad user who find Apple's slates just aren't for them. We'll save our final judgement on whether it's managed that for April.

75% OnePlus Pad Go Review: A stylish tablet for content consumption on the go
Quelle: Tech2 Englisch EN→DE
The OnePlus Pad Go can be purchased starting at Rs 19,999 for the WiFi-only variant with 128 GB storage. The LTE variants with 128 GB and 256 GB storage sell for Rs 21,999 and Rs 23,999 respectively. Barring a modest processor and mediocre camera, it packs some impressive features like a large high-res 90 Hz display, Dolby Atmos-certified speakers, good battery backup and premium design that justify the price tag. Lack of accessories is a downer though. As for competition, I cannot think of anything better with LTE around 20K. If mobile connectivity is not a requirement, the Xiaomi Pad 6 is a great option for a few thousand bucks more if you are looking for a more powerful tablet that can also handle some serious gaming. Other than a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, it flaunts some of the OnePlus Pad features like a higher resolution Dolby Vision compliant display with 144 Hz refresh rate for well under 30K. You also get some handy accessories for it making it a well-rounded option.

80% OnePlus Pad Go review: Premium feels at an affordable price
Quelle: India Today Englisch EN→DE
So, should you go ahead and buy the OnePlus Pad Go? In short, yes. With its price starting at Rs 19,999, the tab gives stiff competition to the likes of Redmi Pad and Lenovo Tab P11 Plus Pad. With a great display, decent camera, and satisfactory performance, the OnePlus Pad Go is for people who are always on the move and love to carry their source of entertainment around.

OnePlus Pad Go hands-on review
Quelle: GSM Arena Englisch EN→DE
The OnePlus Pad Go is a pretty solid offering from the company and a good entrant in the mid-range tablet market. The design, display, speakers, and battery life are good and the OS offers some really useful multitasking capabilities. The addition of data connectivity also makes this significantly more convenient to carry around than its more expensive sibling. The downsides are mostly the lack of any real GPU horsepower and the limited 8GB memory. But for the intended use cases, which are reading, watching, browsing, and a bit of productivity work, the OnePlus Pad Go is a perfectly capable device.

80% OnePlus Pad Go review: A go-to entertainment tablet at an affordable price
Quelle: The Indian Express Englisch EN→DE
The OnePlus Pad Go is clearly one of the best tablets to consider around the Rs 20,000 price mark. Unlike its contemporaries, OnePlus offers a far superior build quality, a great screen, and an enhanced tablet experience at a highly affordable price. If you are looking for a tablet computer, primarily for content consumption, the OnePlus Pad Go is an easy pick.

78% OnePlus Pad Go Review: An Affordable Tablet for Content Consumption
Quelle: Tech PP Englisch EN→DE
If you’re looking for an Android tablet for content consumption but don’t want to spend a lot of money, you can’t go wrong with the OnePlus Pad Go. It’s a solid performer in that department; the beautiful display and excellent quad-speaker setup give you a good entertainment experience without any compromises. Heavy gaming or office work, of course, isn’t Pad Go’s strong suit. But truth be told, it isn’t meant for that. You’re better off picking OnePlus’ other offering—the OnePlus Pad (review)—for this purpose, which starts at Rs 36,999 and comes with support for a folio keyboard and pen that makes it a better fit for some office/school work. If your budget is under Rs 20,000, and you want a tablet with a higher refresh rate screen, the Realme Pad 2, for a starting price of Rs 17,999, is a good option. For someone looking for a well-rounded tablet—and willing to spend some up to Rs 25,000—Xiaomi’s Pad 6 (review) is the best option.

OnePlus Pad Go review: Buy it for its sound quality
Quelle: Techlusive Englisch EN→DE
The OnePlus Pad Go is a good tablet for entertainment and multimedia purposes. It offers a vivid screen, great sound and decent cameras in daylight. It also has a fast processor and a long-lasting battery with a 33W charger. However, it has some drawbacks, such as poor front camera performance in low light and no support for keyboard and stylus. For Rs 23,999, this tablet is a large-screen smartphone with limited productivity features. But it is worth buying if you only want a tablet for fun and leisure.

OnePlus Pad Go Review
Quelle: Mobygyaan Englisch EN→DE
OnePlus also introduced another tablet in the midrange category for those who want a larger screen on a budget, the OnePlus Pad Go is priced at ₹19,999 and offers a host of features including its ultra-slim 6.8mm slim and metallic design, a large 11.3-inch 90 Hz display, a decent performance (Helio G99), quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support and Omnibearing Sound, 4G LTE option, and 8,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging. Overall, the OnePlus Pad Go is a good choice for users who want a tablet for multimedia experience on a larger screen i.e. 11-inch, the price starts at ₹19,999 for its 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage Wi-Fi variant.

80% OnePlus Pad Go review: Bold on a budget
Quelle: Android Police Englisch EN→DE Archive.org version
For nearly half the price of the original OnePlus Pad, the Pad Go gets you a lot of its sibling's best features, from its display and build quality to several software tricks and marathon battery performance. It's an entertainment tablet at its heart and even delivers on that front. If you unwind at the end of the day by watching some YouTube videos, catching up with your favorite Netflix series, or just reading a book on Kindle before hitting the bed, the OnePlus Pad Go is going to be your perfect companion. While it cannot replace your work laptop, considering it doesn't support OnePlus' stylus and keyboard accessories, it is well suited to be that plus-one (geddit?) device that sits right between your phone and laptop. And the kind of package OnePlus has put together for the asking price, with a beautiful display and quad speakers, the Pad Go stands out in a sea of budget tablets.

Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Most smartphones and only a few tablets fall into this weight category. Only a few smartphones are heavier and should rather be considered tablets.
