Das Lenovo Yoga C940 14 aus 2019 hinterließ bei uns im Test einen ausgesprochen guten Eindruck. Rund ein Jahr später steht nun die aktuelle Ausgabe des High-End-Convertibles von Lenovo am Prüfstand und sieht seinem Vorgänger verblüffend ähnlich. Im Inneren hat sich aber einiges getan: Intel Tiger-Lake-Prozessor nebst Intel Iris Xe Graphics treiben das 2-in-1-Notebook an.

The Yoga 9i offers pretty great battery life, a colorful touchscreen display that’s better than the average 1080p screen, amazing rotating speakers that baffled me with the sound it produced, and fast performance. However, when you compare the Yoga 9i to its competitors, its results could be a bit better in certain categories, and there is a major limit of ports. Want a brighter screen? Go for the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1, though its battery life isn't as long. If you're not tied to Windows 10 or a convertible design, take a look at the Apple MacBook Air with M1, which has a nicer display and longer battery life. But just as with the XPS 13 2-in-1 and the Spectre x630 14, you're going to wind up spending a lot more to get the same specs. Otherwise, this 2-in-1 is everything you need.

Intel Iris Xe G7 80EUs: Integrierte Grafikkarte (in Tiger-Lake G4 SoCs) der Gen. 12 Architektur mit 80 EUs. Z.B. in Tiger Lake i5 CPUs verbaute iGPU.
Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.
