Das Inspiron 14 Plus bringt für einen 14-Zoll-Laptop jede Menge Power mit, dafür sorgen die Gen12-Core-H-CPU sowie die GeForce-RTX-Grafikkarte. Und so ist das Gerät eine gute Lösung für alle, die sich etwas mehr Leistung als bei einem normalen Ultrabook wünschen und gleichzeitig weniger ausgeben wollen als für ein Asus Zephyrus G14 oder Razer Blade 14.

For an architecture or engineering student, a life or farming sim gamer, or a person with an unpredictable workload, its balance of core performance, graphics power, portability, and affordability would be a perfect fit. For everyone else, it’s simply a fast computer with a gorgeous chassis, decent battery life, and a good display. There aren’t many laptops like the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus these days—most are made with only power or portability in mind at this price range, and laptops with both power and portability are notably more expensive. For instance, the Acer Swift X has a slightly weaker processor, a slightly stronger graphics card, and a nine-hour battery life for under $1,000 at full price. If you wait for a sale, the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 is an excellent all-arounder with strong graphics performance, a nine-hour battery life, and sophisticated design. While it costs $1,500 or more at full price, we’ve seen it go as low as $1,100. The Inspiron 14 Plus is one of those laptops that’s obviously good but hard to quantify—it doesn’t top charts with performance, nor does it have some outstanding gimmick, but the attention to detail across every part of the user experience creates something special. Unless you need a powerhouse of a machine, a sublime audio experience, or ten hours of battery life, it’s hard to imagine who wouldn’t be pleased with this laptop.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 4GB Laptop GPU: Mobile Gaming-Grafikkarte die wahrscheinlich auf den GA107 Chip basiert. Bietet 2048 GPU Kerne und ist in verschiedenen TGP Varianten von 35 - 80 Watt erhältlich. Je nach Variante kann die Leistung deutlich variieren, da auch die Taktraten unterschiedlich ausfallen. Ältere Version mit 4 GB VRAM.
Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.
