Leistungshungrige Nutzer sollten das ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 11 mit dem Core Ultra X7 bestücken
Die meisten 2026er Konfigurationen des ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 erreichen wegen des Aufbaus der Panther-Lake-Reihe eine geringere Grafikleistung als das ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 aus dem Jahr 2025.

Lenovo liefert mittlerweile das ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 11 aus dem Modelljahr 2026 aus, womit das Gen-10-Modell von 2025 abgelöst wird. Einer der wichtigsten Unterschiede ist der Wechsel von Intel Lunar Lake auf Panther Lake, denn je nach Konfiguration fällt die neue CPU deutlich schneller aus. Wer allerdings vor allem auf Leistung achtet, findet nur eine besonders interessante Variante, und diese ist zugleich die teuerste.

Das neue ThinkPad lässt sich mit Core Ultra 5 325, Ultra 5 335, Ultra 7 355, Ultra 7 365, Ultra 7 366H oder Ultra X7 368H konfigurieren. Alle Optionen nutzen im Grunde dieselbe integrierte Xe3-GPU, mit Ausnahme des Ultra X7, der mit der integrierten Arc B390 ausgestattet ist. Wie bereits in vielen unserer Tests beschrieben, fällt die Grafikleistung von Panther Lake recht schwach aus, bis die Arc B390 ins Spiel kommt. Erst dann steigt die Leistung laut unseren Vergleichsdiagrammen unten um bis zu das 2,5-Fache.

Die Xe3-iGPU in Panther Lake ist so langsam, dass sogar die Lunar-Lake-GPU Arc 140V im älteren ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 10 fast alle Varianten des neueren ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 11 übertreffen kann.

ThinkPads mit Core Ultra X7 und Arc B390 sind allerdings nicht unbedingt günstig. Wer auf maximale Leistung aus ist, sollte dementsprechend mehr Geld einplanen. Eine solche Konfiguration dürfte jedoch ohne Weiteres zu den schnellsten ThinkPads im 14-Zoll-Segment gehören.
