Im Jahr 2010 erstellte Oppo die Untermarke Oppo Real, die 2018 eine eigene Marke wurde, nämlich Realme. Smartphones mit diesem Namen sind interessant, weil sie die perfekte Stelle zwischen der oberen Hälfte von Mid-Range und der unteren Hälfte von High-Range treffen. Realme hat es schon immer gut geschafft, Designs neuer Generationen zu aktualisieren und sie gleichzeitig vertraut aussehen zu lassen. So auch beim neuesten Mitglied der Familie, dem Realme 6. Dieses Gerät sieht definitiv umwerfend aus, das Komet-Design zieht Blicke magnetisch an, leuchtende Lichtstreifen treffen sich an der Unterkante. Insgesamt sieht es wie eine Replik des Realme XT aus, die zwei Geräte sind äußerlich kaum zu Unterscheiden. Allerdings hat das Realme 6 eine Aussparung in Form eines Wassertropfens anstatt einer Lochung.

Das Smartphone hat eine glänzende Oberfläche, und das Komet-Design versteckt Fingerabdrücke recht gut. Der 6,5-Zoll-Bildschirm hat eine Full-HD+-Auflösung und eine Bildrate von 90 Hz. Es bietet in jeder Situation angemessene Helligkeit und kräftige Farben. Darüber hinaus gibt es einen Augenschutz-Modus, einen Dunkelmodus und einen OSIE-Effekt (Object and Semantic Images and Eye-tracking), was das Bilderlebnis noch verbessert. In das Realme 6 wurde ein MediaTek Helio G90T eingebaut, als Betriebssystem Android 10 mit der Realme-UI des Unternehmens installiert. Die Benutzeroberfläche funktioniert reibungslos bei Multitasking oder App-Switching. Sogar bei längeren Gaming-Sitzungen mit hohen Grafikeinstellungen gab es kein Stottern.

Das Realme 6 ist mit ingesamt fünf Kamera ausgerüstet, vier auf der Rückseite und einer auf der Vorderseite. Die Hauptkamera besteht aus einem 64-MP-Ultra-Weitwinkelsensor, einer 8-MP-Ultra-Weitwinkellinse, einer B&W-Porträtlinse und einer 2-MP-Makrolinse. Es gibt auch aufregende Effekte wie Zeitraffer, Ultra-Makro, Pro-Kamera, Slo-Mo, Pano und Nachtmodus. Bei der Vorderkamera handelt es sich um eine 16-MP-Selfiekamera. Die Kameras auf der Rückseite liefern bei Tageslicht beeindruckende Ergebnisse; bei Selfies gab es kein unnötiges Verschönern und nur wenig Verzerrung. Der Akku des Realme 6 hat eine Kapazität von 4.300 mAh und funktioniert mit Oppos 30W VOOC Flash-Laden 4.0. Bei mäßiger Nutzung (telefonieren und im Internet surfen) hielt der Akku bis zu 1,5 Tage, bei intensiver Nutzung kam er auch über den Tag. Das Realme 6 hat somit viel zu bieten, doch die Wahl hängt immer noch von den persönlichen Vorlieben ab.

Sollte auf den Verkaufsgeräten auch russische Bloatware installiert sein, würde ich das Gerät gar nicht erst in Erwägung ziehen.

Realme: Realme ist ein chinesischer Smartphone-Hersteller, der im Jahr 2018 gegründet wurde. Das Unternehmen ist eine Tochtergesellschaft von Oppo, einem anderen chinesischen Smartphone-Hersteller. Dieser ist ein Tochterunternehmen von BBK Electronic Corporation, einem riesigen chinesischen Elektronikkonzern, zu dem auch OnePlus und Vivo gehören.

Realme konzentriert sich auf die Herstellung von Smartphones und wurde besonders in Indien populär. Neben Smartphones stellt Realme auch andere Produkte der Unterhaltungselektronik her, wie Smartwatches, Kopfhörer und Powerbanks.

Einige nicht anspruchsvolle aktuelle Spiele können mit geringen Details noch flüssig gespielt werden. Für Office und Video natürlich ausreichende Leistungsreserven.

ARM Mali-G76 MP4: Integrierte Grafikkarte basierend auf die Bifrost Architektur der 2. Generation mit 4 Clustern. Laut ARM etwa doppelt so schnell wie eine G72 mit gleicher Anzahl an Clustern.

ARM Mali-G52 MP2: Integrierte Grafikkarte der Mittelklasse mit 2 Kernen / Clustern.

Diese Karten können nur sehr alte und sehr anspruchslose 3D Spiele flüssig darstellen.  Anwendungen wie Office, Internet surfen, Bildbearbeitung oder (SD) Videoschnitt sind jedoch ohne große Einschränkungen möglich.

Qualcomm Adreno 618: Grafikchip für Smartphones und Tablets, integriert im Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SoC. Etwas schnellere Version der Adreno 616.
