Poco F9 Ultra review: Moving in different circles
Quelle: Expert Reviews EN→DE
After taking a significant step forward with the Poco F8 Ultra, I was worried that Xiaomi had somewhat lost its direction with the follow-up. When it comes to design and performance, Xiaomi’s budget sub-brand seems to be treading water, while the camera is merely solid given the new higher price. This is another hugely capable media-focused phone with an excellent screen and unusually punchy audio.

The Poco F9 Ultra picks and chooses which aspects to excel at, which makes sense for a budget flagship. By no fault of its own, choosing its strengths in the face of price hikes also means it’s no longer the flagship killer it once was. When compared with previous models, the 16GB RAM + 1TB variant (also our review unit) is now S$350 more expensive, at S$1,699.

POCO F9 Ultra review: A Bose subwoofer was only the beginning of this completely over-the-top flagship
Quelle: Digital Trends EN→DE
I originally cared about it because somebody finally put a proper dedicated subwoofer inside a phone. After a month, that feature is still charming. I actively used the phone speakers more than usual, and that alone says something about whether the idea worked. The ultrawide and selfie cameras also lag behind the main and telephoto cameras. US availability is also not quite straightforward.

The Poco F9 Ultra does plenty very well and nothing poorly. It's not perfect — the camera system can be beat by others, the software takes some getting used to, and for some, the phone will feel a little too big and heavy. I tested the POCO F9 Ultra, and it is the value flagship I'd buy in 2026
Quelle: Android Central EN→DE
The F9 Ultra uses the same foundation as its predecessor, but comes with a new design, bigger battery that lasts two days without breaking a sweat, and a 200MP camera that takes great photos. You get the best onboard sound of any phone, but it has its share of issues — it overheats while gaming, doesn't have the latest version of Android, and video quality is average at best.

Poco F9 Ultra review: Decent upgrades
Quelle: Canbuyornot EN→DE
The Poco F9 Ultra launches today, about 10 months after its predecessor. That's quick, even for smartphones that refresh yearly. But somehow, Poco has managed to fit in some fairly decent upgrades, even if I doubt anyone still upgrades their phones every year. For starters, the display gets a big bump in peak brightness and refresh rate, while the camera and battery, too, get solid upgrades.

Xiaomi Poco F9 Pro im Test: Das erschwingliche Top-Smartphone
Quelle: Heise

Poco F9 Pro Review: Does It Beat the Flagship Price Tag?

The Poco F9 Pro is a good overall device. Packaging a flagship power level, smooth bright display, solid cameras, and battery that easily lasts all day with a tough, water resistant body. Poco F9 Pro Review: Great Value In A Premium Build
Quelle: BGR EN→DE
The Poco F9 Pro delivers on the flagship-killer premise more convincingly than most phones in this price range. It beats plenty of far more expensive phones on raw performance and has features that you won't find elsewhere, like the 185Hz refresh rate. There are compromises, like the ultrawide camera, but for many, those compromises won't be dealbreakers.

POCO F9 Pro Review

Overall, the POCO F9 Pro is a capable smartphone that delivers strong performance across multiple areas. It features a refined design, a bright and responsive display, an upgraded camera system, flagship-level performance, and flexible charging options, including wireless charging. While its higher price means it is no longer positioned as aggressively as some previous POCO models, the F9 Pro still offers a compelling package for users looking for flagship-level performance without reaching the price range of some ultra-premium smartphones.

So, does the POCO F9 Pro live up to that “complete flagship” feeling I mentioned earlier? For the most part, absolutely. Performance is clearly the star here. That 185Hz display, the surprisingly capable custom Snapdragon 9 Elite Gen 5 chip, and genuinely strong battery life all come together to make this one of the more well-rounded gaming phones to date. That alone could shift how good a deal this phone actually is.
