Alright, so with that, we’ve come to the end of this review. And honestly speaking, I really, really love the new Vivo X300 Pro. For me, right now, this is the phone to beat. Yes, there’s still another strong contender coming up, the OPPO Find X9 Pro, which I’ve actually ordered, and it’s arriving in about a week. But what I can say for sure right now is I am not going back to my S25 Ultra. (throw S25 Ultra) This is going to be my daily driver for the next few months, just because of how ridiculously good the cameras are, especially that telephoto lens. That’s my go-to lens these days. Every time I see something interesting, that’s the one I reach for.And what I am even more excited for is the upcoming Vivo X300 Ultra, which is supposed to go global soon.

Asia, India, Europe, and other markets will find it easier to obtain one, whereas North Americans will have to import it. In Europe, the phone sells for €1,400, while the photography kit adds another €600. That’s expensive, and converted to USD, it gets uncomfortably close to what a good mirrorless camera can cost.

The Vivo X300 Pro hasn't launched internationally yet, but considering that we have a global unit in our hands — it's assumed that it will, and soon. The bad news is that it's still not coming to the US — we had that confirmed. You may be able to obtain one through resellers, but you will have to double-check and triple-check if your carrier has the needed bands for whatever unit you are looking at, and don't expect official support. While we have no pricing details for global markets, its predecessor had an MSRP of €1,299, so it'll probably be around that point. That's around the area of a 256 GB iPhone 17 Pro, or 512 GB Galaxy S25 Ultra. And the Vivo competes with those quite well — excellent camera, buttery software, all the features the competitors have, Gemini on board. It will get 4 years of Android updates, so that's less than the 7 years that Samsung and Google offer.

The X300 Pro doesn't differ too much from its predecessor, and that's a good thing. Vivo somehow managed to deliver even better cameras, and the result is that the X300 Pro takes the best photos of any phone available today — there's no question about that. The powerful MediaTek internals hold up to demanding tasks, most regions get a massive battery, and there isn't much to fault with the rest of the device. The software has been updated to OriginOS 6 globally, and it is much better to use than the outgoing Funtouch OS — if glitchy occasionally. On the whole, if you're looking to buy a new phone and want the best cameras and a great all-round device, the X300 Pro is the phone to beat.

The X300 series is now official in China, and there's no clear commitment on vivo's part to make the phones global. There's some hope, though, as OriginOS 6, which made its Chinese debut last week, is expected to go global in a few days. They feel better in the hand than their predecessors and feel more complete as a series. That's mainly due to their sizes, which cover just about anyone who doesn't want a foldable.The change-up in build is welcome. A glossy and overly curved phone feels outdated in this world of flat, matte, slab phones we live in. Usher in the flatter, matter vivo X300 Pro with vivo's excellent cameras and software, and you've got yourself a better phone than the X200 Pro.
