Das Lenovo Legion Pro 7i G10 mit der RTX 5080 war im letzten Jahr eines der schnellsten und besten Gaming-Laptops auf dem Markt. Auch nach über einem Jahr hat sich daran nichts verändert und die Variante mit der GeForce RTX 5090 kann problemlos mit der 18-Zoll-Konkurrenz mithalten.

Keine neuen Grafikkarten von Nvidia und nur ein kleines Update bei Intels HX-Mobilprozessoren - neue Gaming-Laptops haben es im Jahr 2026 schwer. Das muss für potenzielle Käufer aber kein Problem sein, denn damit bleiben die Geräte aus dem Jahr 2025 weiterhin aktuell und in der Regel zu geringeren Preisen. Das gilt auch für das Lenovo Legion Pro 7i 16 G10, einem der schnellsten Laptops mit der RTX 5080, die wir im letzten Jahr getestet haben.

Für 2026 haben wir uns noch einmal die schnellere Variante mit der schnellsten mobilen GPU, der GeForce RTX 5090 mit 24 GB VRAM ausprobiert, die derzeit ab etwa 3.800 Euro bei Lenovo verfügbar ist (bzw. rund 3.000 Euro mit der RTX 5080). Die GPU läuft erneut mit den maximalen 175 Watt und zusammen mit dem bekannten Core Ultra 9 275HX bekommt man hier eine extrem gute Leistung. Selbst vor den noch einmal deutlich größeren 18-Zoll-Konkurrenten wie dem Legion 9, Alienware 18 Area-51 oder dem Razer Blade 18 muss sich der 16-Zöller nicht verstecken. Dabei kommt die RTX 5090 auch problemlos mit Ray Tracing oder Path Tracing in der nativen WHQD-Auflösung zurecht.

Optisch ist das Legion ganz klar als Gamer zu erkennen und auch wenn es vielleicht nicht ganz so hochwertig wie beispielsweise das Razer Blade 16 ist, muss man sich hier keinerlei Sorgen um Verarbeitung oder Stabilität machen. Lenovo verbat zudem nach wie vor eine hervorragende Tastatur inklusive großem Nummernblock sowie großen Pfeiltasten. Ein weiteres Highlight ist der 240-Hz-OLED-Bildschirm, der eine hervorragende Bildqualität bietet und auch bei HDR-Inhalten mit einer Spitzenhelligkeit von mehr als 1.000 cd/m² überzeugen kann. PWM-Flackern ist zwar vorhanden, doch die Frequenz ist mit 1,4 kHz sehr hoch und sollte keine großen Probleme bereiten.

Wenn man die volle Leistung abruft werden die Lüfter natürlich deutlich hörbar, aber selbst im Performance-Modus bleibt die Geräuschkulisse noch einigermaßen erträglich.
