Der hierzulande noch nicht sehr bekannte chinesische Hersteller ZTE hat mit dem Technologieträger Axon mini bereits aufhorchen lassen, greift mit dem Axon 7 nun aber wirklich an. Das Axon 7 ist nicht nur nominell schnell, sondern auch stark verarbeitet, gut ausgestattet und mit viel Akkuleistung versehen. Schwachstelle ist – noch! – die Software. Vor der Markteroberung bitte noch nachbessern!

That's why I thought the HTC 10 was a pile of "meh"), so whatever minor nitpick I have, such as a less-than-stellar low light camera performance or silly gesture shortcuts or no backlight for capacitive buttons that are too close together, I just tell myself "dude this phone is $400," and I don't think it's bad at all.

Modell: Auf den ersten Blick ist es schwierig im Axon 7 ein Budget-Phone zu erkennen. Es sieht solide aus und ist gut gebaut und ZTE behauptet, dass es in Zusammenarbeit mit Designworks, einer Tochter der BMW-Gruppe, designed wurde. Sein 5,5 Zoll großer AMOLED-Bildschirm löst in WQHD (2.560 x 1.440 Pixeln) auf. Mit seiner Dual-LTE-Fähigkeit schlägt das Axon 7 aufgrund der Anrufgewohnheiten des Nutzers automatisch einen SIM vor. Das Gerät läuft unter Android 6.01 Marshmallow und wird durch einen Snapdragon 820 2,15 GHz Prozessor angetrieben.

Der interne Speicher des ZTE Axon 7 verfügt über eine Kapazität von 64 GB mit 4 GB RAM oder 128 GB mit 6 GB RAM. Zudem bietet das Gerät einen MicroSD-Slot, er bis zu 256 GB unterstützt. Dank einer 20-MP-Kamera mit 1.8 Blende an der Rückseite und einer 8-MP-Frontkamera mit 2.2 Kamera liefert das Phone kristallklare Photos mit vielen Funktionen und Modi. Netzwerkkommunikation ist via WiFi, A-GPS und Bluetooth möglich. Ein Fingerabdruckleser ermöglicht es dem User Gesten zum Entsperren und zur ID-Erkennung einzurichten. Ein Schlüssel-Highlight des Axon 7 ist die, dank HiFi-Audio, hohe Audioqualität. Seine Erschwinglichkeit macht das Axon 7 zu einem sehr begehrtem Phone.

Der Unterschied zum ZTE Axon 7 Mini ist zB ein 0.3 Zoll größerer Display mit 2560x1440p statt 1920x1080p Auflösung, etwas bessere Kamera, Prozessor, GPU und doppelter Speicher.

Qualcomm Adreno 530: Grafikchip für Smartphones und Tablets, integriert im Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC.

Einige nicht anspruchsvolle aktuelle Spiele können mit geringen Details noch flüssig gespielt werden. Für Office und Video natürlich ausreichende Leistungsreserven.
