Acer Computer sind für verschiedene Zwecke geeignet, z. B. Ultrabooks für den mobilen Einsatz, Gaming-Laptops für Gamer, preisgünstige Optionen für alltägliche Aufgaben und 2-in-1-Convertible-Laptops für Vielseitigkeit. 14 Zoll Display-Grösse stellt ein Mittelding zwischen den kleinen Subnotebook-Formaten und den Bildschirmen der 15 Zoll-Standard-Laptops dar.
