The ASUS U35Jc seems to be in many ways a series of trade-offs with the U30Jc, and that's disappointing because it really should have just been an improvement. The U35Jc sports a slightly faster processor, sheds a pound of weight thanks to ditching the optical drive, has a slimmer body, and marginally improved backlighting on the screen.

We've often felt that 13.3in notebooks hit a sweet-spot, and they seem to be getting sweeter by the day. ASUS's latest effort, the U35JC, is mighty close to offering it all. Both CPU and GPU performance is exceptional at this size, and the notebook manages to retain the other two must-have features; portability and a long-lasting battery.

NVIDIA GeForce 310M: Die GeForce 310M ist die Nachfolgerkarte der G 210M und technisch nur durch 30MHz mehr Shadertakt verschieden. Es gibt jedoch auch Versionen mit einem geringeren Kerntakt von 606 MHz.
Diese Karten können nur sehr alte und sehr anspruchslose 3D Spiele flüssig darstellen. Anwendungen wie Office, Internet surfen, Bildbearbeitung oder (SD) Videoschnitt sind jedoch ohne große Einschränkungen möglich.

370M: Der Core i3-370M taktet etwas höher als der Core i5-430M, jedoch ohne Turbo Boost und geringer getaktete GPU. Dadurch läuft die CPU mit maximal 2.4 GHz. Durch Hyperthreading werden bis zu 4 Threads gleichzeitig bearbeitet.
