That being said, the HP Elite Dragonfly is not a bad laptop at all. If you want a laptop with a muted aesthetic, extremely portable due to its weight, and durable build quality, then the HP Elite Dragonfly would be a great option. I can’t believe this is a business laptop. Probably because I really, really want the HP Elite Dragonfly to be my new laptop around town. The only thing stopping it for me is the addition of Intel vPro technology which relegates the Dragonfly to an 8th Gen processor. Outside of that, the laptop is almost perfect. It’s gorgeous and durable with a bright display and comfortable keyboard and it gets nearly 13 hours of battery life. Sure, the audio needs work, but like I said: almost perfect.

HP Elite Dragonfly wird als der Firmenlaptop bezeichnet, der zu gut für einen Chef ist, und hat auf seine Weise definitiv einige Herzen gewonnen. Dieser Laptop war mit seiner fingerabdruckresistenten Oberfläche und seinem schulterfreundlichen Gewicht definitiv für die Profis im Unternehmen gedacht. Dieser Laptop wird mit einem Gewicht von 2,2 Pfund und einem 38-Wattstunden-Akku geliefert. Diese Akkukapazität reicht zwar für Aktivitäten in der Vorstandsetage und für allgemeine Aufgaben aus, aber es besteht auch die Möglichkeit, gegen Aufpreis einen 55-Wattstunden-Akku zu erwerben. Nun, der größere Akku ist keineswegs eine schlechte Option, da er das Gesamtgewicht des Laptops nur um 3 Unzen erhöht, so dass er 2,5 Pfund wiegt, was immer noch tragbar ist. Das Elite Dragonfly hat auch neun MIL-STD-Falltests in Fall-, Schock- und Vibrationstests bestanden, für diejenigen, die dazu neigen, den Laptop während der Benutzung fallen zu lassen.

Obwohl es viele blaue Laptops mit minimalem Bezel-Design gibt, sollte man bei Elite Dragonfly auf jeden Fall auf den perlmuttartig matt-blauen Farbton achten, der durch seine oleophobe Beschichtung sowohl intelligent als auch relativ fingerabdruckresistent ist.

Die Tastatur sticht wirklich hervor, da HP jedes Tastengehäuse der spritzwassergeschützten, hintergrundbeleuchteten Premium Collaboration-Tastatur CNC-entwickelt hat, was zu einer guten und festen Aktion geführt hat, die für die Benutzer nicht zu laut ist. Andererseits funktioniert auch das gläserne Multi-Touch-Touchpad unter der Tastatur reibungslos, was den allgemeinen Benutzerkomfort und die Bequemlichkeit bei der Benutzung des Geräts erhöht. Genau wie die meisten Premium-Notebooks für Unternehmen hat sich HP Elite Dragonfly für den Einsatz des Intel Core i7-8665U der 8. Im Hinblick auf seine Leistung bietet er 200MHz höhere Taktfrequenzen im Turbo Boost und 100MHz höhere Basistakte auf dem Papier. Aber das Wichtigste, was hier zu beachten ist, ist seine Fähigkeit, Intels vPro-Funktion zu unterstützen, die eine einfachere Verwaltung des Laptops in einer Flottenumgebung ermöglicht, in der mit 200 oder 2000 gerechnet werden muss. Der Prozessor unterstützt auch Intels TSX-NI- und Stable-Platform-Funktionen. Insgesamt verspricht Elite Dragonfly definitiv eine gute Leistung, eine erstaunliche Akkulaufzeit und ein wirklich stilvolles Design für die Benutzer da draußen.

Intel UHD Graphics 620: Integrierte Grafikkarte (GT2-Ausbau, 24 EUs), welche in einigen Kaby-Lake-CPUs (Refresh, ULV-Modelle, 15 Watt TDP) verbaut wird. Technisch identisch zur HD Graphics 620 in den Kaby-Lake Modellen aus 2016.

Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.

i7-8565U: Auf der Whiskey Lake / Kaby-Lake-Architektur basierender ULV-SoC (System-on-a-Chip) für schlanke Notebooks und Ultrabooks.
