AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 enttäuscht in unseren Benchmarks

Laptops mit der AMD Ryzen AI 400-Serie sind inzwischen weit verbreitet und dienen als Ersatz für die auslaufende Ryzen AI 300-Serie. Ein bestimmtes Modell ist der Ryzen AI 7 445, der in Mittelklasse- bis höherwertigen Geräten wie dem aktuellen Lenovo Yoga 7 2-in-1 16 zu finden ist. Leider bietet die neuere CPU nur wenig Mehrwert.
Wie in den Vergleichstabellen unten zu sehen ist, ist der AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 in Bezug auf die reine Prozessorleistung kaum schneller als der deutlich effizientere Intel Core Ultra 7 256V, während er bei der integrierten Grafikleistung spürbar schlechter abschneidet. Tatsächlich liegt die CPU im Wesentlichen auf dem Niveau des älteren und günstigeren AMD Ryzen AI 5 340. Ein genauerer Blick auf die technischen Daten zeigt, dass der AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 und der AMD Ryzen AI 5 340 nahezu identisch sind und somit praktisch die gleichen Leistungswerte erreichen.
Ein besonders enttäuschender Aspekt des AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 ist, dass es sich um den ersten mobilen Prozessor der Ryzen AI 7-Reihe handelt, der nur über 6 anstelle von 8 Cores verfügt. Es lässt sich daher gut argumentieren, dass der AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 eigentlich als Ryzen AI 5-Modell hätte eingeordnet werden müssen, insbesondere da die CPU nur die Hälfte des L3-Caches im Vergleich zum AMD Ryzen AI 5 340 bietet. Wer beim nächsten Laptop-Kauf etwas Geld sparen möchte, der sollte also den günstigeren AMD Ryzen AI 5 340 in Betracht ziehen, da dessen Leistung nahezu identisch mit der des AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 ist.
