Preislich attraktiv ist das Xiaomi Mi Note 2 zwar immer noch, aber mit 580 Franken nicht billig. Schade, geht es jeweils recht lange, bis die Xiaomi-Geräte den Weg in den Schweizer Handel finden. Denn sie sind durchaus eine echte Konkurrenz für die etablierten Marken aus Korea, Japan, Taiwan oder den USA. Das Mi Note 2 ist ein gutes und schickes Topgerät – zu einem fairen Preis.

Das Xiaomi Mi Note 2 erschien kurze Zeit nach dem Mi 5s Plus, ist technisch ähnlich ausgestattet und ebenfalls nicht so günstig wie einige vorangehende Xiaomi-Modelle. Das Xiaomi Mi Note 2 ist ein wunderschönes high-end Smartphone mit sehr guter Ausstattung. Leider empfinden wir das Gerät aber als stark überteuert. Das Display und die Kameras bieten einfach nicht die Qualität, welche man bei einem Smartphone dieser Preisklasse erwarten darf. Das Mi Note 2 schneidet in unserem Test in vielen Bereichen gut ab, anders als beim Mi5 desselben Herstellers haben wir beim aktuellen Topgerät von Xiaomi allerdings auch einige deutliche Kritikpunkte gefunden. So sehr uns die Verarbeitungsqualität, der starke Prozessor und die Speicherausstattung gefallen, so sehr stören uns das Display und die Kamera.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is not a Samsung Note 7 rip-off, but even if it was, the Note 7 is dead anyway. The Note 2 is not original either. It’s not a cheap phone, but it’s still somewhat cheaper than similar devices from mainstream brands. It’s might not be as big as you’d expect from a 5.7-inch beast, yet it doesn’t exactly have a small footprint (Samsung still beats it on account of its smaller bezels, made possibly by the curvier AMOLED display). That’s sort of our problem with the Mi Note 2. It feels like it was designed by a committee.

Einige nicht anspruchsvolle aktuelle Spiele können mit geringen Details noch flüssig gespielt werden. Für Office und Video natürlich ausreichende Leistungsreserven.
