Die restliche Ausstattung ist eher in der Mittelklasse zu verorten, dafür ist auch der Preis klein: 249 Euro verlangt Huawei für seinen neuesten Smartphone-Spross.

The Huawei Ascend G6 may have price on its side as a 4G handset, but it's not particularly pleasant to use and there are much better phones available for less. With the 4G version of the Motorola Moto G on sale now for £160 SIM free or £19-per-month on contract, there's simply no reason to choose the Ascend G6 over Motorola's budget marvel.

There’s nothing inherently wrong with the Huawei Ascend G6, but at the same time not one feature really stands out. Battery life is good as is the overall performance and Huawei is finally learning that design and build quality does matter even on a midrange phone. The problem however is that in the Moto G and the Xperia M2 you have two smartphones that offer the same features for around £50 less.

Interestingly, much of what makes up the Ascend G6 was actually found in the P6, with a similar design, and almost identical (we think they may even be identical) cameras. But Huawei has managed to improve things a bit, with a faster chip and better mobile speeds, both of which help the G6. Is it the phone for you? Well, that depends on what your hands think when they hold it, but if you’re low on cash but want a good bang for your buck, that can totally be found in the Ascend G6.

3D Spiele sind auf diesen Vertretern nur in Ausnahmen spielbar, grundsätzlich sind die Grafiklösungen hierfür jedoch nicht geeignet. Office Programme und Internet surfen dürfte jedoch ohne Problem möglich sein.
