EN→DE Archive.org versionI have no major complaints about the Dell G3 15, except for a dull display. I wish Dell had worked a bit more on improving the display. That said, I still think the G3 is really a laptop designed for those new to PC gaming. Where I think the Dell G3 earns points is how it successfully manages to offer a near-desktop-quality gaming experience in a laptop form factor. If you are okay with an AMD processor, then you can go with Asus ROG Zephyrus G and it will be as good as any other gaming laptop in this price segment. Not only does it offers a 120Hz display, but you also get 16GB RAM and better design. The ROG Zephyrus G will set you back by Rs 82,990.

EN→DE Archive.org versionThe Dell G3 is a powerful entry-level gaming laptop that offers a good array of ports, great battery life for a gaming laptop, a smooth touchpad, and a well-built chassis. The display is slightly underwhelming, the keyboard is good but with some smaller keys like the arrows, and the biggest factor to consider is price. In India, the variant of the Dell G3 we were sent for review retails for around Rs. 90,000. For that price, you can find something more powerful in terms of a better GPU, or if you want similar specs, options from Asus or MSI are priced much lower for the same hardware.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Mobile: Mid-Range Notebook-Grafikkarte basierend auf der Desktop GTX 1650 mit Turing Architektur. Bietet keine Raytracing und Tensor-Kerne im Gegensatz zu den stärkeren RTX 2000 Modellen. Die Leistung soll etwas oberhalb der alten GTX 1050 Ti liegen. Es gibt eine Variante mit 1024 und eine mit 896 Shader.
Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.
