Das neueste Mitglied der Asus-Familie ist das Asus ZenBook 13 UX325JA-AH024T. Asus ZenBook Laptops waren schon immer für Benutzer gedacht, die dünne und elegante Ultrabooks lieben, und dieses 13-Zoll-Notebook ist keine Ausnahme. Es ist ein kompetentes und tragbares Gerät für alltägliches Multitasking, Video-Streaming oder Office-Apps, es eignet sich jedoch nicht für anspruchsvollere Aufgaben. In Sachen Design unterscheidet sich dieses ZenBook 13 definitiv von den vorherigen 13-Zoll-Modellen (ZenBook UX331 und UX333). Es ist so groß wie ein A4-Blatt und klarerweise auch sehr leicht – mit 1,07 kg kann man es problemlos überall mitnehmen. Dank des kompakten Gehäuses passt das ZenBook 13 ohne Umstände in jeden Rucksack und vielleicht sogar bestimmte Handtaschen.

Farblich ist dieses Modell in zwei Varianten erhältlich, nämlich Grau und Lila, man kann also je nach Interesse wählen. Der schwarze Metall-Deckel des Laptops wurde mit dem charakteristischen Zen-Concentric-Motiv geschmückt, das recht exquisite Aussehen wird von dem goldenen Hersteller-Logo abgerundet. Sowohl die Außenseite des Deckels als auch die Unterschale bestehen größtenteils aus Metall. Die Aluminium-Legierung, aus der das Gehäuse gefertigt wurde, ist ziemlich leichtgewichtig, aber auch sehr robust. Fingerabdrücke und Staub sammeln sind zwar schnell an, man kann sie jedoch leicht wegwischen. Obwohl der Deckel dünn und leicht ist, ist es aufgrund der soliden Verarbeitung unmöglich, ihn zu beschädigen.

Was die Konnektivität angeht, so ist die Auswahl an Schnittstellen bei einem kompakten Gerät etwas begrenzt. Auf der linken Seite befinden sich zwei Thunderbolt-3-Anschlüsse mit Übertragungsraten von bis zu 40 Gbps, mit einem Adapter dienen sie auch als Netzanschluss oder als Schnittstelle für externe Monitore. Zudem gibt es einen gewöhnlichen HDMI-2.0-Anschluss. Auf der rechten Seite gibt es einen USB-3.2-Gen-1-Typ-A-Anschluss und einen Mikro-SD-Kartensteckplatz. Ein Kopfhöreranschluss fehlt bei diesem Notebook leider. Tastaturen waren bei der ZenBook-Reihe schon immer angenehm; bei diesem Modell wurde die Tastatur über die gesamte Arbeitsfläche ausgedehnt, wodurch die Tasten noch größer und komfortabler geworden sind. Dies trägt definitiv zu einem erstklassigen Benutzer-Erlebnis bei. Alles in allem hat dieser Laptop bestimmte Vorteile, die Wahl bleibt aber natürlich subjektiv und von den Vorlieben des Benutzers abhängig.

All in all, I think that the ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED (UX325) is a pretty good laptop that’s fit for both work and play. It has a very aesthetically pleasing design, an absolute beauty of an OLED screen, solid build quality, exceptional speaker performance, fantastic battery life, bundled Microsoft Office and while it performs decently when gaming though it is clear this laptop is not made for hardcore gaming. There are some niggling issues though such as the stiff keyboard keys, inconsistent trackpad sensitivity, lack of a 3.5mm headphone jack and problems with the included Type-C to 3.5mm adapter. At the end of the day, the positives of the ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED (UX325) far outweigh the negatives and would be a very good choice for those looking for a capable work laptop that suits both home and office, especially if you appreciate a good display with vibrant, accurate colours and true, deep blacks.

I highly suggest you buy the cheaper Core i5 version instead as this laptop isn’t made to do heavy tasks anyway, so the Core i7 doesn’t really make much sense. Also, both variants have the exact same 8GB RAM and 512GB of SSD, including the same 67Wh battery too. I just don’t think that the RM700 price gap is justifiable. Also, the RM4,299 price tag for this laptop is quite a good price. There aren’t many choices for OLED laptops now, and the ASUS ZenBook series is an obvious choice for now.

The ZenBook 13 is proof of Asus’ continued commitment to solving snags and making our lives easier. The ZenBook 13 may not have been able to surpass the beastly Acer Swift 5 on our benchmarks, but it crushed the Dell XPS 13 and the HP Spectre x360 13 on the graphics and file-transfer tests. It also blew all of its rivals out of the water with its extremely colorful OLED display. The clicky keyboard is impressive, too — especially for such a compact, portable laptop. Laptops with 13-inch displays typically feel cramped, but I felt comfortable typing on the ZenBook 13.

Right now I myself really want to buy the ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED (UX325). I am so used to it that it will be very difficult for me to go back to my Huawei MateBook X Pro now. The ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED (UX325) has a stunningly elegant design, compact size, great build and a fantastic display. It’s almost perfect. Of course, it is worth mentioning the keyboard, which takes getting used to in the early days, the sometimes annoying random operation of the NumPad, and the small number of ports, but all these disadvantages are covered by one significant plus – the OLED display. You need to see it for yourself. Who should buy it? The ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED (UX325) is not your typical ultrabook. It is a powerful machine for those looking for the visual benefits of an OLED screen in a lightweight and portable design.

Asus: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. ist ein großer taiwanesischer Hersteller von Computer-Hardware mit Sitz in Taipeh, gegründet 1989. Unter dem Markennamen Asus fertigt das Unternehmen eine breite Palette von Produkten, darunter Laptops, Desktops, Motherboards, Grafikkarten, Monitore, Smartphones und Netzwerkgeräte, Komplettsysteme und PC-Bauteile für Endkunden.

Unter dem Markennamen ROG (Republic of Gamers) stellt ASUS Gaming-Laptops her, die bei Spielern für ihre leistungsstarken Spezifikationen, dedizierten Grafikkarten, Displays mit hoher Bildwiederholrate und fortschrittlichen Kühlsystemen bekannt sind.

Über das Gaming hinaus werden eine breite Palette von Notebooks für unterschiedliche Anforderungen und Budgets geboten: von ultraschlanken und leichten Ultrabooks bis hin zu vielseitigen 2-in-1-Convertibles und budgetfreundlichen Optionen. 2023 hatte Asus einen Weltmarktanteil von 7% am PC-Markts.

Die Kundenzufriedenheit mit ASUS-Notebooks betrifft Leistung, die Funktionen und das gute Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis der ASUS-Notebooks. Wie bei jeder Marke gibt es jedoch gelegentlich Berichte über Probleme wie Überhitzung, Treiberkompatibilität oder Probleme mit der Verarbeitungsqualität.

Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.

Intel UHD Graphics G1 (Ice Lake 32 EU): Integrierte Grafikkarte (in Ice-Lake G1 SoCs) der Gen. 11 Architektur mit 32 der 64 EUs (Shader-Cluster). Taktet mit 300 MHz Basistakt und 1050 bzw. 1100 MHz Boost (erste Modelle). Der Ice-Lake-Chip wird im modernen 10nm Verfahren bei Intel gefertigt und soll mit 7nm bei TSMC mithalten können.

Intel Iris Xe G7 96EUs: Integrierte Grafikkarte (in Tiger-Lake G7 SoCs) der Gen. 12 Architektur mit 96 EUs.

Intel Iris Xe G7 80EUs: Integrierte Grafikkarte (in Tiger-Lake G4 SoCs) der Gen. 12 Architektur mit 80 EUs. Z.B. in Tiger Lake i5 CPUs verbaute iGPU.

Intel Iris Plus Graphics G4 (Ice Lake 48 EU): Integrierte Grafikkarte (in Ice-Lake G4 SoCs) der Gen. 11 Architektur mit 48 der 64 EUs (Shader-Cluster). Intel Tiger Lake:

i5-1135G7: Auf der Tiger-Lake-Architektur basierender ULV-SoC (System-on-a-Chip) für schlanke Notebooks und Ultrabooks. Integriert unter anderem vier CPU-Kerne mit 2,4 - 4,2 GHz und HyperThreading sowie eine starke G7 Grafikeinheit mit 80 Eus und wird in 10-Nanometer-Technik gefertigt (10nm+).
