EN→DEAfter years of refining its camera-first philosophy, Oppo’s Find series has quietly matured into one of the most technically ambitious flagship lines in India. Last year’s Find X8 Pro showed promising intent, especially in imaging and battery innovation, but it did not quite overtake the Snapdragon-powered competition in raw performance. The Oppo Find X9 Pro arrives at a higher price of Rs 1,09,999, but this time the proposition feels more holistic. With a next-generation telephoto system, a significantly larger battery, MediaTek’s 3 nm Dimensity 9500, and a flatter, more modern design, the Find X9 Pro positions itself as Oppo’s most confident flagship yet. Whether that confidence translates into real-world superiority is what we set out to test.

EN→DEThe accomplished camera offering is easily the greatest strength of the Oppo Find X9 Pro, with gorgeous detail across all the lenses and a wonderfully versatile selection of video recording options. Add in the far more powerful processor, the accessible and unobtrusive AI, the enormous battery with excellent stamina and the brilliantly bright and colour accurate display, and the Oppo Find X9 Pro is a huge success. Better still, it undercuts the top dogs for value, getting you 512GB of storage for less money than the likes of Samsung and Apple charge for 256GB. The OnePlus 15 is better value overall, with similar quality across the board for over £100 less, but the Oppo Find X9 Pro is right up there as one of the most well-rounded and appealing alternatives to the Galaxys and iPhones of the world.

EN→DEThe OPPO Find X9 Pro’s improvements to its software and hardware experience have brought it even closer to being an easy pick, especially for users who want to try something different from the usual Android and iOS suspects without compromising on features, speed, and ease of use. The design, durability, display, and UI all come together nicely, and this is further bolstered by OPPO’s long-standing imaging discipline in its Find X cameras. Together, they complete the flagship phone, leaving only minor complaints in the box. While OPPO made sure to give the Find X9 Pro new toys like AI Mind Snap, a better telephoto camera, and stronger assurances across multiple IP ratings, we think the device stands out for its true all-day battery life and a design that’s no longer obtuse. The cherry on top?

At S$1,599 for the fixed configuration of 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, the Find X9 Pro leans towards the pricier side, but knocks it out of the park with stellar, well-rounded performance. EN→DEThe Find X9 Pro, then, isn’t just a smartphone. It is the realisation of a long-term goal, Oppo’s magnum opus that refuses to compromise. It has a camera system that doesn't just pass tests but evokes feelings, a battery that lasts long enough for you to forget where your charger is, and a design that out-Apples Apple with its rugged IP69 water-resistance. It’s complete, it’s beautiful, and it makes every other flagship feel like it missed a step. But of course, there’s always a catch when something is this good. All that technological abundance and photographic pedigree lands with an India price tag of Rs 1,09,999. The measurable value is clearly there. Yet, the real question isn't whether it’s worth the price, but whether you can look at it and successfully talk yourself out of falling hopelessly in love with it. I doubt you can.

EN→DEThe OPPO Find X9 Pro stands out as a photography-focused flagship, offering excellent daylight results, reliable low-light performance, and one of the most capable telephoto systems available today. Its immersive display, strong speakers, fluid everyday performance, long-lasting 7,500mAh battery, and refined ColorOS 16 experience further strengthen its appeal. That said, it does come with a few trade-offs: outdoor visibility isn’t the best, the large size and shifted weight balance make one-handed use tiring, the scrolling behaviour can feel slightly off, and the device warms up when pushed hard. And considering the segment it competes in, these shortcomings become more noticeable. Overall, the Find X9 Pro is best suited for users who want a premium camera experience, enjoy large displays for content consumption, value clean and consistent performance, and are comfortable investing in a top-tier flagship.

EN→DEHaving reviewed the Find X7 Ultra and the Find X8 Ultra, we have been waiting for Oppo to bring its ‘Ultra' models to India for the past two years. That said, last year's comeback in the form of the Find X8 Pro was not bad by any means; it's just that its cameras weren't well optimised compared to similarly priced devices at launch. Despite cutting down on one camera this year, Oppo seems to have filled a gaping void in its cold war against Samsung. The Oppo Find X9 Pro is a solid and well-rounded offering from the brand, offering little to no compromise against top-end flagships from Google, Vivo, and Samsung this year. The only feature that I had wished was included (and is probably reserved for the Find X9 Ultra) is built-in magnetic wireless charging, like on the latest Pixel 10 Pro lineup.

EN→DEThe OPPO Find X9 Pro feels like a confident leap forward for the Find X series, not just an iterative update. Its camera system shows meaningful progress, especially in consistency and everyday reliability, even if rivals still edge it out in a few isolated areas. The new Dimensity 9500 chipset delivers top-tier performance, the enormous 7,500mAh battery sets a new benchmark for flagship endurance, and the display is easily one of the finest you’ll find on any smartphone today. Design refinements make the phone more practical, the durability upgrades are genuinely impressive, and ColorOS 16 adds thoughtful touches, even if the bloatware situation remains unchanged. OPPO’s AI features aren’t class-leading, but they’re practical enough to add genuine value rather than feeling like gimmicks.

EN→DEThe OPPO Find X9 Pro is clearly a smartphone that should appeal to creators and photography enthusiasts. The camera system has been enhanced from the ground up to deliver better results than its predecessor. The 200MP periscope lens, in particular, is noteworthy, not just for its reach, but for how confidently it maintains detail and colour consistency across zoom levels. Moreover, the optional Hasselblad Teleconverter kit reinforces OPPO’s ambition to go beyond smartphone photography norms, even if its practicality remains questionable for everyday use. Both the primary and ultra-wide sensors deserve equal praise for keeping the overall camera experience consistently impressive. Their ability to shoot at the full 50MP resolution allows them to capture abundant detail, while the evolving Lumio Image Engine refines the output with balanced tones and natural colours.

EN→DEOppo might not be the first name that springs to mind when you think flagship Android phone, but with the Find X9 Pro – perhaps it should be. If it wasn’t for another Oppo phone – the Oppo Find X8 Ultra – I would easily name the X9 Pro as the best camera phone of the year. Where other mainstream brands' cameras have somewhat stagnated over the last few generations, the X9 Pro feels like a breath of fresh air. Quality across all three cameras is excellent, with some of the best consistency between lenses I have seen yet; colors are natural, and thanks to the dedicated color spectrum camera, very accurate. By itself, the 200MP telephoto lens is an absolute star of the show, managing to pull so much detail out of subjects so far away, but combined with the optional Hasselblad telephoto adapter, it's a game-changer for phone photography, and an accessory I think everyone buying this phone should seek out.

EN→DEIf the one feature you most demand from your phone is top-tier cameras, then look no further than the Oppo Find X9 Pro. Its got the variety yet the consistency – plus the benefit of class raw spec paired with computational AI benefits – to put it out of reach even from Samsung and Google's best. Not only that, the Find X9 Pro's untouchable battery life sees it last longer than the competition by a good margin. That it's heat management is so well handled in this top-end MediaTek chipset pairing only goes to show off the handset's other talents. There are some foibles – some more camera controls would be welcome, sometimes over-processing with AI, occasional questionable frame-rates in specific apps, and ColorOS 16 needing some more finesse – but nothing so overbearing that it breaks the experience.

EN→DEThe Oppo Find X9 Pro is a big, exciting departure from last year’s Find X8 Pro in more ways than one. The redesigned chassis makes the phone look and feel more modern, even if the Quick Button – aka the camera control – placement still isn’t quite right, while the totally flat, pixel-packed screen makes for a treat both when gaming and bingeing videos. But of course, it’s mainly about the camera performance, and despite dropping a lens compared to the X8 Pro, the X9 Pro consistently delivers some of the best shots around, packed with details that competitors often lose in post-processing. Things are only improved with the dedicated click-on telephoto lens, though it is an additional accessory you’ll need to carry around with you.

EN→DESo, should you buy the OPPO Find X9 Pro? Honestly, I’m kinda tempted to get one myself. Yes, the picture quality is great though there are some weird quirks like oversharpening in some scenarios, but the colors are great and the macro shots are also great. Of course, thanks to the MediaTek Dimensity 9500, the battery life and performance are also great. As for the price, it’s at RM5,099. It’s definitely up there with other flagship premium smartphones in the market today. As for the teleconverter lens, it’s a separate purchase and will be at RM999. I think the price tag is a bit hefty since it is essentially a lens that is only usable on the OPPO Find X9 Pro and nothing else (at least for now). Early birds can get it for RM799 only, which is still a bit hefty.

This is a well-executed smartwatch that nails the fundamentals while pushing into interesting new territory with health tracking. Samsung's delivered a refined experience that competes seriously with anything else in the Android ecosystem. For people with Galaxy phones—particularly those already invested in the ecosystem—this becomes one of the best Android wearable experiences currently available. The Find X9 Pro shows up weaknesses in all these phones, but we still can't ignore how hard this is to buy for many TG readers. If you do happen to live in an area where Oppo sells its products, this is absolutely a phone to go for if you love big battery life on your premium smartphones. EN→DEThe Find X9 Pro is one of the longest-lasting flagships around right now, with plentiful performance and styling that’s suitably high-end – but once again it’s Oppo’s camera setup that will earn this phone the most fans. While rivals aren’t fully left in the shade when it comes to pixel count or sensor size, the impactful image processing can make even mundane snaps stand out. It’s not perfect: low-light shots of moving subjects can be tricky and extreme zooms show signs of generative AI smoothing. But once the extender lens is bolted on, this is up there with the best phones for telephoto photography. EN→DEThe Oppo Find X9 Pro is a thoughtful evolution of the Find X series, striking a balance between bold new features and refined design. Its camera system, developed in partnership with Hasselblad, delivers impressive results for both photography and video, while the optional telephoto extender brings creative flexibility to mobile imaging. The display is a visual highlight, and the large battery provides reliable endurance for heavy users. There are still some compromises to consider. EN→DEThe Oppo Find X9 Pro is easily one of my favourite phones of 2025 (and I’ve tried most of them). There’s not one area where this phone falls short. The battery life is outstanding, the performance is top-notch, the software is slick, and the cameras are stunning. Plus, there’s the amazing telephoto extender kit, which adds an extra level of versatility for keen photographers. The only real downsides are the lack of availability in the US and the shorter software support terms than some of the competition. If you’re on the fence and can afford the Find X9 Pro, just get it. This phone will not disappoint. As for whether this is the best camera phone available, that’s a harder question. I’m pretty comfortable saying it’s the best model currently sold in the UK, but globally, the Vivo X300 Pro is a hot contender, as is Oppo’s own Find X8 Ultra. The battery lasts two days, and that alone is a big enough differentiator that I see this phone doing really well in Asian countries. Combine that with the groundbreaking cameras, vibrant AMOLED panel with useful features, and the overhauled software, and this is a pretty great phone overall. Choosing between the Find X9 Pro and Vivo X300 Pro is down to your preferences of software and image tuning, and having used both devices extensively, I will admit that the Find X9 Pro makes a better case — mostly around the software. There's also the fact that you get a much bigger battery on the Find X9 Pro, and the phone handily beats the global X300 Pro in this area. EN→DEDespite the myriad of AI-infused features we’re bombarded with these days on smartphones, I’m acutely aware that most people still only really care about three things: price, battery life, and the camera system. The OPPO Find X9 Pro isn’t a cheap phone (it’s slightly more expensive in the UK than last year’s model, too), but it looks and feels every bit the flagship, so I’m willing to let that slide. It’s still ‘cheaper’ than some of the other flagships out there, after all.The stonking battery performance will genuinely alter the expectations of X9 Pro owners. Anything less than at least three days of stamina from a smartphone in the future will feel like a serious downgrade. Both Apple and Samsung need to make serious strides in this area; OPPO is absolutely leading the way.I’d challenge anyone not to like the photos the X9 Pro spits out.

EN→DEThe Find X9 Pro is almost too good to be true. What were its key drawing factors on paper - the battery and the camera system - turned out just as great in practice. The phone has unmatched endurance with the screen on (and it's a super nice screen to begin with, but that's hardly a standout observation at this level), and manages to do it without looking or feeling like a brick. It also charges reasonably fast for what's more like a powerbank-sized capacity - hardly any complaints there either. Oppo's continued reliance on Mediatek chips for the Find Pros has proven successful over the years, we reckon, and the Find X9 Pro performs to the expected high standard - in benchmarks and in subjective feel.

EN→DEThe Oppo Find X9 Pro is a gem of a phone. It nails all the basics, and then some. It performs very well in all key aspects that make a phone great, with an excellent camera, battery life, performance, and great design. In fact, I'm struggling to point out things I don't like. The interface, while great, could have been more original. The camera app isn't that feature-rich (Vivo's cameras are much better and have many more useful features on deck). The image quality is great but could be slightly better. Overall, the Oppo Find X9 Pro is a device you should shortlist if you want to experience Android in its finest, but not terribly original form.

The Oppo Find X9 Pro really caught me by surprise. I believe it is Oppo's answer to the iPhone and.. it might actually be... better! Find X9 comes in 12GB + 512GB configuration, while the Find X9 Pro is offered in a 16GB + 512GB configuration. EN→DEOkay, looking at the whole picture, I wonder what you all think. Is the upgrade of the Find X9 series significant enough, and is its performance impressive? A 200MP telephoto, 4K 120fps HDR video recording, a 7500mAh large battery, extremely narrow screen bezels, a large-size motor, and NFC. With such outstanding camera capabilities, to create a design that doesn’t interfere with daily grip while also packing in a balanced configuration that considers other performance aspects. It can be said that the Find X9 Pro is here to steal business from the Ultra next door. And the smaller Find X9, building on the good reputation of its predecessor, has made up for many shortcomings. Such as a large battery, a high-pixel telephoto, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and so on.

EN→DEMediaTek’s Dimensity series has long been a step behind Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chips — until now. The new Dimensity 9500 marks a real turning point. For the first time in years, MediaTek has produced a flagship SoC that not only competes with but actually outperforms its Snapdragon counterpart in several key areas. When we compared real-world gaming performance and energy efficiency, the Dimensity 9500 consistently impressed. In demanding titles like Genshin Impact, Honkai Impact 3rd, and Honor of Kings, it consumed about 16% less power than the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 while maintaining nearly identical frame rates. That efficiency directly translates into roughly 16% longer gaming battery life — a noticeable difference during long play sessions.Heat management is another area where the Dimensity 9500 shines.

This flagship phone's fresh triple lens setup is headlined by a 50MP Ultra XDR main camera, using the new Sony LYT-828 sensor. This 1/1.28-inch sensor was apparently co-developed with OPPO and shoots 50MP photos by default.

ARM Mali-G1 Ultra MC12: High-End Grafikchip für Smartphones mit 12 möglichen Kernen. Basiert auf die "5th Gen" Architektur (Nachfolger von Valhall) inklusive Variable Rate Shading (VRS) und Ray Racing (2. Generation).
