Das Vivo V7 ist ein gelungenes Smartphone, wenngleich es keinen großen Verlust darstellt, dass das Handy hier in Deutschland nicht gekauft werden kann. Die Verarbeitung ist sauber und das Handy aufgrund seines Kunststoff-Gehäuses angenehm leicht. Allerdings ist das Smartphone weniger edel als die meisten Handys in seinem Preisbereich.

At around Rs 17,000, the V7 is a very poor choice of phone. Virtually every phone that you can buy in the same price range is cheaper, significantly more powerful and offers a higher resolution display. Better options include the Mi A1, the Moto G5s Plus and the Huawei 7x. Even the Redmi Note 4 for Rs 12,999 is a more powerful option with a comparable rear camera.

Overall, the Vivo V7 is decent mid-range smartphone with a FullView 18:9 display in a compact body, good selfie camera and battery life. The phone has dedicated SIM and microSD card slots and the Snapdragon 450 is good enough to power its HD+ screen, but a Snapdragon 625 / 630 and a Full HD+ screen would have been better for the phone in this price range to compete with mid-range Honor phones and the Xiaomi Mi A1.

In our experience with the Vivo V7, we found that the front camera does a good job of taking selfies, and the design is familiar but still more manageable compared to the V7+. Battery life is also good, despite the slight reduction in capacity. On the other hand, the competition is pretty fierce, and so a plastic body and HD screen don't really cut it anymore. Vivo’s interface is also starting to feel dated , and it's time the company overhauled it and also made it lighter.

Modell: Das Vivo V7 ist etwas kleiner als das Vivo V7+ und unterscheidet sich etwas von diesem. Es verfügt über einen 5,7-Zoll-Bildschirm (V7+: 5,99 Zoll), der in HD 720p bei einem Seitenverhältnis von 18:9 auflöst. Im Inneren arbeiten der gleiche Octa-Core Snapdragon 450 Prozessor in Kombination mit 4 GB RAM. In puncto Massenspeicher bietet das V7 eine kleinere Kapazität von 32 GB, die auch via MicroSD-Kartenslot um bis zu 256 GB erweitert werden kann. Suchen Sie eine preisgünstige und kompakte Alternative, so kostet Vivo V7 weniger. Das V7 fühlt sich in der Hand viel leichter an, bleibt aber beim Vollmetall-Unibody-Gehäuse mit dem gleichen Zwillingsstreifen-Design für das Antennen-Band. Mit einer Breite von 72,8 mm schaffte es Vivo einen 5,7-Zoll-Bildschirm in ein 5,2-Zoll-Smartphone-Gehäuse zu quetschen. Zudem ist das Phone handlicher, sodass es sich von Menschen mit kleinen Händen leichter mit einer Hand bedienen lässt. Einhändige Nutzung wird also nicht zum Kampf mit dem Phone. Es stehen zwei Farben zur Auswahl, nämlich Crown Gold und Matte Black. Obwohl es sich um ein preisgünstigeres Gerät handelt, bleibt Vivo beim gleichen Kamera-Setup. Es verfügt über eine 16-MP-f/2.0-Hauptkamera und eine 24-MP-f/2.0-Frontkamera, die über ein eigenes Selfie-Softlight verfügt. Die Aufnahmequalität ist für den Preis gut genug, obwohl das Phone bei Aufnahmen unter schlechten Lichtbedingungen etwas strauchelt. Selfies sind klar und knackig, was nicht überrascht, denn Vivo-Phones konzentrieren sich auf gute Selfies.

Das V7 nutzt einen Bildschirm mit einem Seitenverhältnis von 18:9. Das Phone hat ein etwas größeres Panel als andere Phone mit gleicher Gesamtgröße. Die seitlichen Rahmen sind so dick wie beim V7+ und es gibt noch immer einen deutlichen oberen und unteren Rahmen, obwohl dieser um einiges schlanker als bei Phones, die nicht dieses einzigartige Seitenverhältnis aufweisen, ist. Wegen der HD+-Auflösung ist die Pixeldichte ziemlich gering. Positiv ist, dass der Bildschirm selbst gut aussieht. Die Farben sind dank des IPS-Panels lebendig. Das Vivo V7 wird von einem 3.000-mAh-Akku mit Strom versorgt. Damit ist die Akkukapazität etwas kleiner als beim V7+ (3.220 mAh). Im Auslieferungszustand läuft das Phone unter Android 7.1 mit einer von iOS-inspirierten Funtouch OS 3.2 Benutzeroberfläche. Wovon die Benutzeroberfläche inspiriert ist, ist nicht schwer zu erkennen – vor allem nicht, was die Schnittstelle und die User-Interaktion (Wischen von der Unterkante nach oben zeigt die Einstellungen des Phones) anbelangt, doch nach einiger Zeit werden sich die User daran gewöhnen. Die Akkulaufzeit des V7 ist ziemlich gut. Der Snapdragon 450 ist kein stromfressendes Chipset und das Phone schafft es bei gemäßigter Nutzung einen ganzen Tag lang mit einer Ladung durchzuhalten. Fast-Charging wird allerdings nicht unterstützt, daher werden User wahrscheinlich sicherstellen wollen, dass das Gerät geladen ist, bevor sie aufbrechen. Allerdings könnten die niedrigere Bildschirmauflösung und der Prozessor Stromsparen helfen. Das V7 ist eine etwas billigere Version des bereits berühmten V7+. In vielerlei Hinsicht konkurriert es mit seinem eigenen Bruder.
