A laptop packed with well-chosen features, including a great screen, powerful battery and Intel-integrated graphics chip. We were not expecting much from the Aspire V3, but we were pleased to find that it’s a very capable budget laptop with fast performance, good battery life and a comfortable keyboard.

The Acer Aspire V3-571 is a great example of just how much can be achieved within the constraints of a severely limited budget. Gamers will need to set their sights a little higher, and it isn’t particularly convincing in sound reproduction. Overall though, it does a remarkable job, providing pace and a pleasing user experience enhanced by the appearance of some of the better input devices we’ve seen at this price level. Snap one up while you still can.

It’s a nice unit – pity about the shiny black – it seems very responsive and the video compression ran very swiftly. However the battery use seemed very heavy to me when the specifications say 4.5 hours that’s what I expect. A full recharge (while off) took 90minutes.As with most notebooks the screen is reflective which can mean it’s difficult to read with a strong light behind you.

Intel HD Graphics 3000: In Sandy Bridge Prozessoren (Core ix-2xxx) integrierte Grafikkarte von Intel. Stärkere GT2 genannte Version mit 12 Execution Units (EUs). Je nach Modell mit unterschiedlichen Taktraten (350-650MHz) und TurboBoost Unterstützung (900-1350MHz).

Diese Karten können nur sehr alte und sehr anspruchslose 3D Spiele flüssig darstellen.  Anwendungen wie Office, Internet surfen, Bildbearbeitung oder (SD) Videoschnitt sind jedoch ohne große Einschränkungen möglich.
