Das Poco X8 Pro knüpft nahtlos an den Vorgänger an. Bereits dieser hat ja in unserem Test sehr gut abgeschnitten und wurde auch bei Anfragen von Lesern und Zuschauern immer wieder als Empfehlung genannt. Auch das Poco X8 Pro dürfte wohl in diese Fußstapfen treten. Zwar hat Xiaomi die UVP deutlich angehoben, doch zu den Straßenpreisen ist das Poco X8 Pro genau wie sein Vorgänger ein echtes Schnäppchen. Die Kombination aus hochwertigem Design aus Glas und Metall, sehr gutem Display, guter Leistung, ordentlicher Kamera und langer Akkulaufzeit macht das Poco X8 Pro zu Preisen ab oftmals deutlich unter 300€ zu einem insgesamt sehr guten Gesamtpaket. Ob der durchschnittliche Smartphone-Käufer ohne gehobene Ansprüche wirklich mehr braucht als man hier bekommt, ist fraglich. Ob sich ein Wechsel vom Poco X7 Pro zum Poco X8 Pro lohnt, sollte man jedoch kritisch hinterfragen. Sicherlich gibt es an einigen Stellen spürbare Unterschiede bzw. Upgrades und auch "nice to have" Features wie die RGB LED Ringe, doch wirklich weltbewegend fallen diese auch nicht aus. Wer gerne das neueste Modell haben möchte und das nötige Kleingeld übrig hat, kann natürlich zugreifen, doch wer lieber sparen möchte, kann auch beim Vorgänger bleiben und noch eine Generation abwarten. Damit dürfte man dann das größere Upgrade bekommen, sofern Xiaomi den aktuellen Kurs beibehält.
