Oppo könnte mit dem R15 und vor allem dem R15 Pro die Mittelklasse auch hierzulande ordentlich aufmischen. Sowohl die Spezifikationen als auch die Verarbeitung überzeugen auf ganzer Linie. Vor einem Launch in Europa bräuchte sich Oppo nicht zu fürchten und preislich könnten die Geräte gut mithalten. Einzig bei der Software wären einige Anpassungen nötig.

At 3,299 yuan (~$520) for the Ruby Red model and 3,499 yuan (~$555) for the Infinity Black, it’s hard to whole-heartedly recommend the Oppo R15 Pro. OnePlus will announce the OnePlus 6 soon. It will have much of the same body and likely fix many of my gripes with this thing. Beyond that, it will almost certainly be priced less the R15 Pro, which makes it a no-brainer compared to this model.

If you decide you’re not bothered about updates though, then the R15 Pro is a well built and delivered phone. While we’ve taken issue with Color OS in the past, and continue to find some quirks with the way it implements some things, on this device it seems to deliver most of what we expect in an Android phone – its something you could learn to live with if you’re coming from a more standard Android platform. There’s great specs and a decent mid-range camera on offer, making it a typical – but pricey – Oppo smartphone.

Qualcomm Adreno 512: Grafikchip für Smartphones und Tablets, integriert im Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC. Basiert auf die 500er Grafikarchitektur wie der schnellere Adreno 520 im Snapdragon 820. Qualcomm gibt bis zu 30% höhere Performance an (wahrscheinlich im Vergleich zum Adreno 510).

Diese Karten können nur sehr alte und sehr anspruchslose 3D Spiele flüssig darstellen.  Anwendungen wie Office, Internet surfen, Bildbearbeitung oder (SD) Videoschnitt sind jedoch ohne große Einschränkungen möglich.
