EN→DEThe overall experience with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is very positive – the device truly transforms everyday smartphone use. Compared to traditional and standard smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 stands out not only for its ability to fold the screen out to the size of a tablet, but also for its support for Dolby Atmos technology, which ensures excellent sound quality when watching movies or listening to music. This device combines a huge, comfortable screen, multitasking, excellent performance, decent cameras, and a decent battery. It's also slimmer and more elegant than its predecessor. It's not for everyone – neither is it cheap nor without compromise. But if you consciously choose the Fold, I guarantee you'll be happy. I recommend it without hesitation.

EN→DEEnough waffle, let’s get to the big question. Is the Galaxy Z Fold 7 worth picking up? The answer depends on how much you’re willing to spend and how much you value that extra screen. Can you live with weaker cameras and battery life in exchange for more screen space and a gorgeous form factor? At two thousand dollars, it’s a harder sell. But if you catch it on sale (like the ongoing bargain) or stack some trade-in offers, I’d absolutely go for it. If you’re a slab phone user like I was and you’ve been thinking about trying a foldable, this is the perfect device to start with. And comes with no regrets.

EN→DEThe large 8inch screen is stunning, and makes all your images look amazing, especially bright colourful images taken on sunny days. You might be disappointed when you then view them on other phones or screens, and may be overly confident that you’ve got an amazing photo. However, this is a minor quibble, as most of the time you will actually get great photos. You’ll also get 7 years of updates. Like other Samsung phones, there were times where a faster shutter speed would have helped when taking photos, for example capturing moving squirrels, pigeons, cats, and other fast-moving animals. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 offers you a great photography experience, and an excellent all-round package of cameras, putting it on a par with other flagship (bar) phones, only slightly beaten by other phones like the S25 Ultra which has more cameras (both a 3x and 5x camera).

Gamers will absolutely want to grab that foldable Galaxy phone, with its beefy Snapdragon 8 Elite brains - this is great for Wuthering Waves, Genshin Impact etc. That said, the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold actually performed better than its siblings when gaming, which is a plus! Battery life is also better on the Pixel, offering a long, full day of play on a single charge. Meanwhile that Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is usually in battery saver mode by evening time. Got to say though, the Sammy folding phone is so much slimmer and lighter, which makes it immeasurably more desirable.

EN→DEThe Galaxy Z Fold7 isn’t perfect. The lack of S Pen support and slow charging are disappointing, and it still trails rivals in durability and secondary camera performance. Yet, it’s also Samsung’s most refined Fold yet. The slimmer design makes it practical as a daily phone, the 200MP camera is a massive upgrade, and the combination of polished software, Galaxy AI, and unmatched long-term updates keeps it ahead of the pack in areas that matter most for real users. If you’re still holding onto a slab phone and curious about foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is the model that finally makes the leap worth considering.

EN→DEThe Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 looks and feels like the most complete design of this device ever. The improvements here are real and welcomed. The whole device now folds flat; no more slight bend when fully open. The crease on the inner display is nearly invisible now; you can see it with the display off at specific angles, but it’s much improved. The size of the inner display has increased, as has the outer display. The most significant change is that the Galaxy Z Fold7 is now wider. This slight increase in width makes the device look and feel more normal when folded closed. It has a more natural footprint and is more like a standard smartphone. No skinny cover display here, and this is wonderful. We also get excellent cameras, on par with the S25 Ultra.

EN→DEI switched to the Galaxy Fold7 after testing the Galaxy S25, so overall I didn't feel any significant drop in battery life or the need to change my charging habits. As a rule, I put my smartphone on charge overnight so that I have 100% battery in the morning. In general, this is not recommended. But it is convenient, and the battery protection mode in Samsung smartphones charges the battery faster to 80%, while the other 20% is already slower, and the system adapts to charge to 100% just before I wake up. So the battery life cycle is not drastically reduced. As for charging itself, the Galaxy Fold7 supports power supplies up to 25W, which isn't as fast as the 45W in the Galaxy S25 Ultra, but it can charge the smartphone from 0 to 50% in 30 minutes. In addition, it has wireless charging up to 15W and reverse charging up to 4.5W.

EN→DEUntil now, the Fold series has been a handset we believe is reserved for those who want bleeding-edge technology and aren’t afraid to try something new. With the Fold7, though, Samsung has created something that we believe merges the performance power of a bar-type smartphone with a foldable. The power is unhinged, the camera is comparable to some of the best examples on the market, and you aren’t losing too much as regards battery power. Sure, the handset is still delicate, and those with slippery hands should still avoid it, but we sort of abused this thing. It sat on our desk, surrounded by dust and dirt, and never once showed signs of weakness. This tells us that the gaps aren’t as wide as that first run at a foldable, and maybe, this thing would thrive in our local climate and environment.

EN→DEThe Galaxy Z Fold 7 is Samsung’s best foldable yet, and in design terms, the best-looking foldable on the market right now. Its slim build, excellent cover screen, and standout main camera sensor make it a joy to use day-to-day, and for vlogging, it’s better than anything else in the 2025 foldable space. But it’s also a phone of compromises. The telephoto and ultrawide cameras feel weak next to the main sensor, battery life and charging are underwhelming, and heat management dents its gaming credentials and performance on hot days. Dropping S Pen support also makes it less of a productivity tool than earlier Folds, though we didn’t mind the omission. At £1,799/$1,999, those shortcomings matter, especially when rivals like Honor, Oppo, and Vivo are pushing harder with lower prices, bigger batteries, and more versatile cameras.

EN→DELike its rivals that have also shifted towards slimmer designs, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 is a worthwhile option. It isn’t the most affordable, but for those already invested in Samsung’s ecosystem, it remains a compelling upgrade. As someone who’s been using Samsung’s Flip models, the jump to its book-style foldable smartphones was surprisingly pleasant. The Galaxy Z Fold7’s slimmer form factor makes it easier to handle and carry, while the expansive internal display proves useful for both productivity and leisure. That said, the absence of S Pen support is disappointing, its overall design feels uninspired, while the cameras leave more to be desired. EN→DEThe Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 delivered a strong performance for video playback, particularly with HDR10 content, where brightness and color fidelity worked together to produce a satisfying viewing experience. Colors remained pleasant and faithful across most tested conditions, making the screen reliable for both media and everyday use. The peak brightness was measured at 2481 nits for the internal display and 2605 nits for the external display, ensuring excellent visibility even in demanding lighting environments. Touch response was another highlight, with smooth and consistent performance across all scenarios. However, brightness levels were often too high in low-light and dark environments, which could reduce comfort during extended use. Readability also faced challenges due to the screen’s high reflectance, which disturbed visibility in difficult lighting conditions. On top of that, frequent unwanted touches detracted from the overall usability of the device, slightly undermining an otherwise capable display

For the shoppers in the Western markets, including the US, there simply isn't a better choice. EN→DEThe Galaxy Z Fold 7 finally feels like a leap, not because it reimagines the foldable phone, but because it refines it with surgical precision. The Fold 7 landed in India at a hefty Rs 1,74,999, and is Samsung’s slimmest Fold yet, shaving millimetres off both the hinge and frame, and for the first time, the closed device actually feels like a phone, not a paperback notebook. But like last year, Samsung’s foldable doesn’t arrive alone. Vivo’s X Fold 5, launched just days after, is cheaper by Rs 25,000. EN→DEIf you’re coming from a Galaxy Fold 4 or earlier, the Fold 7 will feel like a massive upgrade. The change in form factor also makes it easier to handle than the Fold 5 or 6. In those cases, however, performance upgrades feel more incremental, and the software upgrades… well, you’ll probably get those eventually. When a smartphone starts at R50,000 or thereabouts, it’s got to be something special to convince you to part with the cash or sign that contract. Samsung’s Fold 7 is certainly special enough to make you consider it, at the very least, but it’s a tougher call if you were previously convinced in 2023 or 2024. The major issue fixed this time around is the camera, which constitutes a must-buy upgrade for a certain user. There will be more of those than there will be of folks miffed about the departure of the S Pen. EN→DEI feel confident in saying that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is both the best foldable on the market, and also probably doesn’t make sense for most people. It’s thin, it has large screens, its cameras have few compromises, and finally, it’s a foldable that looks, stores, and handles like a regular phone while it’s closed. This phone can go toe-to-toe with its non-folding brethren when it comes to pocketability and photos, and that’s worth celebrating. But it also starts at $2,000, which is $700 more than Samsung’s best non-folding phone. And for that higher price, you get a smaller battery and a main screen that you might not be able to get much use out of. Obviously, what stands out the most is its Z Fold7’s ultra-thin and light design, which allows Samsung’s feature-rich software and broad ecosystem to truly shine, and finally brings a competitive book-style folding phone experience to the US market. Despite being a remarkable device overall, the Z Fold7 does fall short in a few areas, especially when compared to the Chinese competition. Battery life is middling at best, and charging speeds are slow by today’s standards. The Z Fold7’s telephoto configuration is lackluster, and zooming suffers because of it. Plus, without S Pen support, Samsung risks losing one of its most loyal audiences. Then there’s the Z Fold7’s weaker sustained performance.

EN→DERetailing for S$2,698 for the 256GB model, $2,878 for 512GB, and S$3,328 for 1TB, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is pretty expensive, especially when compared with the competition. It's S$150 more expensive compared from last year's model, too. But it does offer a great experience, and the smaller camera bump does feel nicer to me (at the cost of camera performance when zooming). But unless Samsung finds a way to bring down prices, it's going to find it tough going against its Chinese competition and their equally good folding phones. Get from Shopee or Lazada.

EN→DELet’s address the missing piece — S Pen support. Honestly? I didn’t miss it. If Samsung can’t find a way to store the stylus inside the phone without making it bulky again, I’m fine without it. That trade-off gave us a slimmer, lighter Fold7, and I’ll take that any day. This isn’t just the best foldable Samsung has ever made — it’s the most complete flagship in their entire lineup. I didn’t say “foldable flagship” for a reason. The Fold7 deserves to be spoken about in the same breath as any top-tier device, fold or not. It’s a design statement, a performance beast, a camera champ, and a productivity powerhouse. Every feature added here feels earned, not gimmicky. The only real downside is the price. The Fold7 starts at Rs 1,74,999 for the 256GB model, Rs 1,86,999 for 512GB, and Rs 2,16,999 for the 1TB variant that also gets 16GB RAM. That’s a steep ask. But if you can afford it, this isn’t just a tech toy anymore. It’s a serious, refined, foldable flagship that delivers where it matters.

EN→DEThe Galaxy Z Fold7 transforms a previously niche idea into a viable mainstream choice for high-tier, premium handsets. While candybar, single-screen phones are likely here to stay for the mass market, Samsung’s increasing foldable mastery could guide expectations for expensive devices in the future, since users typically expect more (or better) features when paying more money. What’s left is to shore up are the minor details (like making it IP68-rated, alongside the other upgrades mentioned) and making it cost as much as a normal phone for that transition to happen.

EN→DEMy main critique of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is its price. The phone starts at $2,000 for the 256GB model, making it one of the most expensive phones currently available in the US. When I told my friend this, he summed it up perfectly by comparing the cost to buying an iPhone 16 Pro and an iPad, and I couldn't argue with that logic. However, if you want a foldable phone right now, the Fold 7 is the best choice because of its improved versatility, as long as you're comfortable with its $2,000 price tag. In my opinion, it's the first foldable that truly makes sense as a replacement for your regular smartphone, and I think that's clear from the response it has received since its unveiling. That said, if you own a Fold 4 or Fold 5 and are considering an upgrade, the Fold 7 is a solid option.

EN→DEThe price is one thing that hasn't gotten better—in fact, it's moving in the wrong direction. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is even more expensive than last year's model at a cool $2,000. As slick and capable as this phone is, the exorbitant price ensures tablet-style foldables remain a niche category. If that's what it costs to make a foldable you'll want to carry, flat phones won't be usurped any time soon. If you don't mind spending two grand on a phone or can get a good deal with a trade-in or a carrier upgrade, you won't regret the purchase. This is the most power that can fit in your pocket. It's available directly from Samsung (in an exclusive Mint color), Amazon, Best Buy, and your preferred carrier.

EN→DEThe Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 feels like the holy grail of foldable phones. It’s super thin and light, so it feels like a regular phone in your pocket. And yet, the new Fold packs a bigger 8-inch display when opened. Samsung also upgraded the camera system, including a 200MP main shooter and an ultrawide camera that takes much better macros. And having Gemini Live always at the ready is a game changer. The $2,000 price is super expensive — and Samsung ditched the S Pen — but overall this is the best foldable money can’t buy.

EN→DEAny phone that starts at $2,000 deserves additional scrutiny, even if the cameras aren’t the main draw. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is as pricey a proposition as any smartphone can currently be. And while Samsung finally — finally — chose to throw customers a bone with a worthy main camera, it’s let down by both inconsistent processing and a very mediocre telephoto camera. You could argue shooting at 200-megapixels helps shore that up but the resolution only works best in the very same conditions the telephoto does well in. There’s a gap here that’s hard for any mobile photographer to reconcile. It’s high time Samsung realize it has a solid foundation of shooting modes and editing framework in this phone, yet lacks versatility in some key areas. Its total ignorance toward action photography seems shockingly aloof for a brand that pushed so many experimental photography features over the years.

EN→DEFor the past few years, it felt like Samsung had lost its competitive edge in the foldable phone segment, letting Chinese brands like Honor and Oppo hog all the innovation limelight. With the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Samsung has delivered a solid knockout punch. It's not overwhelmingly the best foldable phone pound for pound, but it's pretty close to the summit. For the shoppers in the Western markets, including the US, there simply isn't a better choice. It's an exquisite piece of hardware that puts Samsung back in the game, and with plenty of substance to vouch for it. Samsung's software is rich in meaningful features, and it doesn't disappoint when it comes to raw performance chops, display quality, or camera prowess. The software update cycle is the most generous in the Android ecosystem, and the underlying durability concerns of foldable hardware have also been addressed to a large extent.

EN→DEOverall, we really like the changes Samsung made to the Galaxy Z Fold7. It addresses most of the issues we had with the past models, such as the lackluster cameras and the thickness of the phone. On the Galaxy Z Fold7, the camera is a lot more capable now. Its slimmer size and bigger cover screen mean you don’t have to open up the main display that often, either. Not to mention, you also have the new features available with One UI 8.It’s still far from perfect with its lackluster battery life and audio quality. But we think it’s a step in the right direction. EN→DETangible hardware upgrades to Samsung phones have been in short supply over the past couple of years, so the Galaxy Z Fold 7 was a pleasant surprise. Alongside the improved processor, we have a design that rivals non-folding flagships for weight and slimness, an excellent new main camera and larger, sharper displays. The other side of this coin is that some features have been jettisoned to squeeze these upgrades into the skinny new package. Dropping S Pen support feels like a mistake when the big display feels so naturally suited to its use, and Honor will have the edge on dust and water resistance when its IP58/IP59-rated Magic V5 launches in a few weeks. With Honor nearly matching Samsung on software support, camera quality, design and performance, ditching the S Pen feels like giving away one of Samsung’s few advantages over its closest (and likely cheaper) rival.

EN→DESamsung's Galaxy Z Fold 7 feels significantly more mature than its predecessors. It eliminates the compromises consumers were once forced to accept in exchange for foldability: it's no longer noticeably heavier, thicker, or bulkier than a regular phone. The battery is large enough, performance is fast and cool, and the camera has seen a serious upgrade. The main drawback? While the device has gotten smaller and sleeker, the price has ballooned, starting at around $2,200 and climbing to $2,500. Last year, the Fold 6 started at $2,100, and that was already $150 more than the Fold 5. What does this signal for Fold 8 pricing? In terms of features and performance, the Fold 7 is easy to recommend, you really do get a sleek smartphone with bonus capabilities. But in terms of price, it depends on the depth of your pockets, the state of your bank account, and whether you can get a good trade-in deal.

In many ways, this is the greatest foldable Galaxy yet. Gaming on the likes of Wuthering Waves is a superb experience, while that large internal display is a great way to enjoy comics or multi-task on the move. However, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 still lags behind rivals in a couple of ways. I prefer the Open Canvas method of multi-tasking, while the Samsung Fold 7 struggles to serve up a full day of battery life. That capacity hasn't increased at all, so I was scraping the dregs on a number of days before heading to bed. That's where the Honor Magic V5 and Vivo Fold X5 certainly win. Likewise, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 charges slowly and OneUI 8 isn't quite as lovable as ColorOS. And while the camera tech is pretty good, that heavy processing does impact snaps. Look past these flaws, however, and the Samsung Fold 7 is an impressive piece of hardware, at a price.

EN→DEIt's a good sign when you become so used to a phone's design that you forget how extraordinary it really is. That's certainly been the case with the Z Fold 7. This phone's thinness, paired with its wider cover screen, makes it feel wonderfully normal when closed, and the inside display has become my go-to way to watch movies and multitask. It's great that the camera and battery didn't end up being the trade-offs I was bracing myself for with that slimmer build, and the phone feels surprisingly durable. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before more companies take a page out of Samsung's book and slim down their phones, too. (Looking at you, Apple.) .. EN→DEBattery quibbles aside, this is a really good foldable phone. I think if you can make the price work for you (via trade-in or otherwise) and you think the form factor would benefit you in any way, you might have found your next phone. Galaxy Z Fold 7 is my favorite Samsung foldable yet almost entirely on the back of its extreme thinness and solid performance. Its software features aren’t really anything to write home about, but we live in the age of diminishing returns, so that’s to be expected at this point. It wins in enough other areas that this could be a nice everyday device for years to come, assuming there aren’t any long-term technical problems that wouldn’t show up in a launch window review.

EN→DEEven if ‘Ultra’ isn’t in the name, Samsung didn’t hold back this year. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 sets the new standard for foldable phones. It’s one of the most fun smartphones I’ve tested, and Google is going to have a hard time beating this one next month. Samsung addressed our feedback in last year’s Galaxy Z Fold 6 review, crafting a phone with an ultra-thin design, wider screens, a flagship-level 200MP camera, and fast performance. It finally packs in the fundamentals of a top-tier smartphone without too many sacrifices. The Z Fold 7 design nails the dimensions we wanted: an 8-inch tablet-like screen, a 6.5-inch Cover Screen, and a folded size that’s somehow thinner than the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It feels extra durable thanks to a stronger hinge and thicker glass, and there’s less of an unsightly crease.

EN→DEThe Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 advances the foldable smartphone category with meaningful upgrades that go beyond superficial refinements. With a starting price of Rs 174,999, it remains a premium offering, but its combination of a thin-and-lightweight design, enhanced camera system, foldable-optimised software experience, and industry-leading AI capabilities justify the investment for users seeking both innovation and utility. The device excels in key areas: its broader cover display brings usability closer to conventional smartphones, the inner foldable screen offers a tablet-like experience tailored for productivity, and the refined One UI 8, based on Android 16, supports enhanced multitasking and one-handed operation. Imaging performance, particularly through the main camera, is reliable and consistent, with support for high-quality video capture across all sensors.

EN→DESamsung has achieved quite a feat with the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Yes, it's a spectacularly thin phone, but an even greater accomplishment is that using both the cover and main display on this book-style foldable finally feels like an almost perfect experience. Almost. I spent a week scrolling, snapping photos and texting on Samsung's new premium foldable, and it really was a "feeling is believing" experience. Because the Z Fold 7 is only 8.9mm thick when closed and 4.2mm when open, it's not clunky in either configuration. (For comparison, last year's Z Fold 6 was 12.1mm thick when closed and 5.6mm when open. That makes the new foldable phone just a bit thicker than the 7.2mm Galaxy S25 when closed.) The generous 6.5-inch cover screen means I hardly feel the need to pry the phone open and use the more sprawling internal display – even though that's kind of the whole point. And snapping photos on this foldable doesn't feel like a compromise, thanks to an impressive triple camera system that includes a 200-megapixel sensor.

EN→DESamsung is back in the game with this year's foldable. Sure, there are still some missteps, such as the battery life, charging rate, the omission of the S Pen, the lackluster telephoto camera, and the absence of Dolby Vision support, if anyone cares. However, the Z Fold7 excels in other areas, providing a much better main camera, nice ultrawide, better internal selfie cam, larger displays with better aspect ratios and offers one of the thinnest and lightest designs in the segment. These upgrades alone make the Z Fold7 much easier to recommend than its predecessors. Moreover, the handset is entitled to 7 major OS upgrades while launching with Android 16 out of the box. It looks like Samsung has performed better under pressure from the rising competition in the last few years. The Galaxy Z Fold7 proves that the Korean tech giant still has it.

EN→DEThe Z Fold7 is an incredible device. It’s the best foldable phone I’ve ever used and the first which could tempt me to switch to it full-time. I did that with the Z Fold6 for three months, and it feels like the frustrations that led me back to the iPhone simply don’t exist anymore. However, it is still an expensive phone, and the removal of S-Pen support will bother some. But even when combined with the issues I’ve noted above, I don’t think there’s enough to call the Z Fold7 anything other than a triumphant release for Samsung. Foldables are still a niche part of the market, but that’s partly why I love them; they’re interesting among a sea of very good-but-bland smartphones. I appreciate I haven’t spoken about performance or AI in this review, but that’s because both are virtually a moot point in Samsung land.

With its latest flagship foldable, Samsung has removed one of the remaining barriers preventing people from trying out the new breed of phones: excessive size and weight. By widening its cover display, the Z Fold 7 looks and acts just like a regular smartphone, which is great for checking messages, looking up directions or snapping a photo. EN→DEUnequivocally, the answer is yes; you should buy the Galaxy Z Fold 7. It’s the first folding phone that can persuade people globally to try a folding phone, and this is a landmark folding phone that sets the benchmark for others to follow. It also proves that phones don’t always need the best specs, although I hope that Samsung does improve these compromises in the future. The battery could be better; the performance is solid, but unspectacular, and the cameras are a half-step up, not a full step ahead. Yet, it’s one of the few devices I’d recommend even if you own the Galaxy Z Fold 6. If these are not dealbreakers for you, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is the folding phone to buy. EN→DESamsung knows better than most how hard engineering phones can be. Remember the explosive Galaxy Note 7? Part of the challenge is knowing what to leave out, and cutting a few features has arguably turned the Z Fold 7 into the best of the current foldable breed. Sure, the lack of stylus support might sting a little for the small minority that used an S Pen on older Folds. And battery is becoming a bit of a lead weight for Samsung phones in general. But the Z Fold 7’s svelte form, expansive screens and capable rear cameras otherwise bring it up to par. Feature-packed software and swift performance then make it very easy to live with indeed. Book-style foldables are still niche – the high price puts them out of reach for many – but the Galaxy Z Fold 7 just made them that little bit more mainstream.

EN→DEI’ve spent nearly a week testing Samsung’s new Galaxy Z Fold 7, and one of the biggest questions I have about it is battery life. This $1,999 phone is one of the most expensive you can get in North America, competing with the likes of other flagship smartphones like the iPhone 16 Pro Max, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Samsung’s own Galaxy S25 Ultra. All of these phones have proven they can last all day on a charge - even Google’s Pixel 9 Pro Fold can. My question was whether the Z Fold 7 could keep up. After all, it comes with a 4,400mAh cell to power two large displays, a fast processor, and keep itself cool at the same time in a thin-and-light form factor. Seems impossible, right? EN→DEThis is a pretty significant update for Samsung’s flagship folding phone and from what I’ve seen already I can tell our reviewer is going to absolutely love it. It’s the thinnest Fold yet and somehow Samsung has managed to keep build quality high while squeezing in some pretty enticing upgrades. Alas, Samsung is keeping the price ludicrously high, so this will remain a phone for the few, which is a shame. The base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is still £1,799, with 12GB and 512GB it rises to £1,899 and the top-end phone with 16GB and 1TB of storage is £2,149. But, perhaps, now that the manufacturing processes behind these exotic handsets has fully matured, and on this evidence it certainly seems as if it has, the next few years will see that price steadily come down. But with the introduction of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, Samsung is finally ready to show who's the king. The new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is a stunner. At 8.9mm thick, it's on par with the the Oppo Find N5, and just slightly thicker than the just-announced Honor Magic V5 (8.88mm thick). Honestly, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is approaching the limits of how thin it can be, due to how phones have to accommodate the USB-C port. Sam Rutherford checks out not one, not two, but three new Samsung foldables. The Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 are traditional successors, this time focused on slimming down their profiles while expanding the size of their main displays. As for the Z Flip 7 FE, it's Samsung's attempt at an affordable foldable, with specs similar to last year's Z Flip 6 paired with a lower $900 asking price.
