Ein Preis von 500 Euro für ein Tablet ist schon ein ganz schöner Happen. Dafür bekommt man beim Lenovo aber ein ungewöhnliches Tablet mit Funktionen wie dem Beamer, dem Standfuß und dem großen Akku, die es sonst kaum gibt. Auf der Negativseite steht das hohe Gewicht und das nicht gerade schlanke Gehäuse.

Mit dem Yoga Tab 3 Pro ist Lenovo eine durchaus gelungene Neuauflage seines Beamer-Tablets gelungen. Der Projektor strahlt heller und ist deutlich praktikabler platziert als beim Vorgängermodell. Leider verzichtet der Hersteller auf den Subwoofer aus dem Vorgängermodell. Hardware, Display und Akkulaufzeit bewegen sich auf gutem Niveau.

The Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro is primarily a media consumption device. It has a big, sharp screen, excellent speakers, decent audio even with headphones, and a built-in projector that will come in handy for presentations and the like. It looks good and has decent battery life. The adjustable stand means that you can position the tablet however you like, and there's even a decent set of cameras. For the very specific purposes that use these attributes, this is an excellent device. However, it is not an all-rounder of a device, and it will disappoint you in other ways.

What’s really swell in all of this, is that it strikes a chord with both multimedia buffs and professionals that want to get work done. Indeed, its $499.99 price point means that it’s competing against the like of the Apple iPad Air 2, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch, and even the Google Nexus 9, but it certainly offers an entertaining package for the money. The specs are good, the software is improved, the battery life is long lasting, and the projector certainly has its added benefits.

The YOGA Tab 3 Pro is, first and foremost, a beautiful tablet. Whether you get much use out of the projector doesn’t matter much when looking at the product as a whole. The display is beautiful, and the hinge is an equal mixture of unique and functional. Add to this the leather back, front-facing speakers, durable construction, built-in projector, and more...well, to put it lightly, the tablet does everything a tablet should and more. Of course, the projector is a big part of the tablet and unless you’re very picky or expecting more than you should, you’ll be very satisfied with it. Being able to fire up a movie on the ‘big screen’ for impromptu movie nights was unexpectedly fun, and despite the projector’s small size, it held its own well.

For £399 you get a metal-bodied tablet with an integrated kickstand, a vibrant QHD screen, great battery life, and expandable memory – that alone sounds like a good package, but the added benefit of the projector is the cherry on top of an already tempting offering from Lenovo and the most impressive Yoga tablet yet.

Modell: Lenovo, der größte PC-Hersteller in China, ist der viert-größte der Welt. Das Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro 10 YT3-X90L ist ein 10,1 Zoll großes Tablet mit einem eingebauten Projektor. Das ergibt sicherlich eine neue Art Videos und Filme von einem Tablet zu genießen. Das drehbare Scharnier ermöglicht es, Bilder an eine Wand oder Decke in bis zu 1,78 m Entfernung zu projizieren. Der QHD-Bildschirm (Quad High Definition) liefert helle, scharfe und beeindruckend detailreiche Bilder in verschiedenem Umgebungslicht und von allen Winkeln. Das Yoga verfügt über einen Intel Atom Processor x5-Z8500, 2 GB RAM und 32 GB internen Speicher. An der Rückseite befindet sich eine 13-MP-Kamera mit Autofokus, während die Frontkamera mit 5 MP auflöst. Die vier nach vorne gerichteten JBL-Lautsprecher mit Dolby Atmos Soundsystem liefern ein beeindruckend dynamisches Audio-Erlebnis, welches sich kein anderes Tablet rühmen kann.

Während durchgängiger Video-Wiedergabe über Projektor, gestreamt via WLAN, hält der Akku beeindruckende 4,5 Stunden durch. Der Akku im Zylinder des innovativen Scharniers und der Ständer an der Seite des Gerätes verlagern den Schwerpunkt und ermöglichen viele Nutzungsmodi: Das Gerät kann gehalten, auf verschiedene Winkel aufgeklappt, auf einer soliden Oberfläche aufgestellt oder über Kopf aufgehängt werden. Dieses Modell verfügt nicht nur über ein robustes Metall-Gehäuse, sondern ist auch IP21 zertifiziert, also spritzwasserfest. Zu dem eingebauten Standard-Zubehör gehören Bluetooth 4.0, ein microSD-Kartenleser, ein micro-USB-Port und verschiedene Sensoren einschließlich eines G-Sensors, eines Erschütterungssensors, eines Umgebungslichtsensors und eines E-Kompass.

Thinkpad Yoga ist eine Ultrabook-Serie hergestellt von Lenovo. Die Yoga Serie wurde 2012 auf den Markt gebracht, ihr Nachfolger, ThinkPad Yoga 2, wurde im vierten Quartal 2014 herausgegeben. Yoga Laptops wurden so leicht, dünn und portable wie möglich gestaltet und richten sich an junge, technisch versierte Consumer. Thinkpad Yogas heben sich durch ihr einzigartiges Feature, sich durch 360-Grad-Drehung des Bildschirms in ein Tablet zu verwandeln, von der Konkurrenz ab.

Die Yoga Serie wurde Ende 2012 mit dem 11-Zoll Yoga 11 und dem 13-Zoll Yoga 13 gestartet. Die zweite Generation, genannt Yoga 2 Pro wurde Ende 2013 herausgebracht: ein 13,3-Zoll großes Modell, deutlich leichter als das Yoga 13. Das jüngste Modell ist das Yoga 3 Pro von Ende 2014. Es ist noch dünner und leichter als alle seine Vorgänger bei gleicher 13,3-Zoll Größe. Der leistungsstärkere Prozessor verringert allerdings die Akkulaufzeit ein bisschen auf unter 6 Stunden. Neben den Ultrabooks gibt es auch IdeaPad Yoga Tablets, die auch in 8-Zoll und 10-Zoll verfügbar sind.

Intel HD Graphics (Cherry Trail): Grafikeinheit in den Tablet-SoCs der Cherry-Trail-Serie. Basiert auf der Broadwell-GPU (Intel Gen8), unterstützt DirectX 12 (FL 11_1) und bietet je nach Modell 12 oder 16 EUs.

Diese Karten können nur sehr alte und sehr anspruchslose 3D Spiele flüssig darstellen.  Anwendungen wie Office, Internet surfen, Bildbearbeitung oder (SD) Videoschnitt sind jedoch ohne große Einschränkungen möglich.
