Der Intel Core i9-10850K ist eine High-End-CPU mit zehn Kernen auf Basis der neuen Comet-Lake-Architektur, die Ende April 2020 bereits angekündigt wurde. Der Prozessor taktet mit 3,6-5,2 GHz und kann dank Hyperthreading bis zu 20 Threads gleichzeitig bearbeiten. Gefertigt wird der Intel Core i9-10850K weiterhin im 14-nm-Prozess. Dank des freien Multiplikators lässt sich der Prozessor vergleichsweise einfach übertakten. Voraussetzung hierfür ist jedoch ein Mainboard mit Z490 Chipsatz.

Performance

Im Vergleich zum Intel Core i9-10900K ist der Intel Core i9-10850K nur minimal langsamer als ein Intel Core i9-10900K. Gleichwohl bietet der i9-10850K ebenfalls 10 Kerne und 20 Threads, was den Prozessor für intensive Workloads sehr attraktiv macht. Die schlechte Verfügbarkeit des Core i9-10900K war wohl einer der Hauptgründe, den Core i9-10850K ins Leben zu rufen. Neben der guten Systemleistung fühlt sich der Core i9-10850K auch beim Spielen pudelwohl.

Grafikeinheit

Wie schon das Top-Modell bietet auch der Intel Core i9-10850K mit der Intel UHD Graphics 630 eine iGPU. Aufgrund der geringen Leistung eignet sich diese allerdings nur für den 2D-Betrieb. Als Low-End-Lösung können aktuelle Videospiele, wenn überhaupt, lediglich in verminderter Detailstufe flüssig wiedergegeben werden. 

Leistungsaufnahme

Bei der Leistungsaufnahme sind sich die beiden Core i9-Modelle sehr ähnlich, was auch kein Wunder ist, denn rein technisch sind diese beiden Prozessoren identisch aufgebaut. Somit hat auch der Intel Core i9-10850K eine TDP von 125 Watt (PL1). Doch richtig energiehungrig wird der Prozessor erst, wenn der Boost zum Tragen kommt. Hier können es dann auch schon mal bis zu 250 Watt sein, wenn die Rahmenbedingungen stimmen.

Intel Core i3-10100F

Der Intel Core i3-10100F ist ein Desktop-Prozessor mit vier Kernen auf Basis der Comet Lake S-Architektur. Der Prozessor taktet mit 3,6-4,3 GHz und kann insgesamt bis zu 8 Threads gleichzeitig bearbeiten. Gefertigt wird der Intel Core i3-10100F im verbesserten 14-nm-Prozess (14nm++). Im Vergleich zum älteren i3-9100F (Comet Lake-S) bietet der 10100F einen 100 MHz höheren Turbo-Takt, Multithreading und Support für schnelleren DDR4-2666 Speicher.

Performance

Die Leistung sollte nur leicht oberhalb des Core i3-9100F im Einstiegsbereich für Desktop-CPUs liegen. Dadurch reicht die Leistung für Office und anspruchsloses Gaming.

Grafikeinheit

Beim Intel Core i3-10100F handelt es sich um einen Prozessor ohne integrierte Grafikeinheit. 

Leistungsaufnahme

Intel beziffert die Thermal Design Power (TDP) auf 65 Watt. Somit Bedarf es keiner großen Kühlsysteme, was auch den Einbau in sehr kompakten Gehäusen ermöglicht.
