Der AMD Ryzen 3 PRO 4450U ist ein Mobilprozessor für kleine und leichte Notebooks basierend auf die Renoir Generation. Der SoC beinhaltet vier Zen 2 Kerne (Quad-Core CPU) (mit SMT/Hyperthreading = 8 Threads) welche von 2,5 (garantierter Basistakt) bis zu 3,7 GHz getaktet werden (Turbo). Der Chip wird im modernen 7nm Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt und soll laut AMD eine 2x verbesserte Performance pro Watt bieten als die Ryzen 3000 APUs (z.B. den Ryzen 3 PRO 3300U Vorgänger).

Die PRO-Variante bietet zusätzliche Sicherheits- und Managementfunktionen. AMD Memory Guard, Unterstützung für Microsoft Endpoint Manager und garantierte Stabilität und Ersatzteilverfügbarkeit zeichnet die PRO-Serie aus.

Durch die neuen Zen 2 Kerne und die hohe Taktfrequenz, sollte der Ryzen 3 4450U etwas oberhalb  des alten Ryzen 5 PRO 3500U einreihen. Die schnelleren Ryzen 5 4000er und Ryzen 7 4000er Modelle bieten mehr Kerne und damit auch eine deutlich höhere Multithread-Leistung.

Der SoC integriert neben den sechs Prozessorkernen noch eine Radeon RX Vega 5 Grafikkarte mit 5 CUs und bis zu 1400 MHz Takt, einen Dual-Channel DDR4-3200 / LPDDR4-4266 Speicherkontroller und 4 MB Level 3 Cache. Der TDP ist laut AMD von 10 - 25 Watt konfigurierbar (15 Watt Default). Daher ist der Chip auch für kleine und leichte Notebooks geeignet.

Der AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 4750U ist ein Mobilprozessor für kleine und leichte Notebooks basierend auf die Renoir Generation. Der SoC beinhaltet acht Zen 2 Kerne (Octa-Core CPU) (mit SMT/Hyperthreading = 16 Threads) welche mit bis zu 4,1 GHz getaktet werden (Turbo). Der garantierte Basistakt ist jedoch nur 1,7 GHz und damit deutlich niedriger als beim Ryzen 7 4700U (der dafür aber über kein SMT verfügt). Der Chip wird im modernen 7nm Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt und soll laut AMD eine 2x verbesserte Performance pro Watt bieten als die Ryzen 3000 APUs (z.B. den Ryzen 7 PRO 3700U Vorgänger).

Die PRO-Variante bietet zusätzliche Sicherheits- und Managementfunktionen. AMD Memory Guard, Unterstützung für Microsoft Endpoint Manager und garantierte Stabilität und Ersatzteilverfügbarkeit zeichnet die PRO-Serie aus.

Durch den SMT Support und den identischen Boost-Taktraten sollte die Performance des Ryzen 7 PRO 4750U bei idealer Kühlung etwas besser als beim Ryzen 7 4700U ausfallen. Dieser bietet jedoch einen höheren garantierten Basistakt, wodurch er in manchen Szenarien im Vorteil sein könnte. Damit gehört er zu den schnellsten 15-Watt-Prozessoren derzeit (hinter dem Ryzen 7 4800U) und ist die schnellste 15-Watt-PRO-CPU zum Launch.

Der SoC integriert neben den acht Prozessorkernen noch eine Radeon RX Vega 7 Grafikkarte mit 7 CUs und bis zu 1600 MHz Takt, einen Dual-Channel DDR4-3200 / LPDDR4-4266 Speicherkontroller und 8 MB Level 3 Cache.
