The Sony Vaio Z is a very strange beast indeed. Its marketing slogan is “no compromises”, yet at almost every turn, we see a compromise made. That’s not to say the machine itself is no good, rather we see them as compromises made to make the Sony Vaio Z better in other ways instead. If you’d keep your eyes peeled, you’d realize that there is no machine out in the market that is as small, as sexy or as powerful as the Sony Vaio Z.

The 13.1in Sony VAIO Z Series is one of the most expensive ultraportable laptops on the market. While the Sony Z Series definitely has a 'wow' factor, it's a 'wow' factor that is mostly a reaction to: "so how much does it cost?". But hey, if you can afford it, then you'll end up with a 1.15kg, super-slim laptop that also features high-end processing performance and very fast drive speeds.

Intel HD Graphics 3000: In Sandy Bridge Prozessoren (Core ix-2xxx) integrierte Grafikkarte von Intel. Stärkere GT2 genannte Version mit 12 Execution Units (EUs). Je nach Modell mit unterschiedlichen Taktraten (350-650MHz) und TurboBoost Unterstützung (900-1350MHz).

Diese Karten können nur sehr alte und sehr anspruchslose 3D Spiele flüssig darstellen.  Anwendungen wie Office, Internet surfen, Bildbearbeitung oder (SD) Videoschnitt sind jedoch ohne große Einschränkungen möglich.
