The construction is firm and a bit rigid around the hinge but it posed no problems with the opening and closing of the lid. The Yoga 7i is as light as a 14-inch laptop can get and is backed up by a decent battery to see it through a day of usage. While my review unit is priced at Rs 99,990, the i5 version of the device carries a \ price tag of Rs 85,990. I think that the Yoga 7i is a compelling everyday machine with the right balance of performance, style, and portability and as such is on top of my recommendations list. You have the option to go with bulkier contenders like the Asus TUF F15 or the Dell G5 (review) for a better gaming experience or switch to the M1 MacBook Air… but if your work doesn’t involve a lot of graphics-related tasks and you want to take the Windows route, the Yoga 7i should suffice easily.

EN→DESome notebooks these days require us to nit-pick so hard… this is the case with the Yoga 7i (14″, 2022), which is one of the most solid 14-inch convertibles on the market. Its redesign makes it feel fresh, while the feature package is beyond impressive. Lenovo has paired it with a quad-stereo speaker setup and provides you with not one, but two biometric authentication sensors – a fingerprint reader, and an IR face recognition scanner. Furthermore, the latter is working in conjunction with a 1080p Web camera, which is an improvement by itself. Add a privacy shutter to the mix, and you end up with a rather secure and private little machine. Lenovo Yoga 7i (14″, 2022)’s 2.2K IPS panel has comfortable viewing angles and a very high contrast ratio. It covers 97% of the sRGB color gamut, which is pretty wide and results in a rather vibrant color output. Furthermore, it doesn’t use PWM for brightness adjustment. What is equally important for creators and designers is that the color accuracy is right within the sRGB standard.

We also said last year's model was the best midranger, and it's made better by the OLED being the only available configuration in the U.S. Elsewhere, you should still skip the IPS panel (it's not good), but you could go for the 2.8K OLED if you want higher resolution and a faster refresh rate. Lenovo's pricing is constantly shifting, but as tested, you can get this laptop for under $930 directly from the manufacturer, an even better value than last year's model. How often can you say that the new thing is cheaper than the old one, especially during economic uncertainty? You'll want the AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 variant; the 340 version has a weaker GPU and is overall slower, but they have the same typing feel and a touchpad that feels like it's glass (it's not) and nails the basics that anyone could ask from a midrange device.

You'll want the AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 variant; the 340 version has a weaker GPU and is overall slower, but they have the same typing feel and a touchpad that feels like it's glass (it's not) and nails the basics that anyone could ask from a midrange device.

Das Yoga 7 2-in-1 von Lenovo ist nicht nur – wie es der Name bereits verrät – ein extrem vielseitiges Notebook, sondern existiert auch in diversen Ausstattungsvarianten. Wir haben uns ein Modell mit dem bisher ungetesteten Ryzen AI 5 340 geschnappt und vergleichen die Performance mit den Geschwistern.

Lenovo:
Lenovo („Le“ vom englischen legend, novo (Latein) für neu) wurde 1984 als chinesische Computerhandelsfirma gegründet. Ab 2004 war die Firma der größte Laptop-Hersteller Chinas und nach der Übernahme der PC-Sparte von IBM im Jahr 2005 der viertgrößte weltweit. Neben Desktops und Notebooks stellt das Unternehmen Monitore, Beamer, Server etc her und hat sich auf die Entwicklung, Herstellung und Vermarktung von Unterhaltungselektronik, Personalcomputern, Software, Unternehmenslösungen und damit verbundenen Dienstleistungen spezialisiert.
Im Jahr 2016 belegte das Unternehmen weltweit den ersten Platz bei den Computerverkäufen. Auch 2023 hatte es ihn noch inne bei ca 23% Weltmarktanteil. Wichtige Produktreihen sind Thinkpad, Legion und Ideapad.
2011 wurde die Mehrheit der Medion AG übernommen, einem europäischen Computer-Hardware-Hersteller. 2014 wurde Motorola Mobility gekauft, wodurch Lenovo einen Schub am Smartphone-Markt erreichte.
Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.

14 Zoll Display-Grösse stellt ein Mittelding zwischen den kleinen Subnotebook-Formaten und den Bildschirmen der 15 Zoll-Standard-Laptops dar.
Der Grund der Beliebtheit mittelgrosser Displays ist, dass diese Größe einigermaßen augenschonend ist, gute Auflösungen mit brauchbaren Detailgrößen liefern und dennoch nicht allzu viel Strom verbraucht und die Geräte noch halbwegs kompakt sein können.
Früher waren 14 Zoll-Geräte sehr selten, jetzt stellen sie nach den 15-Zollern den Standard bei Laptops dar.
16.00: Dieser Bereich für Displayformate war und ist eine Seltenheit. Es ist größer als der allgemeine Standard von 15 Zoll, aber noch nicht im Bereich der großen Workstations. Man hat üblicherweise höhere Bildschirmauflösungen zur Verfügung, darunter leidet aber auch die Portabilität.
