The HP dm3t price is very fairly priced with the starting price of $599.  I prefer the dm3t over the dm3z due to the better battery performance and lower amount of heat, but the cheaper price tag and ATI graphics on the AMD configuration might appeal more to some people, it depends on your wants and preferences.  The port selection of the dm3t is very good, the screen decent, speakers good and battery life superb.  I’m a big fan of the Intel CULV processors thanks to their good performance and low power usage

Man, we really wanted to fall in love with the dm3t. It's small, sexy, and about as well-built as any other PC laptop we've seen in a while, and the spec list is solid, if not spectacular. But it's hard to fall in love with any laptop that has both a substandard display and a terrible trackpad -- the two parts of a machine you spend the most time interacting with. It's particularly frustrating because they're such obvious and glaring flaws in an otherwise excellent machine, and we simply have no idea how or why HP decided to ship the dm3t without fixing them. Now, where's that sandpaper?

This sleek aluminum-clad notebook offers good performance and over 9 hours of battery life, but its Touchpad slows you down. There’s a lot to like about the HP Pavilion dm3t. It’s sleek, lasts all day on a charge, and performs well. Plus, you have the choice of adding discrete graphics. Unfortunately, the imprecise Touchpad on this machine slowed us down, and literally made us less productive while using it. Overall, we recommend the ASUS UL30A because of its better ergonomics. But if you can live with its few flaws, there are enough things going for the dm3t to make it a worthwhile purchase.

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 4500MHD: Im GM45, GS45 und GE45 Chipsatz (Montevina Plattform) integrierte shared Memory Grafikkarte von Intel. Durch höhere Taktung und mehr Shader ist sie deutlich schneller als die X3100, jedoch immer noch nicht für Spieler empfehlenswert. Kann HD-Videos (AVC/VC2/MPEG2) dekodieren und so die CPU entlasten.

Einige nicht anspruchsvolle aktuelle Spiele können mit geringen Details noch flüssig gespielt werden. Für Office und Video natürlich ausreichende Leistungsreserven.

Intel Celeron Dual-Core: Die Intel Celeron Dual-Core Familie beinhaltet preisgünstige Dual Core Prozessoren für Einsteiger-Laptops. Im Vergleich zu den Core (2) Duo und Pentium Dual-Core Modellen, besitzen die Celeron Dual-Core deutlich weniger L2 Cache (dadurch verringerte Performance).

13.3": 13 Zoll ist ein häufiges, jedenfalls aber das grösste Displayformat für Subnotebooks. Der Vorteil von Subnotebooks liegt darin, dass das Notebook klein dimensioniert sein kann und daher leicht tragbar ist. Das verhältnismäßig kleine Display hat noch den Vorteil wenig Strom zu benötigen, was die Akkulaufzeit und damit die Mobilität weiter verbessert. Der Nachteil ist, dass das Lesen von Texten ein wenig anstrengend für die Augen ist. Sehr hohe Auflösungen sind nur bedingt nutzbar. Nicht fehlsichtige Menschen sollten mit dieser Displaygröße aber zurechtkommen können.

78.25%: Weltbewegend ist diese Bewertung nicht. Obwohl es bei den meisten Websites einem "Befriedigend" entspricht, muss man bedenken, dass es kaum Notebooks gibt, die unter 60% erhalten. Verbalbewertungen in diesem Bereich klingen oft nicht schlecht, sind aber oft verklausulierte Euphemismen. Dieses Notebook wird von den Testern eigentlich als unterdurchschnittlich angesehen, eine Kaufempfehlung kann man nur mit viel Wohlwollen darin sehen.
